I want to start with the positives: the room was clean, well-appointed, and when we finally got there, we were just relieved to be in it. Unfortunately, everything leading up to that point was frustrating enough to warrant this review. Check-In Was a Nightmare We waited nearly an hour and 45 minutes to check in. When we arrived, there was only one staff member at the front desk during what is clearly a peak check-in window (5 PM). She was frequently distracted at one point on the phone, while a long line of tired, frustrated guests waited in front of her. There was no acknowledgment of the wait, no apology, and no communication to the guests standing in line. At one point, another guest came up to ask how long the process would take. Rather than addressing her with any empathy, the response was simply, *"I'm the only one up here."* I understand staffing challenges are real, but that's not how you handle guests who have been waiting 30+ minutes. Where Was Management? Housekeeping Supervisor Karen eventually brought someone to open a second counter but only after more than an hour had passed. Why wasn't that done sooner? Why wasn't the supervisor assisting at the desk herself while the line grew? Additional Issues - The online check-in was not functioning, which only added to the bottleneck. - The key card we were given didn't work. - Our reservation was for a king bed; we were given two queens. Bottom Line This property clearly needs better staffing protocols for high-traffic hours, a more proactive management presence, and basic guest communication skills. A simple *"We apologize for the wait, we're doing our best to get to everyone"* goes a long way. Tired travelers deserve better than silence and dismissal. read more

This visit has been a disaster! Horrible customer service, 1 elevator working for the entire hotel, staff did not inform anything about hotel procedures. Waiting on the elevator the first morning for 20 minutes. We missed the provided breakfast by 5 minutes and we were told it was over and no food was available. I witnessed a woman beg for a banana because she had diabetes. Last night we arrived back to no elevators working and we were forced to use the service elevator. I ordered a glass of wine from room service and it took over an hour to get a $25 glass of wine! Additionally, when we checked in they attempted to charge us for parking. We paid for parking. So no breaktast, no elevators, and all the employees just sat behind the counter chatting. Gold members and no upgrades or even bottles of water provided. read more

I kind of want to keep this place a secret, as it seems to be a hidden gem. Located just in front of Revere Beach with STUNNING views from the lobby. The rooms are huge, very spacious and comfortable. They offer a variety of amenities like a pool, gym, and an onsite restaurant. Staff was super friendly, and the biggest reason we booked this was proximity to the airport as we needed a shuttle, to the hotel, and our driver was awesome! Definitely a bonus. The breakfast as great, offered a decent variety, and again you're eating front of floor to ceiling windows facing the beach., There is also a starbucks in the lobby. Solid stay, although the check in process at 3am left a little to be desired. Front desk was nowhere to be found despite calling ahead and we had to wait at least five minutes for someone to show up, but that's okay - that's part of the game with late night check ins. Location was good - right on the beach. Moroccan bakery (Casablanca house) within walking distance (grab the Moroccan flatbread for a delicious meal), along with Kelly's Roast Beef. Hotel has a restaurant in lobby as well. Rooms were very comfy and bed was nice: no complaints. I'd stay here again. read more

Then I asked for towels and only got two for five people in the room. The breakfast was good. The beach is just a short walk away across a bridge so that was nice. Exactly what I expected from a SpringHill Suites. Super convenient location right on Revere Beach with the Blue Line (Wonderland station) behind the hotel. Easy ride into downtown or Salem. Free shuttle service to and from the airport. Friendly and knowledgeable front desk. The common areas and my room itself was clean. Very quiet and spacious rooms. The complimentary breakfast was standard fare. Basic scrambled eggs, pastries, yogurt, sausages etc. I wish they had the coffee station and hot water going all day (and not just in the morning). Breakfast area has a great view of the bridge and the beach. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this to folks looking to stay in the Boston area but want a peaceful location away from the downtown hubbub. read more

This hotel is very good. It's close enough to the airport so transportation to and from is not a problem-it also has a free shuttle. The rooms are large, super clean, contemporary. The Mission Beach House Bar & Grill, on site but not affiliated with the hotel, serves amazing food. Great place. Will always book when I'm in Boston. read more

Conveniently located by the blue line train to get you in town and the bridge to go over to the beach. There is a LL bean small freestanding building that has beach chairs and other things at the foot of the bridge. I would not pay extra for the limited ocean view because it is rather misleading. Huge closet but no stands for your suitcases in there. 2 beds and they only give you 2 towels. The Breakfast is fair and good luck getting a seat so come early. The beds were comfortable the bathroom was large. The biggest plusses are being able to walk out the back and be right to the blue line train and not needing to rent a car because parking is extra. Also the bridge that takes you to the beach is literally out the side entrance. I have not tried the onsite Starbucks or restaurant. read more

