And they do not take care of their staff or treat them with respect which is Unfortunate! If any more of the staff, especially those above mentioned, leave, we will pull our family member out and stop referring others to Brandywine.

It's a lovely place that doesn't feel like an assisted living facility (it feels more like an upscale hotel or a country club but does feel homey) and is well-maintained and clean. She is a former nurse and is very pleased with her care as are her relatives. It's a quiet, clean facility and during visits the nursing staff and aides frequently stop in to see if she needs anything. The food is good. Physical therapy has been twice a day and is effective. I'm writing the review in part because of all the negative reviews. I have heard only good things about Daughters of Israel over the years so all these negative reviews on yelp are puzzling. It is hard enough to find a good facility without being discouraged by these negative reviews.
