I've stayed in this area twice while driving through El Paso and have felt super safe while staying. The area is nice with plenty of options for shopping & dining if needed. The check in process was super easy and their free breakfast was good too. The room was super clean, spacious, and upgraded. Keep in mind that they are doing construction through Fall 2026. Luckily it didn't affect our stay, but I believe the hours of potential disruption are 9am-6pm Monday-Saturday. Overall, this was a great stay and we would highly recommend. read more

My 2nd time here, first was 2 months ago...for that visit I'd say 4*. This time they tried to charge me $10 parking fee I complained the dropped it. The breakfast buffet, was just eggs...no potatoes, no meat--not ham or bacon or sausage. no oranges. not many tea choices. This was a really comfortable and pleasant stay :) ! It was my second time staying at this Springhill Suites Marriott location :) ! The entire staff from the front desk employees, Memo and Andy, to housekeeping and also the breakfast staff were really awesome :D !! Special shoutouts to both Memo and Andy who went above and beyond to help me out as well :D !! I stayed here for four nights during this particular trip :) ! I had an early appointment on the morning following the fourth evening. I envisioned it might be a scramble and flurry to get my stuff and my luggage out, and also get my early meeting on time. So I requested a late check-out because of these reasons! Memo and Andy really helped me out and relieve me by allowing me to check out late for that morning when I asked the day before for this. Suggestions for management: put bags in the trash cans in the room; remove air freshener from fitness center; conduct mold inspections in the showers; replace air filters in HVAC units. Recently I was on an out-of-state vacation when suddenly my phone died. Permanently. As in I had no printed directions, maps, atlases, etc. And no way to call anyone. I was in Texas and finally ended up getting some helpful directions from the woman at the Abilene CVB who got me headed in the right direction. I was looking for a hotel in El Paso for the night. I called to cancel my LaQuinta Inn reservation for a different town on a different night because of my situation and asked if they had any in El Paso. She said they did and she made me a reservation. When I arrived, however, it was a totally horrible and scary hotel. I won't go into all the gory details except to say that I realized I was not staying there that night if I could help it. I drove around a bit and found a SpringHill Suites by Marriott, and amazingly (at 9 p.m.) they had a room available! I booked it on the spot and canceled the other hotel. The SpringHill was absolutely lovely, the bed extremely comfortable, the suite a nice roomier setup, just wonderful. Included hot breakfast was very nice. I would definitely stay here again if I am passing through the area. I have previously stayed in some other SpringHills, and they have been very nice overall. read more

What would you do if you're me? I've booked a standard room with 2 queen beds and sofa bed. When I show up to check in, they did not mention to me that they're out of room and they decided to put me in a handicapped room, this is the whole reason why we picked this hotel since it showed online that it is a standard room. We requested to switch but they said it is their only room left. They refused to do refund and basically told us this is the room they have whether we like it or not..fortunately hotels.com agent was able to help me credit the balance within the app. I hope this review reaches the person in charge, but it is because of this situation caused a big fight between me and my husband and ended my birthday miserably! (The reason my husband doesn't like to stay in handicapped room because it's reminded him of hospital & we're hoping to stay in a nice hotel to celebrate my birthday) read more

This hotel apparently has a little sign on the side of the front desk saying they don't allow food delivery. I'm blind and this was not mentioned at check in. I ordered pizza for dinner, it was delivered to the front desk but the guy working never called me. I called the pizza place and told them my order had never been delivered so they sent it again and left it at the desk. I again waited. Finally after 2 and a half hours I called the pizza place again. They told me the front desk had it. So I make my way to the front desk and the guy laughs at me when I told him what was going on. Stopped by for one night. Was able to get a government discount rate however had our dog with us which was $100 per cleaning fee. One night cost us $250 which was high. Breakfast buffet served which was standard for any hotel. Room was cleaned. The ac made this hideous loud noise when it shuts off so hard to sleep. read more

