The store is pretty on the inside and well laid out. I suggest going when you have time to walk up and down each aisle. This trip I got those burgers, brioche buns, frozen yucca chunks, steak, branzino, and a ton of other items that I had not intended on buying, but just couldn't pass on. They also shared that the employee helping me was in her first week, which gave helpful context to the situation. As a kind gesture, they sent me a $10 gift card, which I thought was very thoughtful. When I came back in to use it, they recognized my name from the situation and took the time to talk with me in person and explain everything again. That really meant a lot and showed how much they care about their customers. Customer service and communication go a long way, and I'm grateful for the way they handled everything. Are latin american desserts ever that good though? Not really. So, par for the course there, I guess. My kids also picked out some packaged chocolate cookies that, come to find out, expired two months ago. They still ate them. My overall feeling is that I'm happy to see and support small local markets. Does this one hit it out of the park? No. But it was clean, tidy, and fun to shop in. Yelp rating 4/5: Good.
