They've got the meats! LOL This is my favorite place to shop for meat, fish, seafood, and some hard to find and unique frozen foods and dessert. Wild Fork has better prices on high quality meats than other grocery stores. Their triple blend burgers (brisket, chuck, and short rib) are restaurant quality and reasonably priced. They also have some items you rarely find in America like ground Ostrich. I haven't tried it, but I'm open to it. The staff is friendly and always available to help or answer questions. The store is pretty on the inside and well laid out. I suggest going when you have time to walk up and down each aisle. Even though I have a list, it takes me a while to decide on what I'll buy because they have so much to offer. This trip I got those burgers, brioche buns, frozen yucca chunks, steak, branzino, and a ton of other items that I had not intended on buying, but just couldn't pass on. They do have some nice sales as well! This location is in a shopping center with plenty of parking. The store is medium size, but it will take you a while to get through all the interesting offerings. read more

My wife went for a long browse and shop today. What a cool store, with awesome grocery food options, especially meats. Wild is truth! Healthy stuff, tasty (just had the cod and mixed vegetables), and the prices are very reasonable! Surprised. Definitely will be going back regularly. I'm really glad I finally decided to check this place out. I love the concept of flash-freezing meats to lock in freshness--such a smart way to preserve quality. While it's not a huge store, it's packed with great deals. Everything is top quality, and I feel completely confident purchasing here. What really impressed me is the variety--they carry a huge selection of meats, including some exotic cuts you don't often see. I was housebound this past weekend (meaning, no vehicle) but wanted to surprise my husband with something special so I decided to give Wild Fork delivery a shot. I ordered a grass fed rib eye, short ribs, gravlax, sweet Italian sausage, and mild Italian sausage. I can't give everything 5 stars. The short ribs were way better than expected - I read lots of complaints about them being all fat, but mine were fantastic. We made a dinner out of them and used the leftovers to chop up into scrambled eggs this week for breakfast. The only issue I had there was that they come in a bag that is not vacuum sealed, so they looked really freezer burned and dry. I guess if the flavor was good, they were fine? But they really should consider vacuum sealing these. The rib eye was not as red as it should have been. It seemed a bit brown, as though it had slightly oxidized before being vacuum sealed. And it was very small, only 12 ounces. I expected at least a pound. Lox was very flavorful, albeit a bit leathery/dry. Again, like the rib eye, it seems like it was a bit oxidized before being vacuum sealed. Sausages were good - as long as you vacuum seal sausage, it's fine frozen and really just a matter of personal taste. Ordering and delivery process were easy and efficient. No complaints there. I will definitely try them again, with a keen eye on reviews of specific products so I know what to expect. read more

Obsessed!!!!!!! You can't get everything you need here but it's a great option for specialty and good quality frozen meats. I love their diverse selection. I honestly love coming in weekly just to see the new items and sales. They always have a sale going on something. Everyone is always so friendly and welcoming. First order - they forgot one smaller item, but charged me anyway. They made good on it though. Second time - they forgot a larger item - a big steak. Whoever the customer service guy is - he's not very good at customer service. Both my orders were in the hundreds of dollars and he chose to take no action on the second order. He told me too much time had passed. My daughter and I actually keep a journal on all of our grilled meats as we cook them. That's how I realized they had shorted me a second time. The first time was a $6 item. The second time was a $25 item. I voted on this man's customer service skills with my wallet and will never order from them again. As far as the quality of the meats - the bacon was ok, a couple of the high dollar steaks were just ok. Nothing to write home about - or - to Yelp about the quality. There are several other butcher shops you can check-out in a 3 mile radius. I think Market Street is even better than Wild Fork. read more

I ordered for someone else and then for me. I ordered the peeled Brazilian beef sirloin, Chateaubriand and Ribeye filets. We had the ribeye filets this week and they were incredible. Tender, flavorful and just the right size. My husband and I split one because they were so large. It was marginally more expensive than the grocery store and it is so far above supermarket beef I am happy to pay more. It was shipped very quickly and in great packaging. This is an amazing meat market with a large variety of choices. Everything is flash frozen, but when you thaw and prepare the meats nothing noticeable is missing from the texture or flavor. There are also frozen veggies and fries at reasonable prices. I love the frozen yucca and the packaged shots of turmeric and ginger they sell. Check Wild Fork out. read more