First of all, this hotel is a self service type of hotel. The elevator has been out of service for a while and we have to use the service elevator. No security at all , anyone can just walk in and take the service elevator to any floor. Free breakfast was disappointing. No extra towels was in the room and quality of the towel was horrible. It actually can scratch your skin! And there is drum based music that one can hear at late night so of you can't sleep with any sound, then it will be a sleepless night.... read more

All elevators down, including service elevators, except 1!! So even the staff with all cleaning carts etc were using the 1 working elevator. Each wait for the elevator was longer than the one before, especially during Boston's commencement weekend. The front office staff was RUDE, distracted, and said anything for you to leave the front desk so they could get back to whatever they were doing. The lady working breakfast on 6/1/25 was nasty and RUDE. Additionally, it was difficult to get enough towels and washcloths. So 5 stars for cleanliness, building layout, and staff friendliness. I was staying here for a wedding and the block filled up, therefore I paid full price for a room (I understand this). But, upon arrival no one asked me if I was going to such wedding and turned out they didn't hand out half of the prepared gift bags for the wedding guests. The family ended up having to take the gift bags home which was sad to see hard work and money wasted. I also did not like how their website included incorrect breakfast times therefore I missed breakfast. Their bar/restaurant was beautiful with decent food. Grateful the bar stayed open later for the wedding after-party! All in all you're paying for a beautiful view in a great location! read more

If you value your sleep you will not check in this hotel. They have a bar nightclub down in the lobby and sadly who ever build this hotel didn't bother to add any soundproofing to the elevator shaft. As such all the thumping bass from the lobby bounces up the shaft and you can hear this in your room even if you are in the sixth floor. Ye, you will be able to make out many of the songs. If you are light sensitive, you won't get any sleep either. The fire alarm flicks a stobe light every 20 minutes or so and yes, it's enough to awaken your senses. The parking lot is far too tight for a mid size car so unless you enjoy a good door ding, a nice little scratch or having to adjust your side view mirrors in the morning; you have been warned. The night was still frustrating at 3 am when kids running down the hallways from the 5th floor could be audibly heard on the 6th floor. read more

The rooms and facilities are very nice, BUT 1 of 2 elevators was not working for 4 days. Most of the staff were rude and short, except for maintenance staff. This hotel needs a lot of help and improvements. It's nice it's near beach but I won't be back!!!!!! read more

For only $180 a night for a very spacious room with an ocean view.... Plus, only about 10 min from the airport. Plus, a breakfast buffet every day... Did I also mention this place is brand new? I'm not traveling with a baby, thank heavens, but I used to, and the walk-in closets are so large, you could easily put a pack n play in there. This place is just a stopover for me after a red eye flight before I head up the coast, but I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. read more

Stayed here 10/24-10/27 in room 321 and we had a pleasant stay. I have no complaints to be honest. One small thing... No toiletries is our room at all, nor did we see housekeeping anywhere. Clean hotel in a great location overlooking Revere beach right behind the Wonderland MBTA stop, making it very convenient when flying in and out of Boston Logan International Airport. Friendly staff and modern accommodations with good size rooms make it an attractive choice. We stayed on a Friday night and had ZERO towels (no bath towels, no hand towels, no wash clothes) in our room. They said it was due to their laundry breaking and delays getting them washed and back, but we didn't stick around long enough to see when/if they restocked. The breakfast was pretty decent, but since we showed up towards the end of breakfast and they were severely understaffed with only one person trying to keep up with the demand, so anytime she would bring out any food, a horde of customers would come up and it would immediately disappear. It didn't help that the Starbucks in the hotel also was out of half their stuff either. Must have been a busy weekend at the beach since it was such beautiful weather. read more

Clean hotel. 5 stars for that. Be careful if you have someone with allergies. No change of gloves with handling nuts and going to different counters and touching food. The older server at the breakfast is rude. Day time Front desk is personnel are extremely nice. Pretty good overall for a lower end Marriot property. Clean, spacious rooms, friendly service and great location across from the beach and adjacent to the MBTA. Downside (for me) is the complimentary breakfast. Yes it's "free", but the food is so processed and mundane. Other than make your own waffles, which are fine, and the coffee, which is strong, the bagels are pre-frozen and bland, the scrambled eggs taste like mush, and the boiled eggs like rubber, the sausages are steamed vs. grilled and the tiny little muffins come right out of a box. No breakfast potatoes or bacon. I would implore them to up their game a bit. Don't need eggs benedict and french toast, but some quality upgrade would be appreciated. read more

