I'm really pleased that I chose the SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Las Cruces, New Mexico--it's been a fantastic stay! The staff is super friendly and genuinely welcoming from the moment you arrive. The hotel is in a nice, quiet neighborhood, which makes it feel safe and relaxing. Everything is impeccably clean, and the whole place smells fresh and inviting--no musty odors or anything off-putting, which is huge for me since I care a lot about cleanliness and good smells. I noticed so many thoughtful little details that show the management really knows what they're doing and pays attention to guest comfort. One standout feature is the shower setup: the handle is positioned on the side instead of right under the showerhead. It's such a smart design--when you turn it on and wait for the water to heat up, you don't get blasted with cold water or accidentally soaked. Super convenient and practical! Plus, they're pet friendly and don't charge extra fees for small pets, which is a huge bonus if you're traveling with a furry companion. Damages, stains on carpet, rust, hard water crust all over faucets and rooms not kept up.. Conveniently located, the Springhill Suites property is clean and well-maintained. No one of the newer properties however, it has been extensively remodeled with all the contemporary creature comforts. We were pleasantly greeted at the front desk and immediately got to a room. The rooms are large, and well laid out to include work areas, seating area, and a little galley kitchenette area. Property does include a swimming, pool, a fitness center, and a laundry facility. We wanted to do laundry while we were here and found out the laundry equipment was rather outdated and small. Previous stays at other properties included commercial machines with an app that you could utilize to pay for the laundry; due to the small size of the machines, the laundry ended up being quite costly and took extensive amounts of time to dry. Be careful with this hotel. They rent our rooms to you and without your knowledge or consent they re rent your room to someone else while you are still there and give them full access to your room. Both parties involved were both charged the full amount of $577 each.. numerous excuses were given that they could not reverse the charges. Las Cruces PD had to get involved because when confronted no one wanted to speak to me. When I filed a fraud report they banned me from the premises. The GM that refused to speak me only would talk to the officer was so rude and snobby as if I had done something wrong. They are scamming people. The Las Cruces PD informed me that a lot of complaints about unnecessary charges were complained against that hotel. Never again will I do business with Springhill Marriott. 1 star was given because no stars was not an option!!!!!!!! read more