HOLY CRAP WHERE HAS THIS STORE BEEN!!! If you close your front door and instantly become Gordon Ramsey, throwing flour on your fresh made pasta before hanging it on the $39.00 Amazon Choice pasta drying rack while you consider, "Tomato or Jerk" for the Oxtails you just brought home from Wild Fork. Ok, so just me? That's ok too. This place is my new home. While planning my weekly Mediterranean Diet plan for my wife (medical reasons), I stumbled over an add for the Grand Opening of this store and they had EVERYTHING on my protein list. Every type of fish (whole Sole, Ahi Tuna, Hake, and Sea Bream for me) was there and the quality was top notch!!!! Tonight we splurged on 17 day dry aged Angus Beef 1 1/2 inches thick. Eat your heart out Gordon. The service in this store is beyond helpful without having that "someone is lurking" thought every line cook working for any Chef has had. Take it from me, you can apply and me the next Master Chef or you can shop where today and toast with me using a beautiful piece of Beef. P.S. Look at those steaks! I mean....really? Holy Cow indeed. I don't know... I shop here a lot but just found out they are owned by JBS foods (one of the biggest meat packers in the country). I like the grass fed beef options, but when I asked about mRNAs in their meat they didn't provide a real answer. They gave the same "they aren't licensed for use response" that the industry put out after Missouri testimony confirmed they are in use. I'll report back if I get a clear cut answer. Still cautiously shopping... but might switch. read more

Great app. I live in Austin and order through the app and get my meat delivered next day from Dallas. They do flash freezing at the perfect time (aged for some meats and super fresh for others depending on the type of meat) and box it up with dry ice to keep it frozen. All I know is the meat thaws out perfectly fresh tasting. No way to tell it's been frozen. And the beef seems a couple weeks aged which is perfect for my preference. The cost is the same as going to the grocery store here if you have the low cost yearly free shipping membership except I can get a lot more selection and the grass fed stuff isn't bitter like the bitter grasses they feed the cattle in some of the Austin and San Antonio areas. My brother in law has been to the stores in Dallas and he says they are clean and nice. read more

I eat enough steak to confidently say I offset the impact of 4-5 vegans, so I feel I'm well qualified to say the quality of product they offer here is fantastic. Both myself and friends of mine in the culinary industry jump at the opportunity to recommend this place to friends and family. You will not find meat of this quality at the same prices anywhere else, which I assume must be thanks to their deep freezing process eliminating spoilage and passing those saving on to the consumer. Soooooo cool! I recently got into smoking meat and wanted to get some fun options to try smoking. I picked up a brisket, some sea food mixes, some chicken wings and chicken breast as well as some seasoned ribs. Only negative is everything in the store is frozen so you can't do the "fold test" on brisket or anything else you want to feel to know how tender it will be. Our first trip to Wild Fork did not disappoint. Make no mistake, it's all about the protein. Yes, they have vegetables, but the real draw is their meats ... Meats of every kind, domestic and game ... fish and fowl. Everything is frozen and I would have rated 5 stars, had not I noticed just a few items that appeared to be freezer burned. But, overall, everything is well laid out, well marked, and the prices seem to be very reasonable. The ambiance was excellent. The store was clean and well organized. Prices were clearly posted. The service was excellent and the cashier periodically walked the aisle to see if anyone had any questions. He was friendly and knowledgable. read more

Nice store, good location, well lit and clean. I did buy a few items, prices aren't super low but the selection is good. The reason for my 2 stars is the customer service. I specifically drove from Bedford to get a hormone free turkey for Thanksgiving. They were out of everything turkey, no breasts, whole turkey, roasts, nothing. So I chose a few other items and went to check out. When the cashier asked if I had an account with them I told him no, it's my first time here. He then asked if I found everything I needed. I said well actually I came for turkey but you're sold out. He replied, and I'm quoting here, "Oh we have some in the back but haven't put them out yet. Come back tomorrow". Well I'm sorry sir but people have to work. I cannot come back tomorrow. Good customer service would have been "we have some in the back, what piece are you needing I'll run and grab one for you". It was not busy, there was one other customer in the store and three employees that I saw. Service is important to me and for that reason I won't be shopping here again. read more

It's an interesting shopping experience but I'm one and done. Not impressed with the Bison ribeye. Elk medallions we're ok. The scallops were good. Costs too much to get a 1/4 inch thick bison ribeye. read more

Great selection of pretty much every protein you could imagine. Ribs, sausage, chicken, brisket, steaks, etc. It's ALL frozen though so unless you're planning to cook that ribeye from frozen you won't be swinging by here to grab dinner for the night. read more
