Well, it's been over a year. My friend Harry was a patient here in his last few months and they…read moretook great care of him. This time it was my turn. I had been at Oak Hill hospital for some medical problems and found out I had a-fib and they did a lot of tests and then they sent me here and I got Rehab. I'm getting older so they got me a walker. I gotta find some tennis balls for it. They treated me very nice. A lot of the nurses spoke Spanish so I was in heaven because I love learning new words in Spanish. I highly recommend Oak Hill senior living. It's not just a nursing home or a rehab center. It's everything, you can even live here as assisted living patient in a little apartment. Thank you for what you did for me, Oak Hill. I just missed the sweet elderly ladies that I met there. There were anywhere in age from 85 to 99 years old, they were so sweet!!

Tha nursing staff, PT dept, Social work were all professional. With one or two exceptions, the CNA's were uncaring, very slow to respond to call lights, impatient, at times disrespectful, If you or your loved one need more care than changing the sheets or handing you a meal tray. If you'd like help with personal care, kindness and respect do not be admitted here. Perhaps administration should take closer. Looks at who they hire to be a CNA at their facility.

The staff at EverGreen is the best I've ever seen! They are not only attentive to every need of…read moretheir patients but the time and selflessness that I see in them blows me away! I can't thank you all enough for what you do for all of our loved ones.

After careful consideration, I am writing honest review. My husband had a fractured hip and after…read moresurgery was admitted to Evergreen Woods. At first everyone gave me their cards, if we needed anything, but never saw any of them again. supposedly a doctor, but we never saw him either. Supposedly they were going to take all kinds of tests on husband, but it never happened. The backbone of the place is receptionist, Jamie Conely, and she does a job for 12. Can't tell you how many times I called for certain departments, and they never answered, they have no extention for each department, only one number for everything, and no voice mails at extentions.I can't tell you how many times Jamie had to go running down to each department to get something important or have someone answer. Barb Barr, transportation arranger, was also top notch, helped with so many other things outside her job description. A real asset to the facility. The nurses were horrible except one night shift , think name is Amy, Ava, or something close, she was great. the nurse in charge of nurse staff ,actually told my husband and me it was fine for him to get up by himself with no help, WITHOUT a clear from physical therapy. There is absolutely no communication betwe Due to her incorrect assessment, he did take another fall there. The aids were all pretty good and attentive. Susie in physical therapy went above the call of duty to help my husband. Social worker is very helpful but on overload, and too much for one person to handle 120 patients. They ran out of a very important shot to prevent blood clots after surgery, I called and asked why my husband had not had the shot for a couple of days, and the honest nurse or aid, said they had run out and were being ordered to pharmacy, Stacy nurse denied they had run out, THEY DID. Someone did not order. Food was not bad and meals on time. You make your own decision. If you can walk, you will not have near as many problems as we have. Also, no phones in rooms, fall alarms and rooms super small. The choice is yours.

I'd advise making an appointment if you are in a lot of pain or otherwise cannot wait. The waiting…read moreroom was filled but the 45 min. wait time quoted was about accurate. The staff are nice, it is a busy holiday weekend. I had them check on an X-ray from ages ago when I fell down the stoop, and they were able to locate it even though we quoted them the wrong date of service. I'm hoping that the results from the X-ray don't show worse degeneration than I had before. My new orthopedic doctor sent me there after an appointment today. He doesn't know how to help or evaluate me until he gets the results of these x-rays and of bloodwork back. I get so confused by trying to navigate the medical system that I feel like I should hire a medical assistant just to help me keep my appointments , meds and head on straight. Pain and degenerative disease is affecting my memory, or perhaps it's something else. But I don't recognize who I am anymore because of pain and disease. Which leads me to explain, I was very appreciative of how helpful and sweet the x-ray staff is. Particularly Adrian, the x-ray tech. I had broke down crying because it seems to be a "perfect storm" lately of intense bodily pain from the many falls I've had, as well as arthritis, and the heat outside, plus it's coming up on a holiday weekend so the roads and the waiting rooms were extra crowded today. Adrian and the young lady in medical records (I can't remember her name, she had medium to long dark hair and was very sweet as well), made things bearable today.

Plus MRI tech has no bed side manners. I am a 71 year old handicapped female who could not get up from the MRI table without a little help. The tech replied he could not, did not have the physical capabilities, to help me. Thanks, but no thanks. I refuse to come here ever again. By the way the X-ray tech was fantastic.

My husband had been in a rehab associated with a nursing home in Zephyrhills. He was there for…read morerehab. Received a total of 1.25 hours of rehab over the 5days he was there. He came out weaker than when he arrived there. 3 days later he was hospitalized for a fall. I requested Encompass in Brooksville, for a friend highly recommended it. I'm so very glad I followed his recommendation. At Encompass they prove 3 hours/day of rehab. They are a full running hospital so they have their own pharmacy, kitchen, can do wound care if needed to mention a few things offered. The rehab staff are very professional and work well with all learning levels. They did a full evaluation of my husband ( PT OT Speech Cognitive) so to be able to rehab his needs. The nursing care was very good. Meds were given on time and they answered his questions fully. They would check in regularly and made sure he knew his schedule for the day/ upcoming days. We highly recommend this facility and the staff and the staff. If you need rehab come to Encompass if you want to return to your normal functioning status. Nursing home rehabs can't compare to Encompass's standards.