I just stayed one night but it was a good stay. I like the room layout it's unusual but pretty cool and ergonomic I think. When you walk in the room on one side against the wall are the beds and a couch facing a television on the other side of the room when you first walk in out there is a little kitchenette area and a desk. Move towards the center of the room there's a closet area with the long mirror. Moved to the latter third of the room and there is a bathroom with a sliding door. No extra doors in the way of anything. Just a really smart layout. Cooling system worked really well. The whole hotel is nicely maintained. Good free breakfast with real eggs and bacon. Nice pool area which I did not use. Also did not use the gym. This is a convenient location right by I-10. My room was facing I-10 but I did not hear anything. 10/24/24 - We were headed to San Diego,CA from Rowlett, TX and our first stop was in Las Cruces, NM for the night. My dad and I thought this was a good stopping point on our drive; however, we got into Las Cruces pretty early, around 4pm and we could have driven a couple more hours. In any case, we did stop here for the night. It is right off the freeway and if you are using Waze are your navigation, you'll be sure to get to the right place. Since it was pretty early, we were able to check into our room and grab some dinner. NOTE: In my Marriott profile, I have listed close to the elevator, because dad is 86 years old and doesn't walk as well as he used to. The room was way at the other end of the hall and around the corner from the elevator...at least 10 doors down, which is pretty far. Upon check in to our room 207, I believe, dad was checking out the TV and it did not work. He asked me to check it and sure enough it did not work. I told him, it should be easy enough to figure out, I mean we're not that dumb. LOL! Anyways, I was going to call down to the front desk, but there was no phone in the room. I mean come on, no phone in the room? That was very puzzling. I had asked the front desk guy if he had any recommendations on mexican food in the area and he recommended La Posita or something like that...I will review shortly. Dad and I went out to dinner, but before that we went down to the front desk to let them know the tv was not working and there is no phone in the room. He asked if he can go check it out and we said it was okay. Dad and I went out to dinner and came back and he said that indeed the TV was broken and there was no phone in the room, because it was not suppose to be in service. I mean SHIT (sorry for my language), if the room should have been out of service, then you probably shouldn't have that available for anyone to sleep in. He shouldn't have had to ask if I wanted to move rooms (HELLO - if the TV wasn't working and there is no phone in the room - do you think I would want to stay there?) He went ahead and changed our room to 109 which was down the hall from the front desk and near the dining room (for free breakfast in the morning). Dad and I are pretty early risers, so we were able to grab some hot breakfast and coffee and get started on our drive to San Diego. Upon check out there was a younger lady at the front desk, that should not be at the front desk, because when I said hello she just looked at me. For me, you are in a customer service oriented position, you better be fucking chipper and nice and say hello, otherwise, I will look for another place that values my patronage! Overall, the room was comfortable for the few hours we needed to get some rest. Oh one last note, there are ice machines on floor 1 & 3. The ice machine on floor 1 is down the hall and towards the left hallway (at the end of the building). I needed ice for my water bottle and when I went down there to get ice, it did not work. I told the guy that it was not working and he proceeded to tell me there is one on the 3rd floor. I am not going to the 3rd floor to get ice, when there's no ice on the 1st floor. The family and I decided to take a trip from San Antonio to Anaheim to go see Mickey Mouse. As everyone knows, it takes a full day alone just to get out of the Lone Star state, so an overnight stay is required. My usual stop in El Paso was not an option for some odd reason. Who knew El Paso was so popular. I digress... We looked online via the Marriott app and landed on this Springhill. The app shows it to be a 4 star hotel, and the pictures look nice. So, we booked. After our long day, we pulled into the parking lot. The location of the hotel was not very appealing, as the only thing around was a McDonald's and an Applebees. The exterior of the hotel was very unappealing to the eye, in dire need of a facelift. I walked into the hotel and was greeted by a fella named Richard. Nice guy, got me booked in quickly. I walked to the one elevator to go inspect my quarters for the evening. Along the way, I noticed old carpet, and an old hotel. Once I arrived at the elevator, I noticed the gold door was tarnished with black residue all over the doors. I boarded the elevator and went up. My elevator slowed to a stop for floor 3. As the elevator came to a stop, I heard some creaks, and then it came to a very violent stop. The whole elevator shook, with the doors rattling, and the ceiling fixtures making a lot of noise. I thought I was going to die. I exited quickly, thanking God I was not dead. I went to my room to inspect. Upon opening the door, the room was very clean. There were two small beds much smaller than a queen. Smelled decent, so I decided retrieve the family. I boarded the death trap and descended down to the bottom floor. I convinced myself the elevator shake was not every time. I will give the benefit of the doubt. I approached the front desk to request a luggage cart just to be told the hotel only had one, and it was out for use. I retrieved my family and we unloaded our van. We were going to have to have to make numerous trips. So, we made our way to the death trap and ascended up to our room. The elevator again came to a violent shaking stop. My wife thought we were going to die. My daughter said, "Dad, that was a lot scarier than the Guardians of the Galaxy ride. I'm not going to get in that elevator ever again." For those unsure of what I'm talking about, this ride she refers to is formerly the "Tower of Terror" that simulates a broken elevator in a haunted hotel. Which currently is still a ride in Disneyworld. We got to the room, and dropped our stuff. The bathroom was very small, and was filthy with old hair on the floor. So, no showers for us that night. The wife and I made a few more trips up and down to unload the van, thankful we were not hurt on the death trap. When we settled down for the evening, the beds were like sleeping in a shoebox, and were very uncomfortable. The wife and I had to alternate on the couch as the bed was not big enough for two, and we struggled to sleep. After some moving around and shuffling, we managed to get about 3 hours of sleep. These rooms definitely need bigger beds. Double queens at the bare minimum. Quit cutting corners, as a hotel's main purpose is sleep. The next morning we were up early, loaded, and on the road early. Thank goodness the ONE luggage cart was open. The kiddos refused to help since the elevator scared them, and they took the stairs. The "breakfast" looked pretty pathetic, so we opted to skip it and grab Mickey Dee's next door. I absolutely do not recommend this dump. It's a shame Marriott would hang their name on this place. I should have just drove straight to California since I was not going to sleep anyhow. Pffft... read more

