I'm on the fence about this location. Upon checkin I had to sign a "contract"-like form that I agreed to their policies- first time staying at any Marriott property where I've seen anything like this, despite being a Marriott gold elite for years. I'm wondering if maybe this is a bad part of town where they've had trouble in the past? The front desk worker must have been new, o was trying to pay with a Marriott gift card that she seemingly wasn't trained on how to do; and with no manager on duty, I had to speak with the morning manager the next day to get it sorted out. Unfortunately when I visited, despite the state's moratorium on pool closures having ended a few weeks earlier, their pool was closed- and they couldn't point me towards any nearby sister proprieties they cross-honor pool privileges. The pool was the reason I booked this location, yet they didn't post anything on the Marriott app they their pool was closed. Unfortunately breakfast was a brown bag; wish they'd do the server hot breakfast like some other hotels do until buffets can return. Room was nice, though didn't quite understand the split bathroom?

Stayed here this past weekend. Thursday-Sunday. Price was great due to the wedding booking out almost the whole hotel. Room-Booked a king but got a double suite. Was so tired that I didn't even both complaining. And honestly, a few nights where no one could touch me and I could flip around on the bed however I wanted...not gonna pass that up. The room itself was spacious for a hotel room. Nice sitting area with a couch that turned into a trundle/daybed. Desk area. Fridge, of course. A wall divide that area from the bed. The bathroom was divide in 2. A toilet and sink behind one pocket door and sink and nice sized shower behind another pocket door. Perfect for people who really need privacy in the bathroom. HUGE closet and the most storage I've seen in a hotel room. Beds were comfy. AC worked great. Water pressure was definitely the best I've had in a hotel. Breakfast-Kind of assumed it would be mediocre. Assumed wrong. Of course the normal cereals and breads stuff but scrambled eggs and sausage. Waffles on the weekend. Oatmeal. Amazing scones. Coffee was also really good. Amenities-Didn't make it to the pool but it and the hot tub were small but nice. Small exercise room. Two really nice outdoor seating areas. Huge fire pit. Service-All the staff we encountered were great. Got too directions to a place to eat one night. Was able to check out at 4am. We were here for a wedding and the whole family had to be at least 50% of the booking if not more. We had a hospitality suite with drinks and snacks and what not. It was always open. Huge thanks to the staff for putting up with us and gently kicking us out of the lobby at 11:30 one night. :) One not great thing happened but it allows me to give kudos to the night manager. We got back from the wedding close to midnight. Crashed in bed. Then around 1:30am I hear a banging on the door. Stumbling over and opening it, I see 3 sherrif's officers outside my door in the hallway. They kindly told me everything was alright and go back to bed. I did. I asked the manager at checkout a very short 3 hours later what happened since they woke me up. Turns out another patron decided it would be a good idea to punch his wife/SO and then run away. The manager was not having violence on his watch and called police. Good on him. I doubt I'll be back in the Saginaw area anytime soon but if I am then I would absolutely stay here.

Absolutely beautiful! Modern decor, spacious with many amenities, first class! Soundproof walls, absolutely not. There has to be some type of flaw in the structure of this building. You can hear absolutely everything from your neighbors room. It's as if you are in the same room! This was the worst nights sleep I have ever had in a hotel. I could hear my neighbors conversation, toilet flushing, doors opening/closing and other sounds that I don't need to discuss. So sad, because this place is gorgeous and reasonably priced. I truly hate to give this place only two stars, but you will not get a good nights sleep here. I'm not sure how, but I hope this issue can be fixed.

I choose Hilton properties for a reason -- consistency, reliability, and good service. This hotel delivered none of that. On November 8, the hotel's entire hot water system failed. Annoying, but things happen. The night front desk agent told me there was no information and no timeframe on when it would be repaired. Fine -- I said I'd check again in the morning before switching hotels. The next afternoon on November 9, I called the front desk again. The woman who answered told me the problem still wasn't fixed and "probably wouldn't be all weekend." When I mentioned what the night clerk had told me, she said "That's not true -- he should have told you it will be out all weekend" Then I said, reasonably, that I would likely need to check out since they still had no hot water -- a basic expectation for any hotel, let alone a Hilton. Her immediate response? "Well, you're not getting a refund." Mind you -- I hadn't even asked for one. When I asked if this is really how they treat Diamond members, she said it didn't matter. Let me be clear: the lack of hot water was bad enough, but the attitude, dismissiveness, and complete lack of professionalism from the front desk was far worse. No apology, no empathy, no attempt to make things right -- just a defensive and rude employee doubling down on bad service. I had planned to stay here 16 days a month for the next 4+ months for business. Now? Absolutely not. I've already canceled future stays and will be taking my business -- and my loyalty to the Home2 suites there in Saginaw Hilton should be embarrassed by how this property represents their brand. If this is how they treat their most loyal guests, I can't imagine how they treat everyone else. Avoid this place. Hilton has plenty of better options.

Our first room had dead bugs and big ants crawling around the AC unit and the corner of the room. There were stains on the bed duvet and mattress and also on the walls. We asked to switch rooms but was told they were completely booked. The next morning, I saw people checking out so I asked again if it would be possible to switch rooms and they were able to switch us. The new room also had dead bugs by the AC unit which I showed the front desk. They asked the house keeper to vacuum it up (which she gave me dirty looks for the rest of the trip). This room was slightly better (cleaner) than the last one. I stayed 2 more nights and proceeded to kill more big ants and pill bugs inside the room. Please note: We did not have food or drinks in the room or eat anything in the room. I even made my family eat their snacks in the lobby. I'm done with this place. Never again. Third morning no coffee or cream and sugar was supplied although there was a coffee pot.