WOMEN BEWARE OF FRONT DESK PREDATOR!!!! My Fiance and I booked a last minute room here when I came to visit my family. I have been dying to stay here since we always have positive experiences at other Springhill locations. We checked in around 230 AM the night desk worker was so nice and attentive and approved of us staying until 4pm since we arrived so late. I stayed up to watch the sunrise which was breathtaking and came downstairs to get breakfast before I went to bed. The elevator is only accessible by having a room key. The not so gentleman at the desk (MIKE) approached me while I was getting a coffee. He asked me what room I was in and I said 315 and kept on continuing into the breakfast area. Not giving him the attention he desires he followed me around the breakfast area demanding I tell him my name and room number. I told him the last name on the reservation and room number agian and he walked away. Another minute passed and he came back AGIAN!!! I gave him my fiances full name and room number and explained to him that we are titanium members and I didn't understand what the issue was. I felt as though he was racially profiling me because of my Latina features. He then told me that I'm not considered a guest because my name was not on the reservation as well. He was much bigger then me and as a woman alone I felt super uncomfortable and targeted. I have never been so disrespected in a Marriot. I was in my pajamas and felt he was judging me because of my appearance. We have 114 nights at Marriots across New England this year because we work overnights for Apple and travel frequently. When my fiance woke up looking for his breakfast I had to explain to him that the front desk man had followed me around questioning if I was actually a guest. When my fiance called him on the phone and asked why he treated me like that Mike told him we had to leave at 12 or we would be escorted off the property by the police. We did not get very much sleep which created a very dangerous drive home 3 hours away. When we called Marriot they just take a report but never follow up with there findings. As someone who has worked as a manager in the hospitality industry for 15 years I'm shocked and appauled with the way this devil in disguise treated me. It felt as though he didn't like my big smile and positive energy I had walking through the lobby. What happened to the days when the customer is always right. I feel as though since COVID Marriots customer service as a whole has gone downhill. Employees will lie to make guests seem disorderly. I will never return to that hotel and seriously question if I would ever stay with Marriot again! I would love to find the Email address to whoever is in charge of the Northeast area because this isn't the first time we have had to put in a complaint that wasn't followed through with. This hotel did not acknowledge our titanium status. No welcome gift no waters no body products. We reserved a 2 bedroom suite and we're not upgraded even though there were plenty of open rooms. Your better off driving 20 minutes North to the Springhill in Peabody mass. They have the most accommodating staff and have a shuttle to the airport as well! read more

With mixed reviews, I was hesitant to book, but the price was the best in the area. We were visiting Boston and the Blue Line right behind was a major plus. Only took 20 minutes to get to and from the city. The room was clean and you could tell it was a new hotel. The room was spacious as well. The parking was $15 a day which wasn't horrible but it was very convenient to access and come and go throughout the day. I would definitely stay there again as it was clean and convenient for going the city. read more

Finally agreed and 'allowed' me to pay for the extra days and then proceeded to tell me there is no shuttle to the airport. We will never stay here again. On the positive it is clean. read more

To whom it may concern, My family and I stayed at this hotel and were paying $400.00 per night. The front desk doesn't answer the phone, I called for half an hour. Our toilet was clogged and they said they couldn't fix it until 6:00 am the next day.. Also they only clean the rooms every 3 days because of the pandemic, mean while no employees were wearing masks or taking any precautions. The rudeness at this hotel is outrageous, as a long time customer of Marriott I will never stay with them again. You would get better treatment at a Nazi concentration camp. Because I told the front desk per son FU as I was leaving 20 minutes later the police were knocking on my hotel door, what a waste of community resources. Brides beware. This is a franchised hotel which is unfortunate they get to carry the Marriott name. Room blocks: Inadequate if you are having a large, out of town wedding (which was stated upon booking). Verbally told we could add more rooms if booked in advance, that was not honored and you will only be given what is on the contract. (Like the wedding planning books say, don't trust someone's word even if they are friendly, learned the hard way) Night minimums: Verified in April that there was no night minimums at this location. Two months before our wedding a two-night minimum was placed on the weekend of our wedding as it was a "popular" weekend. Booking: Guests would call to book & be told the bride & groom would need to request more rooms although they denied any more rooms multiple times. Some guests would call & be told the hotel was filled but there would be rooms online. Or they would speak to someone else & there would be rooms. There are plenty of other factors that also happened along the way: the communication, check-in experience, and so on. There was no support for our event which cost thousands of dollars. Essentially, you are paying 5 stars prices for 1 star service at best on Revere Beach- respectfully. Weddings are stressful enough, the least of your worries should be coming from your hotel block. read more