I decided that the condo I was staying in was too far from where my boyfriend was staying with his mother in the hospital. So I called these folks for a room for tonite, asked for early check-in for today (they gave me the keys at 9:30 am), asked for late check-out tomorrow (2 pm) so Alex could cleanup before we fly home and, of course, a low rate ($98 AAA), which they never asked me to verify. Got all I wanted plus a very kind note and nice gifts. It's not a 5 -star hotel but it's acting like one. I will not forget this kindness Marriott. The story gets better. When I returned here last night After 11, I asked the front desk person about breakfast. He said it was a full breakfast with eggs and lots of hot items. I asked if they had "to go" boxes because I would want to get back to the hospital quickly. He then asked if I needed breakfast before the 7 am start because he would be happy to put something together for me to take with me very early. I was looking for a non sketchy hotel and found this little gem via Priceline. It was a first staying with this chain and it rocks! The room was spacious and cozy like a studio apt. Good breakfast with all the hot fixin's like waffles, sausages and cheese omelettes while including the cold fixins of fruit and cereals. Best breakfast value! I may be biased, as I stayed at my for Springhill suites in Edinburg Texas. The service was so amazing, I wrote Marriott and the president of the hotel group that owned that specific property. Easter weekend provided us the opportunity to head to the border. We reserved our room online and this is actually my second time staying at this hotel nestled in northwestern El Paso. The area is quite with your locals shopping or eating at the nearby restaurants and it is in close proximity to IH-10. The rooms are clean, spacious, comfy beds, free wifi and offers free breakfast buffet the next morning filled with bacon, eggs. Waffles, cereal and pastries. Staff kepr moving it to "20mins/40mins/45 Mins". we have been traveling for hours waiting to get to our hotel room To be told it would be hours until we are able to lay down and rest. staff was not helpful as we "boooked through a third party" so there's nothing they can do to help than cancel our reservation. clearly, they lack some common sense if our reservation have been there for weeks, we are hungry and tired and the only help I got was "cancel" the only hotel that was promised to be done at such time. Common sense is not part of this hotel for sure, so we got here at 3pm and had to wonder through El Paso for hours until being able to have a freaking rest. The only reason i wont give the 5 stars is because they were serving breakfast in a very rude manner. maybe because they were mad cuz of alot of people. but if your going to accept a soccer tournament to check in. u know there is going to be alot of people eating breakfast. you need to have a plan ready to get the lines going quickly. other than that the rooms were very clean and very organized. registration and check out went smoothly. i also heard the cleaning ladies say "k cochinos los muchachos dejaron un cochinero". that means that my players were nasty and left a mess. but as the coach i made sure no mess was left. anyways i aint mad but employees need to be careful on what they say. business is all about customer satisfaction. but overall i would stay again. nice place and good price for my team. read more

Another Marriott family suite hotel, located on the fairly suburban side of El Paso. This one is adjacent to its sister hotel, the Fairfield Inn. This location has decent amenities, including an outdoor pool and hot tub, an enhanced continental breakfast, and a room layout that features either a king bed (best rate) or two queens (highest rate) with a desk and separate seating area. The bar area in front of the room includes a microwave, fridge, and a sink, and the bathroom is sensibly separated from the closet and bathroom sink, unlike the illogical set up we encountered at the Springhill in Flagstaff. Hey, there's even a full length mirror. Where this hotel loses points for me is in cleanliness, for one, because the bathroom tiles had dirty floor and shower grout and caulking, and the carpeted corners in the room looked unclean. As another reviewer noted, the sheets and towels are worn and dingy, and I'll add that so are the bedspreads. The beds are comfortable, however, and the price was reasonable at around $125/night. We had AC problems in the middle of the night in August, when it started switching back and forth between AC and heat and smelled like it was on fire. There's no setting for this, so I just turned it colder and hoped it would keep cooling. Not a restful night. The desk manager wasn't very friendly or helpful when we had questions about our stay or our rewards program, but I will say that the entire staff seems to be fluent in Spanish. Lots of international travelers flowing both ways across the border here because it's right next to Juarez. It was my first time staying overnight in El Paso, but I might try to find something in nearby Las Cruces, New Mexico next time to see if it's a little less hectic. read more

