We stopped here when we visited Silver Springs and the food was decent. Exactly what would be expected at a state park. We got the honey lime chicken sandwich, a few slices of pizza, fries, and a chai latte. The lime chicken sandwich was flavorful and the pretzel bun was a nice touch. The fries, pizza, and chai latte were fine. The ambiance was cute and retro. The service was disappointing as there was one cashier who refused to take any more orders. She had an attitude and someone ended up sending her to a lunch break. When she left, she stormed out of the cafe and pushed a chair in her way. Sad to see this as we had such a great day on the glass bottom boat, exploring the discovery center, and all of the volunteers were AMAZING! I am giving it 3 stars because the food was decent and all of the volunteers we met were so helpful. This one cashier did make the experience unpleasant, but it didn't ruin our day.

Service was amazing. As someone just visiting the area, Amanda gave us great recommendations on attractions and low-key spots around the West coast. I will say the food was average at best. Then again, I did get chicken and waffles instead of a sandwich but the chicken and waffles could've been so much better. The chicken was fresh and crunchy but a bit unseasoned and bland. The waffles were just okay. If I come back, I would definitely get a sandwich

Brisket pita was very good. Good potato chips. Didn't have water available. Nice to sit inside in air conditioning after walking on trail because of heat. Outside seating also. Very nice view of glass bottom boats in springs.

Very good brisket BBQ sandwich. The waffle chips were very crisp. Great sauce. No ice water

The main wall is covered in a variety of doors, which is so different. They had plenty of tables, and they were all full. Rightfully so, since the food was amazing! Their menu was very extensive with a lot of nice options. When our server Sarah came to the table, she read off the daily specials. They had so many specials!! Appetizer specials, drink specials, and the list of dinner specials was pretty long. Must've been at least 5 or 6 of them. I kinda felt sorry for her since it took her a full 5 minutes to go over the specials. They did sound amazing though!! We split an order of the Ahi Tuna Tostones appetizer. Wow was that good. They served 3 tostones with a lot of ahi tuna cubes and they were very flavorful. For dinner, I ordered the Grilled Mahi with fries. Two good size pieces of fish and the fries were very crispy. The Mahi was very moist and had roasted garlic cloves which were so yummy. It also had a small side salad with Brussels sprouts that was tasty. My girlfriends both ordered the Shrimp and Mahi Pasta and said it was very good. The place was packed so make sure you make reservations well in advance. I know for a fact that I will be going back there next time I'm in Crystal River!!

We meant to try this place out before after a recommendation from a couple at church. However, they told us we should go to the Train Station (thought he was referring to the train station in Yellowstone). Of course we looked for the Train Station on Yelp but didn't find one...so we gave up that search. Upon entering, we were greeted warmly and promptly got seated and presented the menu. This place seems more spacious and more updated than the other one we've been to. We both had coffee and water and my wife proceeded to order the Sunrise Skillet with home fries and wheat toast and I tried their CFS Railway. Service was quick and our breakfast was served in no time. My wife liked her breakfast, commenting how it was fresh, flavorful and good portions...she took home some leftovers since she couldn't finish it. My breakfast was equally good, with fluffy eggs and well prepared breaded cubed steak (not ground meat like I've tried at other places). I would've preferred the potatoes to be crispier. All in all, a good breakfast place we'd likely come back to. Fast and friendly service with clean and fresh ambience as well as decent value. Breakfast for 2 with tip came out to just under $39.

A quaint little town northwest of Orlando…read more There's shopping, some nice little restaurants, and a big ol' lake that you can rent a catboat on and drive it around. That's what we did that morning. Ambiance was great. It felt like each little dining area was a different room in a big, semi-haunted mansion. Eclectic books and paintings and mirrors and other baubles adorned much of the walls, making for plenty of looking around time during you meal. Very fun. Service was really good. The pacing of the meal was great, and our server was very friendly. We were always with drink, and she knew the menu backwards and forwards, even the special dishes of the night. As for the food, we went whole hog with two apps, two mains, and a dessert to share. Out of everything we ordered, only one of them remains on the current menu, which is a great sign. I love a rotating, seasonal menu. It shows effort, and it definitely encourages return patronage. We started with the Ciabatta Board (toasted ciabatta, house butter made with sun dried tomato, roasted red pepper, parmesan, garlic, chive). This was nice. It was very sun dried tomato, so if you don't like them, don't get this. But very soft, toasty bread made this very lovely. We also got an escargot app which was very creamy and soup-like. The snails were complimented well by the spinach. And the whole thing came with a nice little breadstick. I saved some of the bread from the board for some sopping. Pro move. For our mains, we got a miso butter New York strip and some sort of Asian themed duck. For both mains, the proteins were cooked very very well, and the portion sizes were a good size compared to what I was expecting. Both sets of taters were good. The mash was very smooth and creamy, the roasted baby potatoes were cooked all the way through and were nice and naturally buttery. Both were served with a seasonal veg mix that was pretty ok. It rounded out the plate, but it won't change your world or anything. We finished off with one of the best slices of cheesecake I've ever had. Incredibly smooth with the perfect cheesecake density, the perfect amount of chocolate chips inside, and a nice little crust that added that little bit of texture that is needed from the crust. Overall, quite a meal! To survive in a small town with these prices and those quality ingredientes and that unique of a menu design is very impressive. I will certainly be back.

Cons: Not a single con. A great little visit. Tips: The menu has completely changed since we went, which is good, so I can't recommend any specific dishes. But the ones I see on the menu now look absolutely banging.