Very disappointing Marriott property. The rooms are very worn down, the threshold at the door into the room has a different carpet, and they are not sealed with the hallway carpet so it traps a lot of dirt, and the wheels of my suitcase got stuck in the entryway. The on-site laundry room only has one working washing machine and one working dryer, and the front desk does not provide you with change, as that's all the machine takes. They suggest you go to the Circle K across the street and get change. There is no Bank apparently close by to get quarters either. The gentleman at the front desk was very polite, but again would like to have quarters for the washing machine as he already knew that this was an issue that other guests had brought up ! The breakfast was below average- there were no plates available only bowls this was at 7 AM so I had to squeeze a waffle into a bowl and then pull it apart to dip in syrup because there was no other way to eat it. The bacon looked way undercooked-and the fruit was only apples, bananas and oranges. No fresh cut. Very disappointing! The room was very dark. There are no lights near the bed except for tiny little headboard, lights-the drapes were torn from the rod and just hung- The room I was given was a handicap room. (I'm not really sure why)& so the shower was a walk in with a drain outside of the shower. ? And there was a shower chair against the wall near the window next to the bed. The bathroom towels have a grayish appearance rather than a clean white look - Probably would not ever stay here again . There is only a McDonald's, an Applebee's and another burger place close by. read more

This was a great and comfortable stay! Room was clean and comfortable and staff was friendly.

The good part of the stay was a friendly front desk person, it's a Marriott so I get points and the room is a suite. Now for the bad, although the lobby looks newer, the rooms need some love. Immediately, when I walked in the room, the room smelled a bit musty. The fixtures, furniture, cabinets just look and feel older and worn. The carpet is supposed to be a light green color (already not pleasing to the eye) but it's dirty looking and in many spots a more brownish green (if that's even a color!). Needs some USB plugs near the bed instead of me having to move the table to unplug the alarm clock which no one ever uses anymore. It's an older hotel so AC Unit is very loud, you can hear the shower running from either the adjoining room or from a different floor. After a short day at work, came back to the room at around 3:45 and my room hadn't been cleaned yet. I could have had it cleaned but didn't bother and just requested the extra points instead. Okay, so my husband and I stay here twice per year for the last four years now and yes they have updated their rooms BUT they STIll have a lot to do ! We keep expecting this place to do their landscaping but it continues to look like an Abandoned Building. I think it is imperative to maintain the exterior of this hotel to make it more welcoming. There was so much done on the interior to bring it up to date but now is the time to do the outside. The 2 hotels that are in the adjoining parking lots have rock and assorted plants around their exteriors, a Simple yet appealing landscape for guests. I think it's time for this Fairfield Inn and Suites to do the same !! read more

