We lived here from May 2018-March 2022 and have nothing but nice things to say about the complex. From management to maintenance they handled everything with care. The only issue we ever had living there was the "Karen" downstairs complaining about everything and anything because her life was just that miserable I guess. Thankfully management handled everything professionally and with understanding instead of punishing us. They also take extra care of their residents by having holiday parties, food trucks, and resident appreciation events. I highly recommend living here if you are looking for an apartment home that actually cares about their residents. read more

This apartment complex was nice but had Managment issues. Many appliances unethically old causing obvious issues.. mold was in my bathroom three years... huh ... first year they damaged my car... when I left I had never paid late, had stayed three years. Was a quiet a great tenant as I am... anyway. They try to keep everyone's deposit no matter what... and I cleaned my unit they tried to charge for cleaning they tried to keep deposit and charge on top of it, and even charged utilities past the date they took possession like 2-3 weeks past that date. They've done a few questionable things like tell tenants to photograph people walking dogs.... Some tenants park 3-4 cars in guest parking and never get in trouble... and it's just ugggghh wow. So idk I stayed three years so two stars.. I liked the trees.. my car windows were never broken my car never stolen.. so "safe" for this area.. sidewalk is kinda an issue No safe way to actually walk out of complex to those stores because sidewalk doesn't exist in parts.... So a little stranded.... Walls thin, water pipes REALLY loud.. but my main issue was me being a great tenant paying early and over for three years. Cleaning up... etc. dealing with the mold etc... then them charging me and keeping deposit at move out. That's not how you treat good tenants. I would have easily recommended them even with issues if they'd just let me go on a good note. But no. I don't think they have a properly trained accountant at FPI or foxburough... idk what the deal is... housing laws say no mold. No appliances after life expectancy and this place doesn't follow those laws.. sometimes they'd fix things without trouble other times they'd push back way too hard I seriously had a smud bill in the $400s for a one bedroom one summer... for months I told foxburough there was a problem they needed to replace the AC or fix HVAC leak because that cost for a one bed is craaazy, I was told for months and months that I was the crazy one basically until I requested a smud meter audit repeatedly. When they techs replaced the AC appliance I was told it was over 30 years old. I was never reimbursed for the extra utility charges caused by FPI/foxburough negligence... I know a lot of apartments run this way.. it's not okay... but I've never stayed at an apt that had issues like this.. then kept my full deposit AND tried to charge me hundreds on top. It was almost comical the gaul... and they apparently do that to everyone good tenants bad tenants alike... why? When I moved in I did wonder why deposit was so "low" I think they think people won't fuss when they keep it without standing reasons at move out idk. I don't get it. I enjoyed living here, but it's definitely not an A+ , simple easy ways to be better and do better. read more

The BEST apartment experience we've ever come across! The office staff is amazing, always so helpful and on top of everything. Huge shout out to the manager, Cristle for the hard work and constantly going above and beyond and to Alex who was so helpful and handy and super responsive. They create the best home environment possible. From food trucks, to holiday giveaways, to family events for all. The apartment itself is BEAUTIFUL and renovated, and the landscape is always so beautifully done. Would 100% recommend for anyone looking for an apartment in the area. I love the hardwood floors and beautiful updated kitchen, not to mention this apartment has SO much storage. I currently like in a 2 bed 2 bath apartment and I love the layout. Our roomate is on the other side of the apartment and not crammed together sharing a wall like most apartments. Outside they have plenty of trees and shade; it's a very pretty area. Stephanie Owens is the assistant community director and is so helpful! She has worked there for a while now and answered my endless questions and is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. This complex has been my home for over three years now and my husband and I couldn't be happier. It's quiet, gated and most importantly, it's safe. The exterior was just recently painted and all of the signs around the property are brand new. The pool furniture has been upgraded and they just built an outdoor grill. So amazing. Cristle, the manager, is the heart and soul of this complex. She is constantly trying to coordinate events to bring our community together. She is knowledge, empathetic and so kind. All of the other staff members are attentive and professional. I absolutely love living here, and I would recommend this complex to anyone and everyone!! read more