I'm a platinum elite Marriott member and have stayed over 150 nights in Marriott's this year. I have seen my share of hotels and I have stayed in all 3 Marriott properties here in El Paso. I think they all have different perks. This is a great and SAFE location. Walmart is across the street as is a Cinemark movie theater and a classic MUST VISIT Mexican restaurant, Leo's. Its on Tue west side of town which is a bit of a drive (for El Paso) to downtown, etc. You can take 54 through the mountains for a scenic drive or to avoid crazy traffic. I stayed here for 2 weeks and had a great stay. Workout facilities are a bit lacking compared to others, but the jacuzzi and pool are quite nice. There is a Fairfield in the same parking lot for a different look that has free breakfast. read more

This hotel has lost the "new factor". Which is to be expected after time. I have been staying here twice a year since this property opened and this was the first time it felt a bit run down. Towels are no longer bright white and fluffy. Paint is drab and walls have holes in them. This property also charges for toiletries that are typically complimentary. This place opened up a couple of years ago. And we were one of the first guest the hotel had. So, on our trip back to California we stopped again, because it was a nice place and we prefer to stay at SpringHill suites because they are constantly nice. Well, I am sorry to report that this nice new hotel just a couple years ago has lost its appeal. The hotel clerk was not customer service friendly, I dealt with her twice. The shower in our room didn't work right and the wall paper is peeling among other maintenance problems that should be addressed. To top it off, the pool was freezing, we had stopped at many hotels and enjoyed the heated pool, but this place just couldn't manage to do that. So enjoying the pool was out. Yeah I know El Paso is hot, but it was May. Staying somewhere else next time. read more

As a Marriott Rewards member I'm fairly curtain I will not be staying at this hotel again, the attendant was unprofessional and when our card declined from a fraud alert (traveling out of state) he treated us poorly and with lack of respect, assuming we didn't have the funds to cover the trip. I have stayed at SpringHill Suites exclusively through out the years with over 1900 hotel stays for business and am now convinced this is not the place for me going forward. This is probably one of the better Fairfield hotels I've been to. I've been to some Fairfields that had completely terrible room quality. The room was very clean and the carpet looked new. Weeding out the good Marriott properties over the Internet can be hard. This one is clean, but built like a cheap trailer. The towels and bedsheets are old and browning. The walls so thin I could hear the guy on one side snoring and the other side fighting. The faucets are coated with gunk and and the shower head pulls out of the wall. This hotel is so hospitable and the staff are fantastic. They went above and beyond, and the suite was also very clean and nice. Furthermore the low cost was the cherry on top. I must mention Melissa, who took care of personally printing documents for me, set me up with a care package, and an early breakfast to-go bag before the continental breakfast even open. This place doesnt even deserve one star,first everything started off ok,we called ahead of time to beable and get a room that evening. Once we got to our room we were really tired from our drve,it was already almost midnight,we went in and went to use the restroom and thats when we noticed the shower water knob laying on the back of the comode,so we went to show the man at the front desk and after awhike he finally found us a room to move too. Told us our total was going to be the same as the other room. Now a couple days later they took more than was quoted to us out of my banking account and now im over drawn. When called about why they are trying to tell us that we took some blowdryer wich was never there to began with among other things. Usually a great Marriott stay but this Springhill Suites had really dirty showers. The front of the heating and cooling unit beneath the window was falling off (forward, top to bottom) and the filter needed cleaning. One could tell by the dusty smell when you arrived in the room. Also, what's up with the REALLY grey towels (not all of them; a few)? The top decorative cover for the bedding was greying also. HOW DISAPPOINTING! Otherwise, the rest of the room was okay. Room was very clean and the bed and pillows are very comfortable. I even chose to use their pillow instead of my own! The breakfast was very fresh and a wide array of food.