WORST EXPERIENCE POSSIBLE!! Consider nearby hotels: Drury Inn or Hampton Inn---I have been treated better by others. I am a TITANIUM PLATINUM ELITE member. I checked in at this hotel through the app and put in the 4pm late Check-out, which it approved me at the time of check-in. I arrived at the hotel today at 1:54pm and access to the hotel and the room were blocked. I went to the front desk with my key and the person at the front desk informed me that they were not aware of. Housekeeping was called--in the meantime, I was told it was up to housekeeping but there was not a reservation for the room I was to check out of and there would be no problem at this point. Housekeeping called another manager and the other manager came out of nowhere to tell me that there would be no late check-outs, although it was already now 2pm. I previously offered to pay and extend my stay and when I told the front desk clerk that I would just pay to extend my stay, she replied she needed TO CHECK TO SEE IF THERE WERE ANY ROOMS AVAILABLE BECAUSE THERE WAS A BIG GROUP COMING IN. all of sudden there is a big group coming in although i offered to pay another night for my room the hotel was completely empty with about 12 cars in the whole lot (now 2:30 PM) as soon as i started brining my things out of the room, housekeeping comes off break to knock on the doors on the floor (1st) to begin cleaning rooms at 2:00 pm STAFF WAS VERY RUDE HOUSEKEEPING VERY INEPT FOR THE JOB FRONT DESK (ALTHOUGH APOLOGETIC) HAD NO CLUE WHAT WAS GOING ON ---INTIMIDATED BY BLOND HAIR MANAGER/SUPERVISOR TOOK MY TITANIUM STATUS AND CHECKING IN AT ANOTHER MARRIOTT HOTEL FOR 3X THE DOLLARS PER NIGHT --you get what you pay for HORRIBLE CHECK-OUT EXPERIENCE, WILL DO MY BEST TO PERSUADE THROUGH ALL REVIEW PLATFORMS TO WARN THEM OF THE STAFF AT THIS HOTEL, ESPECIALLY IF YOU A LOYALTY MEMBER OF THE MARRIOTT BON VOY PROGRAM. The overall experience was good. The room was fine except there was no sink soap; no big deal. The breakfast staff was very attentive, accommodating. However, when we were checking out I witnessed the manager and a male employee were absolutely awful! A very distraught guest came down and complained about him scaring her by aggressively knocking on her door and scaring her. She came down to ask for an apology and the began yelling at her! She was not arguing just asking for an apology. They would not! They were defiant and very unprofessional. She left very upset. I recognized her from the hallway just a couple minutes ago. As someone in the hospitality industry for over 40 years I mentioned to them how unprofessional they were and all he had to do was say, "I'm sorry ". The manager started yelling at me, and in front of other guests, saying she stands by her employee and not all customers are right. I am astonished! My husband came in to get our luggage and when we left he asked me what was going on. He told me earlier, when he went to get a luggage cart, there was a woman at the front desk crying. His description was the guest I saw. I don't care what happened, guests should never be treated that way! She was calm and they were very loud, spiteful and completely unprofessional. I have never had to write a negative review yet this behaviour is unacceptable. We have been Bonvoy members for years and their behaviour is definitely not Marriott quality. Let me just say that the location of this hotel is not the greatest. Granted it's right next to the freeway, so it's convenient. There is a Golden Coral & McDonald's within 2-3 minutes walking distance. A gas station right across the street with a convenience store. I did notice a foul odor upon arrival. Smelled like a sewer leak. The exterior of the hotel is very dated, but once you walk in, you can see that the lobby has been renovated. When we checked into our King w/sofa bed, it was small, but still had enough room. The room actually looked nice and updated. There was an alcove with a desk on one side and the microwave, coffee maker and mini fridge on the other. The sofa bed pulls out from the bottom like a drawer and not like the traditional ones where you have to remove the cushions and pull it out. The sofa bed was from West Elm. The king bed was nice and comfy. The bathroom had a nice barn door and was a good size. There was also an actual hot breakfast in the morning with scrambled eggs, sausage and make your own waffle station. There was also the typical breakfast fare like cereal, yogurt, milk, toast and muffins. Overall, the hotel & staff were very nice and accommodating. No offense to the staff or anything, but I would not come back to this place due to the location of it. read more

Unbelievable! Literally. DO NOT be fooled by the remodeled exterior!!! They are updating this VERY old hotel but IT IS A MESS!! Carpet is ripped throughout the entire first floor. Pool - closed. Hot tub - closed. Gym - closed. Only I've machine in the entire hotel - first floor in the "war zone" of disgusting carpet and more. Ohhh, but wait, the ice machine is broken. Front desk said, oh sorry. Why put signs on every other ice machine saying you need to go to the first floor only to find out it's broken. NOTHING ON THE WEBSITE or Bonvoy (lifetime Platinum member) that mentions closures, construction or pardon our mess. How can Marriott allow this level of mess to stay connected to their brand? read more