I haven't seen any reviews from this place (regardless of the website) that have been posted in the last 1.5 years. So let me give you an up to date review. Everything started off great. My fiance and I spoke with a gal by the name of Michaela who worked in Foxborough's leasing office. She knew we were in a hurry to find a place and that my Fiance and I had been looking for several months at different places in the Citrus Heights area. She told us they had only ONE 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment available, and that was great to hear considering we only needed a one bed one bath. We fill out our Applications on October the 13th and the next day she tells us our Applications are good, and that we can move in on October 18th 2016. She also told us on the day of filling out our Applications that she could not show us the actual unit because someone is still in the process of moving out, but that she could show us a 3D walk through on her computer. After seeing the 3D walk through, she told my Fiance and I that just like in the 3D model, our unit will have BRAND NEW appliances prior to us moving in that have never been used. This was very appealing to us so we walked out of there after turning in our Application happy campers. I receive an email the next day asking if we'd like to see the Apartment to do our actual walk through. Upon entering the Apartment for the walk through Michaela (the leasing agent) states: "Sorry about all the cob webs out here, this apartment has been vacated for a very long time." I immediately thought.. Wait.. you already told us the day we filled out our Applications that we could not see the unit because "the tenant still lives there and has not moved out yet..." and now you're telling us only 48 hours later that the Apartment has been vacated for a really long time? I thought that was odd, chalked it up as a small (but not very major) lie. We enter the unit and the very first thing my Fiance and I noticed is that all the baseboards in the apartment are completely trashed. The base boards were disconnected from the walls by a quarter of an inch, were very nasty looking, and were broken in several areas all throughout the complex. The wood floors were completely scratched up. The cabinets had cracks and holes in them, and the back piece of one of the cabinets was completely torn off exposing the inside of the wall BEHIND the cabinets! Now that I'm typing this review, I wish that I took a picture of the bathtub because it was the most disgusting bathtub I've ever seen. I have lived in Sacramento my entire life (33 years). I've lived in probably 20 or more apartments all throughout the greater Sacramento Area, and this was by far the WORST bathtub ever! But hey, we're all adults here so let's get back to the point. I mention to the agent that the baseboards would need to be replaced. She follows that up with: "We can't replace them, but I'll see if I can have my maintenance guy use some calking to reconnect them to the walls". First off, these baseboards were warped, were damaged, and were NOT simply requiring calking anymore. They needed to be replaced. We also notice that EVERY last appliance in the unit was obviously used despite her telling us only 24 hours prior that all of the "BRAND NEW" appliances have been installed... Crumbs in the fridge, left over food remnants in the microwave, the stove had stains from pots/pans up top of the stove etc. Do I need brand new appliances? I surely do not. However, when you're told you are getting brand new appliances, you EXPECT brand new appliances. The entire time, rather than give me time to notate any of the damages and repairs that would need to be completed prior to us moving in, she spent her entire time trying to talk to my Fiance and I as though we were best friends. She kept taking away from my focus by saying things like "Are you guys getting excited to move in?!" The whole time my Fiance and I were thinking SAVE IT LADY! We leave the walk through and I wasn't sure just yet if I was the only one frustrated with the terrible experience, or if my Fiance was upset as well. As soon as we got in the car the very first thing my Fiance said was "what a nightmare!" I'm glad she felt the same way, because I fully agreed. When we got home, I sent Michaela (the Leasing agent) a very professional email indicating that we were not very pleased about the Walk Through. I even told her that despite all the issues, my Fiance and I could put ALL OF IT TO THE SIDE if they were willing to make the essential repairs prior to us moving in. Mind you we only had 2 more days left until we were supposed to move in. Here I I sit on Tuesday October 18th, (sent her my email 3 days ago) and I have STILL not received an apology, a response, got a return phone call, or ANYTHING! Mind you they still have my $90 dollars for our Application fees, as well as $100.00 dollars for the hold on the Apartment. SCAM!!! read more

Foxborough is a great community! Cristle is amazing and so is the staff, I highly recommend this apartment complex to anyone

