Holly answered all my questions on the phone and she's one of the reasons why I decided to do all my treatments here. Are they a little pricey? Yes. Did I trust dr.Patel to complete the work that I need? Also yes. I'm ok with paying more just to have the peace of mind. Today's appt was supposed to be 4 hours(fillings, a crown and deep cleaning for my left side. I was 13 mins late- texted and called the office to let them know I'm going to be late, in case they couldn't fit me in anymore. Holly answered and said no problem, drive safe. When I got there Holly was busy, Maria checked me in. The first thing she said to me was "we might not be able to do all your treatments today since you're late. Please sign all the forms and pay the balance of $550." I said what do you mean? The whole reason why I'm here today is that I don't want to get numbed multiple times. She said but you're late and time is tight. My machine is not up front so do you have a card? I said I texted Holly she's aware I'd be a little late, she rolled her eyes and said "I can see the message too". Who talks like that and who trained her? It took them 15 mins to check me in and I didn't even SEE the doctor's face till 11:45. Clearly my 13 mins was really a big deal lol. I am responsible for being 13 mins late but I believe Maria could work on her delivery better. If you want to gaslight patients cuz you're overbooked- you're arguing with the wrong person. I'd have no problem if I was told on the phone that me being late would delay my treatment- I probably would have turned around and rescheduled instead of driving half an hour to get there and be told that I cannot do all of my treatments which would of defeated the purpose. Dr.Patel ended up doing all my treatments as discussed- I want to make it clear that this review does reflect on her work, the hygienist, Dr Jamie(I believe she did my deep cleaning) and Holly. I'm more than disappointed by the front staff Maria and her unprofessionalism/rudeness. Holly witnessed the whole interaction and the fact that this wasn't brought up to the management is concerning. If I was the owner of the practice I would absolutely like to know who cares about my clients and who doesn't. I hope they do better in the future.

Sometimes you need to see a periodontist or another specialist, and normally that means making a separate appointment at a totally different location but here, you don't have to go anywhere else. I saw Dr. Sofia Valenzuela, and she is an amazing dentist . She is knowledgeable, gentle, kind and genuinely cares about her patients. The entire staff is just as impressive, everyone in the office is professional, and welcoming. Another thing I really appreciate is that you don't have to wait for anything you need. They are very efficient and their scheduling is great at accommodating busy patients. They did a great job fitting me into a time that worked for me.

It's also a zoo when you go in there. It's very hectic and I've never seen the same hygienist more than once. They also have an annoying habit of pestering you. For example, I had a 1pm appt. I was parking the car and at 1:01pm I get a call asking if I'm still coming. However, on multiple visits I've waited in the lobby 15 minutes past the appointment time to be taken in. But finally I made it a goal to go back. I found this new dentist through my insurance and made an appt. To be honest, the appointment kind of snuck up on me. If not, I probably would've rescheduled from how scared I was, but I'm glad I did it. When I walked into the office, I was immediately greeted by two great ladies at the front. Vik was definitely the friendly face that I needed to see when I walked in to make my mind at ease. Once I was called back, the lady that took care of me with my x-rays was super nice and super talkative with me because when I am scared, I am a certified yapper and she literally entertained me the whole time. So thankful for her. The dentist I couldn't be more thankful for Mark Escoto. He came in, had a genuine conversation with me and let him know my concerns and he listened like truly listened. He didn't shave me for avoiding the doctor. He didn't shame me for not flossing like I should. He just understood. I didn't think I'd get my cleaning all at the same day with my x-rays because in the past office that I was in I'd have to do two different scheduling and it was just such a hassle. So to my surprise when I was able to do the cleaning, I was super ecstatic. Nervous but ecstatic that I didn't have to make another appointment. The cleaning itself was pretty good. I was numbed because they knew how sensitive I was and obviously since I hadn't been in years, it was gonna be a little bit rougher. So to spare me that they helped me out with the topical numbing cream. Super appreciative and that's the attention the detail that really makes me feel listened to and cared for here. I will absolutely be coming back for my six month appointment and I am confident that I will have taken the steps that I was told and overall make my dental health healthy again., I've already recommended this place to my coworkers and my mom, but I definitely recommend this to you all too!!