The first room we were provided had a dirty toilet, hair all over the bathroom floor, a towel wrapped around the shower head, and an inoperable sliding bathroom door. When we went down and discussed with the staff member, she stated that the towel around the shower head was uncharacteristic of the rooms. What?!? The dirty room was expected? Seriously!? She moved us to another room. The second room was marginally better. The toilet still hadn't been clean, and there was pink algae in the bathroom. The floors were equally dirty, and the door slammed like a gun being shot off. The free breakfast was subpar compared to other properties. July 24,2021 9 pm Ive been driving 14 hours from Cal needed a place to rest. Called 6 hours in advance to reserve a room.. worst decision ever.. There's more places around but they were fully booked, no I learned why! Stay away...you've been warned. front desk clerk gave another person the same room, first, I'm dead asleep and I hear someone forcing the door trying to come into the room.. I abruptly woke thinking wtf! Thank goodness I had the extra latch lock on. I just said wrong room a good 6-7 times out loud and the guy said this is the room given to us. SMH! I'm dead tired, managed to fall sleep when the freaking desk lady starts calling at crazy times I am so disappointed at these place. Never again. She called at 11:15 pm and at 7:15 am. I gotta get on the road for another 13 hours.. so much for a restful night. Very unfortunate. I hope corporate sees this. read more

This place deserves is 6 star. For $99 dollars a night, it is way nicer than Comfort inn or La quinta. Its newly renovated, staffs here is 100 times nicer, so far two front desks we talked to are full of positive energy and super helpful. Parking is big, Rooms are beautiful, bright and clean, geen color coordination makes you feel so relaxed. Breakfast has more selections. If you pass here needed a place to stay highly recommended this hotel. read more

This place is extremely overpriced and huge dump! There are water bubbles in the ceiling and everything is falling apart, as you'll be able to see from the pictures I took. The air conditioner only works for a few minutes at a time. It'll turn on for about 1 or 2 minutes and then off for about 5 or 6 minutes. And it doesn't matter what temperature it's set at. The beds are old and lumpy. The pillows were super comfortable though. The shower was grimy, but the water pressure was amazing. As a loyal Marriott customer, this was a huge disappointment. When you spend more than $100 for a night at a hotel, especially with the Marriott name on it, you expect quality. The only reason why I gave this 2 stars instead of just 1 was because the staff was fairly nice and as mentioned above, the pillows were fantastic and the water pressure was great. read more

Outside the building is fairly unassuming. The rooms are okay, but they cut corners on the cleaning leading to unsanitary corners in the shower. There also seems to be some sort of ant problem as we saw a few large black ants in the room. The coffee maker was also filthy and uncleaned from the prior guest. It's always a bit tricky trying to find an affordable, nice, safe place to stay overnight in LAS Cruces during our road trips west. We used to wing it, then priceline it then we got smarter and researched them and finally used our points and researched them. That's the key because this year we enjoyed our stay here so much using our points that we picked it to stay coming back too! This Springhills is nice. The room we got coming back was cleaner n nicer than the first one. Newer perhaps? It was the room next to the stairs at the end of the hall but it was cleaner for an odd reason. Whiter room, cheerier :) Our first night going there, only complaint was there was a dirty glass in the kitchen area. I know it's minor but it makes you wonder if they cleaned other things or just reused dishes that looked untouched? Return visit none of that so was pleased. Despite that, it was a comfortable night stay. Not bad. The tub was newer 2nd time around. Walls are thin so first night we heard almost everything. But still ok, no biggie. One wish is that they gave us more toilet paper. We almost ran out :/ WiFi wasn't bad, staff was nice there esp on our return visit when we had to check in very late. They let us spin for a price and we won some points :) Made us felt welcomed to return. Beds are comfort and adequate. Pull out fit the bill. Breakfast selection was good. Great hot breakfast as well as muffins, milk n juices. Had adequate selection even though it was almost closing time. Felt safe staying there n right off hwy. DO NOT STAY HERE!! This is the dirtiest, most disgusting hotel I've ever had the nightmare of staying in. My first room had BLOOD STAINED SHEETS (see pictures), I almost threw up on sight. Staff on site was as disgusted as I was and moved me to another room in the late hours of the night. My 2nd room had 2 crickets living in it, one in the bathroom and one in the living area. I was exhausted and it was the middle of the night, I managed to get one cricket out the front door, locked the other in the bathroom and reluctantly went to sleep. I'm the morning I woke up to BUG BITES ALL OVER (photos). I was extremely upset in the morning but there was "no manager on site". I left notes with the front desk and expected a phone call that never came. I called a couple hours later, took multiple attempts to get a manager on the phone. Once I did, she was rude and acted like I was the problem. She stated Ecolab would come out to test for bed bugs and she'd let me know. Shocker, she never called back. When I spoke with her later that afternoon, she said with an attitude "they didn't find any bed bugs", I said, "what about the blood stained sheets?" To which she barely apologized for and continued giving me attitude. I began taking it up with Marriott's corporate office, who was also surprisingly unbothered by the whole situation. I eventually said screw it and decided I'd just stick to Hilton for now on. I've done the public a disservice by not mentioning this sooner.. but seriously, don't stay here. I picked SpringHill cause it was on our way to Austin TX. It was a decent price and convenient cause it's just off of the I-10. Anyways, we checked in and the woman at the front desk was very nice, friendly, and very welcoming. Just what I needed after a long drive. The room was ok. Little outdated. It had two queen beds , living area with a couch bed, desk, and a little kitchenette that had a refrigerator and microwave. Not bad. Only real issue was the bathroom. The sink was outside by the beds. The shower and toilet was fairly outdated. Toilet kept on running but that's okay. After taking a shower it seemed like the room was very musky if you know what I mean. It's just a room to relax and sleep in so it wasn't bad for the price. They have a free breakfast. Don't expect a lot. They had scrambled eggs, sausage patties, pastries, bagels, cereal, fruit and waffles with orange and apple juice. Oh yea they had continuous coffee. Not bad. Not great but decent breakfast. So for the price, not bad. Don't expect much. Very friendly staff. Helpful staff. Room is decent and clean. Hotel is clean too. Very convenient for road trips too. Don't know if I will be coming thru Las Cruces again but we will see if I stay there again. Enjoy read more

