Welcoming, modern lobby/counter!
Tim H.

GREAT SPOT whether in El Paso for a few days, or a few weeks. Modern design, with plenty of square feet, for an affordable price. Every spot of this location is clean, whether in your room, having breakfast in the lobby, tanning at the pool or hot tub, getting a work out in their gym, or just snacking next to the counter! All staff was kind, and I appreciated the late checkout they have.

I decided that the condo I was staying in was too far from where my boyfriend was staying with his mother in the hospital. So I called these folks for a room for tonite, asked for early check-in for today (they gave me the keys at 9:30 am), asked for late check-out tomorrow (2 pm) so Alex could cleanup before we fly home and, of course, a low rate ($98 AAA), which they never asked me to verify. Got all I wanted plus a very kind note and nice gifts. It's not a 5 -star hotel but it's acting like one. I will not forget this kindness Marriott. The story gets better. When I returned here last night After 11, I asked the front desk person about breakfast. He said it was a full breakfast with eggs and lots of hot items. I asked if they had "to go" boxes because I would want to get back to the hospital quickly. He then asked if I needed breakfast before the 7 am start because he would be happy to put something together for me to take with me very early. I declined that kindness but will also remember it.

I was looking for a non sketchy hotel and found this little gem via Priceline. It was a first staying with this chain and it rocks! The room was spacious and cozy like a studio apt. Good breakfast with all the hot fixin's like waffles, sausages and cheese omelettes while including the cold fixins of fruit and cereals. Best breakfast value! I would definitely come back to this place again.

This is the sitting area in the guestrooms. It's nice, and contemporary, the rooms are clean.

The property is nice they have a small gym but doable. They do provide breakfast. But I would say the service is adequate. It's not great. I may be biased, as I stayed at my for Springhill suites in Edinburg Texas. The service was so amazing, I wrote Marriott and the president of the hotel group that owned that specific property. Just really went out of their way. The staff here seems like they are doing you a favor by waiting on you. It's OK

Starting the weekend in El paso TX. lets win this tourney!!

Hotel is not allergy friendly. They bake cookies with nuts. With no sign on door or notice on website. Front desk is rude.

The kitchenette is sufficient to longer stays. Front desk staff weren't always at the front desk and in the back but when I went to the front desk, they noticed me immediately. But one lady wasnt the most friendly. The bad...as i mentioned i went to the front desk a few times. My keycard would stop working randomly. It was extremely frustrating. It happened to me 3 times in my 2 nigjt stay. There were crumbs outside in the hallway in front of my door upon my arrival. I stayed 2 nights, the crumbs were there upon my departure which tells me the staff doesnt vacuum daily or even every other day. The food in the morning was cold and dry. I arrived at midnight via Uber from the airport so I just wanted to go shower and straight to bed. I was hungry the next morning. The waffle maker timer is broken so I had to estimate how long is was cooking my waffles before I noticed it wasnt counting down. Lastly, there was a bug in my room...ill stop short of identifying it as a roach but ive attached a photo.

When we had our room cleaned nothing was vacuumed. The WiFi seems to not even exist at times. And the pool looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a hot minute; bugs, hair and debris. The happy hour that they have from Monday - Wednesday is a nice touch but wish it was the whole week. They serve wine, beer and food. The front desk staff who is sometimes there, are very nice and friendly.

We have family in El Paso to stay with, but absolutely cannot pass up an opportunity to keep coming back to Embassy. This trip was sadder than most as we were dealing with second funeral this year . A huge shout out to the night (manager?) concierge Cynthia Martin, she was the nicest most sincere person, but she truly made the hotel welcoming when we got in at 3 AM. Everybody at Embassy suites is very nice, but Miss Martin truly went out of her wayto express her condolences. We had a great time at the pool and enjoy our breakfast every morning but again Cynthia Martin really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.

The gentleman working the breakfast area was incredibly kind and frequently checked on guests. The manager (jet-black hair and a big black mustache) was also very friendly and welcoming. There's a Starbucks right in the parking lot. The lobby and exterior were attractive and well-maintained. You can tell someone takes pride in the property's appearance. Unfortunately, the guest rooms told a different story. Our first night was spent in a double queen room where the towels smelled strongly of mildew and the heater took forever to warm the room. For the remainder of our stay, we moved into a king suite with a rollaway bed. Initially I was excited. More space, bigger bed, huge closet, and even a balcony! Then reality set in. The balcony was filthy and the view wasn't exactly something I'd call scenic. The bathroom doorknob was broken, the bathroom door didn't fit properly in the frame, and the ceiling was actually coming down. Every time the door opened or closed it scraped against the ceiling. There was also a leak under the sink, forcing us to use our bath towels to soak up water. The biggest disappointment, however, was the housekeeping staff. Several employees appeared visibly irritated when we declined room service early one morning. One employee became noticeably upset and began loudly speaking in Spanish while looking directly at me. When I asked if there was a problem, the answer was "No." Whether there was a misunderstanding or not, the interaction felt uncomfortable and unprofessional. I reported it to the front desk, but it seemed to be brushed aside. Overall, the hotel staff at the front desk and breakfast area were wonderful, but the condition of the room and the housekeeping experience overshadowed the positives.

There were definitely some highlights: the restaurant was excellent, and the orange juice was genuinely some of the best I've ever had. The valet service was fantastic as well--I never had to worry about parking, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. The gym was also well-equipped, with towels provided, a good variety of equipment, and even a Pilates machine. Unfortunately, my experience with the front desk staff, particularly a morning employee named Edgar, left a very negative impression. On more than one occasion, I returned to the hotel and stood outside the entrance for 15-20 minutes waiting to be let in. He had seen me leave earlier and could clearly see me waiting at the door, yet made no effort to assist. Beyond that, his overall demeanor came across as passive-aggressive and unwelcoming. It's disappointing because the rest of the property and staff were great, and I genuinely enjoyed many aspects of my stay. However, customer service at the front desk is a major part of the guest experience, and this behavior was completely unacceptable. I would consider staying here again, but management should address this issue if they want guests to feel welcomed and valued.

The only issue I had was the room I was staying in had a biiiig window and outside that window was the bar and lobby and till about 11PM there was a massive caravan of people drinking and chatting the night away. I am a light sleeper (DIVA) and had this gone on any later it would have been a real issue but things pretty much completely simmered down by 11 and I got a great nights sleep. Honestly the room bordering the bar/lobby will probably keep me from coming back but all and all the staff and place is pretty lovely. They seem to have rooms that don't have this issue.

Any outside noise was muffled and didn't bother us, which I appreciate. The complimentary breakfast was great. They had diy waffle makers, cereal, bagels and bread for toast, and yogurt.