I recently helped a family member move in here and so far so good. The apartment, although a bit on the small side, is well laid out, has its own washer/dryer and the grounds are kept very clean and neat. Noise from Antelope Road is pretty low volume and it is pretty quiet at night. Although, they have already had a couple maintenance requests, they were taken care of in a timely manner and the staff here is pleasant. read more

This is now my second time writing a review for this complex! (They are just so amazing honestly!! ) we have been here for almost a year now and we have been sooooo happy here. Cristle and her staff are absolutely incredible. They know everyone by name and they are super responsive. The complex has had some exterior renovations done (paint and new signs) and it looks amazing. You can tell that they care about what the property looks like. I had an issue with my fridge (on a Tuesday night) and I was worried about my food and frozen stuff defrosting and by like 10 am the next morning I had a brand new fridge! I have lived and even worked at other complexes and this is not the norm unfortunately. I just feel so grateful to live here!!! Foxborough staff, you're amazing!!!! Thank you read more

My Brother live there now, he had no problems yet. Great customer service good workers. Everything is clean and tidy. Although they did have a mini flood once due to a shower tub crack. Maintance took at least 2-3 hours to show up, which was kinda funny for Emergency response. Other then that one time they were happy with all and everything these apartments offer. read more

The reason I gave this complex 5 stars is because they are willing to work with you. They have a beautiful interior with a walk in closet, a washer and dryer, a fireplace, a gym and a pool. I saw this unit and I was still deciding. The staff was down to earth, warm, and friendly. The custodian seemed pretty cool too. When I told them I wanted in, they were willing to give me another unit for the same price, even though it was listed higher (since someone took the place already). Then I told them I was not ready to move in, and they asked if I wanted to push the date ahead two weeks. They also offered the same price at either a 6, 8, or 12 month lease. Wow. Unfortunately something came up and I could not move in. Still, Stephanie in the office replied with a friendly reply. If you want a place with real people to rent to that care about their tenants, I truly believe this is the place to be. read more

I had to move from a large home with two children into a apartment. Not an easy transition. I have a child with a neurological diagnosis with sensitivity to noise so I had to look long and hard before deciding where to move. I couldn't be happier. The property is very quiet. Residents are friendly hard working people. Lots of shade from mature trees keeps energy cost low. You would expect to hear your nieghbors in an apartment but the units built well and the people who live here are respectful when it comes to noise. I can barely hear my upstairs neighbors walking about which is suprising for a downstairs unit. The staff is very helpful and responsive to maitence issues. The tempature was 110 the weekend I moved in and the a/c went out while unpacking. Management responded to my after hours call immediately and got maitence out within an hour. The ac unit needed a part that couldn't be replaced until Monday. To my surprise the manager offered for me and my girls to stay in the fully furnished model unit complete with new clean bedding until the ac could be fixed. It is understandable that things happen but I didn't expect the staff to be so caring and on top of maitence issues. I feel safe and at home. Love it here! read more

I hated the idea of moving from a house to an apartment but the staff here are so very friendly and understanding. The tenants are actually very quite, and I never feel like I have to worry about anything happening to my car. Not really the typical apartment environment you would think, much better! The inside of our apartment is nice and people always make positive comments on the space and price. The only reason I gave 4/5 stars is the parking is soo horrible and I have to carry my toddler from all the way across the parking lot to my apartment, and that's with my assigned parking, way too far away. But I would recommend this complex to anyone with a family. read more

I have loved living at Foxborough for the last almost 5 years. Its central to pretty much everything. The staff are beyond awesome! The Girls in the office are so on top of taking care of this place it is so ridiculous. Maintenance keeps this place clean and pretty and in working order. Any issue big or small is addressed immediately. Yesterday I mentioned the lights in my ceiling fan were out and today I came home to light bulbs sitting next to my door. The apartments are well designed and have great features like fireplaces, and full size washers and dryer. You can't say that for a lot of places. Also, being a single girl I feel safe here and always have. My neighbors are great as we watch out for each other. I highly recommend this place to anyone. Its one of the best places in town! read more