I have been going to this hotel every year for 11 years. It use to be an amazing place with friendly helpful staff. On our last stay I had called twice before our stay and they never told us the hot tub and pool was closed for repairs. When we check in to our newly renovated room we find no power at the desk station and usb power outlets. Light on ceiling didn't work and the new bathroom door that slides close had no way to lock it with a huge gap to see right in. We also had painting tape over one fire sprinkler . Later that day our cable went out. Nobody showed so as a hotel engineer myself I fixed it. The next morning I am awaken by front desk early in the morning to tell me that I wasn't checked in correctly and she wanted to do it with me over the phone. I did address all this to front desk that I wasn't happy. When I get home I see my reservation was canceled and my points returned ? Weird but ok. Maybe they wanted to return my points for all the problems. But no! Come to find out, with out my permission or notifying me they went on my Marriott account and took my yearly certificate and a week later another 2500 points. My son and I had a great stay here. Everything was clean. My son loved all the lights and how spacious the rooms were. I was not able to get their names but the ladies at the front desk who checked us in and out were great! read more

We were just passing through, but this place was good. You really cannot go wrong with a Marriott normally. What I found interesting is that even though most all Marriott's are on the same computer system, they all seem to have a different way of releasing the money hold they place on your card. THIS PLACE IS NOT AN ISSUE. The staff is very nice and accommodating. The rooms are more then what I expected and the location is very nice. We did not stay for the morning breakfast as we had to get on the road so I cannot comment on it. I would definitely stay here again when in this area and I would recommend this place to anyone passing through the area. read more

Nice job! Our family stayed a couple nights here and really appreciated the extra mile the staff at this hotel delivered. We were pleasantly surprised to receive our requested additional towels. (We've traveled for years with kids, staying in Marriotts and this was actually the first time they were in our room upon check in ). Under extensive remodeling, recently acquired by Marriott from another hotelier! Having the opportunity to regularly stay over many accommodations across and occasionally outside the country, not a professional hotel reviewer by any means, and not a regular business traveler - but as a primarily pleasure and needs wanderer, I have developed as what I believe is my concise method for scoring the worthiness of each hotel visited. My criteria are as follows and the results are: 1) ease of access to and from public or private ground transportation [Score:5]; 2) convenient and safe parking [Score:5]; 3) access, accuracy and convenience of check in and check out [Score:4.5]; 4) atmosphere, ambience, public facilities, lounging areas, gym, pool, and access to an office center and Wi-Fi [Score:4]; 5) overall customer service - including but not limited to Hospitality, Support Services, Concierge knowledge, communication, attitude and demeanor of staff [Score:4]; 6) quality, cleanliness, value, convenience, amenities (i.e., ironing board, iron, TV, charging access, phone, et.al.) and comfort of rooms, beds, room safe and/or valet services [Score:3.5]; Taking all the aforementioned categories in a scale of 1 star to 5 stars with 1 being the worst and 5 being the best a hotel can be! This hotel rates a: 4.3. Most positive point(s) at this hotel is/are: a very postive score considering they were undergoing some pretty extensive renovations, and were able to keep it from obvious view and limited inconvenience. Most negative points found here are: we were notable to thoroughly enjoy their fire pit, outdoor lounge area or pool due to maintenance . My price to value to overall assessment: moderate to very good. I highly recommend this stayover. read more

We have stayed at this hotel when traveling over the last 15 years. They have renovated the hotel recently. The sauna isn't working. The room we were assigned was one of the older rooms. The room seemed halfway cleaned. We had already unpacked after 10 hours on the road. We ahould have asked for a new room. The toilet was stained like they were not using a good cleaning agent. The refrigerator was frozen over in the freezer area. Went to breakfast and the area was not stocked. No hot cups for coffee. We had to ask the person in the cleaning area if we could get cups. She handed us 2, then went back to talking to the other person. The hot water came out a brownish color so I wasn't able to make tea! The juice machine only had water. It was 8 oclock. The lady finally came out to take the over flowing trash, she acted like we were invisible. We left after another 5 mins. We will never stay at this location again. My party of 6 has had a very difficult experience at your property this weekend. I was going to write a narrative but bullet points are easier: - Keys don't work repeatedly in numerous rooms my party booked including replacements.  (safety issue) - Phones in the room don't work (safety issue) - Upper floors (2 and 3) are full of empty rooms with the doors kept ajar (an obvious security issue) and regular guests are sent to these floors willy nilly. - TVs and remotes don't work. (nuisance) - Construction possible safety issue and no sign of asbestos abatement. (code violation) - No MOD on duty Friday afternoon and night.  Maybe never a designated MOD.  Desk repeatedly unable to resolve issues. Frankly, half my party canceled their rooms and I believe this property is not up to code for habitability.  I've already talked to Marriott corporate and am waiting on a call from the La Cruces Fire Department.  The entire place should be red tagged. read more

It's right off I-10 so very convenient. Staff was very friendly at front desk. SPG platinum elite guest and there was no upgrade. Rooms are dated with a window unit AC. Ask for a room not facing highway and there are not very many of those the way the building is situated. Lots of road noise so beware. This hotel does the job for one night. There's a great dinner option very close by (.7 mile away). Lots of reviews say only Applebee's but there's St. Claire Winery and Bistro that's got much better healthy options!! The breakfast at the hotel is just ok- eggs are the fake egg kind. Toast, cereal, yogurt, fruit etc Like I said it does the trick for one night sleep read more

Answered the phone right away with a very cheery greeting. Property was undergoing renovations. Room we stayed in was very clean and many protocols in place for COVID reopening. Bagged breakfasts prepared in controlled environment. Housekeepers stay out of your room and front desk wearing masks. Do not stay here! Mold in bathrooms, dirty with old food kitchen smelled, old plaster that has fallen off walls and is now part of the decor on the floors. Damaged and horribly smelling carpets, drug cartridges in elevators, and dirty used bandages behind the beds. We had to move to three different rooms to find the least dirty room. Tried to work with front desk, but she stated they have a known problem with housekeeping and repairs. She would not enter one of our rooms because of the carpet smells. It is horrible to spending my hard earned money on an unsafe and unhealthy hotel. So very sad about their decision not to assist my family and I. read more
