I have avoided the dentist for years. I know it's terrible. My previous dentist left me scared and feeling like I was under a lot of pressure when ever I went because they would pitch me sales and it felt really used car salesman-y. But finally I made it a goal to go back. I found this new dentist through my insurance and made an appt. To be honest, the appointment kind of snuck up on me. If not, I probably would've rescheduled from how scared I was, but I'm glad I did it. When I walked into the office, I was immediately greeted by two great ladies at the front. Vik was definitely the friendly face that I needed to see when I walked in to make my mind at ease. Once I was called back, the lady that took care of me with my x-rays was super nice and super talkative with me because when I am scared, I am a certified yapper and she literally entertained me the whole time. So thankful for her. The dentist I couldn't be more thankful for Mark Escoto. He came in, had a genuine conversation with me and let him know my concerns and he listened like truly listened. He didn't shave me for avoiding the doctor. He didn't shame me for not flossing like I should. He just understood. I didn't think I'd get my cleaning all at the same day with my x-rays because in the past office that I was in I'd have to do two different scheduling and it was just such a hassle. So to my surprise when I was able to do the cleaning, I was super ecstatic. Nervous but ecstatic that I didn't have to make another appointment. The cleaning itself was pretty good. I was numbed because they knew how sensitive I was and obviously since I hadn't been in years, it was gonna be a little bit rougher. So to spare me that they helped me out with the topical numbing cream. Super appreciative and that's the attention the detail that really makes me feel listened to and cared for here. I will absolutely be coming back for my six month appointment and I am confident that I will have taken the steps that I was told and overall make my dental health healthy again., I've already recommended this place to my coworkers and my mom, but I definitely recommend this to you all too!! read more

Every single office, without exception, told me that the first appointment with my Liberty Insurance would include an X-ray and a standard teeth cleaning, along with recommendations based on the results. However, when I showed up for my appointment at Flamingo Smiles this morning, I was given only an X-ray. Then I was presented with a treatment plan that included a deep cleaning and other procedures totaling over $1,000--but no basic cleaning was done at all. When I returned to ask that they not bill my insurance since the cleaning was never performed, they refused. I spoke with Hola at the front desk--she was polite and professional, but ultimately just following orders. To make things worse, as I was leaving, I met another patient--a middle-aged woman--who told me she experienced the exact same thing: promised cleaning, only got an X-ray, and was billed anyway. This feels like misleading advertising at best, and at worst, a system designed to upsell unnecessary treatments without fulfilling basic expectations. I just went in for my check up and could not believe how kind the gentlemen at the front desk were (Gabe and another gentleman). I've been a patient with Flamingo Smiles for a few years now, and I absolutely adore everyone there. Hola at reception was able to move up my appointment by a week for my procedure. Peggy, Jake, and the lead dental assistant (didn't catch his name) always made sure to check in on me every few minutes during my visits. Dr. Patton is a gem; he is so easy to talk to and explained the why behind each of the procedures he recommended. Dr. Long performed my root canal and was incredible. Best dentistry office in the valley. Leading up to my appointment, Gabe and Kate-Lynn helper me schedule my appointments when I had changes. On appointment day, I was greeted by Koa who was very professional getting me checked in to ensure that I had a great experience. The dental hygienist, Shayna, was very thorough with my cleaning and it was good to just to speak with another Vegas native which is rare out hear. After my cleaning I had to get 4 fillings done, don't judge me, there I was helped by Dr. Estrada and the Dental Assistant, Ms.Peggy who was friendly and informational. AVOID THIS DENTIST AT ALL COST !!!. AN AUTHENTIC SIGNATURE FLAMINGO SMILE :) I had a tooth that served me well for 25 years. It needed replacement due to a small piece missing on the side, yet the tooth remained very sturdy. However, after Dr. Lam from Flamingo Smiles Dentistry worked on it, the tooth became weak and fragile. Post-treatment, Dr. Lam advised against biting into apples or bread for good, which made me question if he was serious. Unfortunately, the tooth cracked twice in a matter of months. When I called for them to fix it, they said they could only see me a week later. I also requested before and after X-ray images of the tooth. Initially, the supervisor claimed I couldn't have them. Upon asking why, he changed his stance, promising the images would be emailed to me within 10 minutes. However, a few hours later, I still hadn't received these images. STAFF: Everything from start to finish was AWESOME! At first I was on guard thinking I'm gonna be pressured here like most other offices to get money ,but I was wrong. My situation: I went to this clinic upon the referral of a co-worker since I was new in Las Vegas during this service. I had a extraction and porcelain bridge done. Crown fitting was done on several attempts, it was installed but the dentist did not do a thorough check on the condition teeth root. There was an infection hidden underneath the root causing me severe pain post appointment. Everytime I went to her clinic, she was always in a hurry to finish my appointment. The Problem: The bridge was put in and redone 3x. Mine you the hassles of me taking off at work and missed work paycheck to do these appointments. I should not have to go back multiple times to have my bridge fixed properly but because they focused more on patient volume and disregarding the quality of their service, I end up with this situation. I gave all my patience, understanding and professionalism dealing with this frustration, discomfort and loss if time.I thought after 4th attempt, the bridge was installed properly. So life goes on and I swore to never recommend this clinic to anybody because of sheer neglect on patient care. To this day, I still kept my silence on Yelp and Google review regarding this horrible experience because I do not want to bad mouth them to the community that may cause of lossing patients My dilemma: I went to another dentist for annual check and he was surprised to see my xrays of the previously done bride by Flamingo smiles. He asked that I should call the attention of the facility because the crown was not fitted properly underneath the gum line that will cause a big decay in a long run if it is not sealed properly. I contacted the Clinic and I was in communication with Mansour. I told him about the problem and sent him the xrays. I was hoping they will offer to fix the problem they have caused me. I have been waiting for their correspondence or reply regarding my bridge fix but to this day I never heard anything from them. Instead, I receieved a mail from collection agency! What an audacity to send me to collection agency and yet they overlooked the fact that they need to fix their previous job before collecting whatever additional charges. I sent all information and other details, I followed what they asked, but what I had in return? An apologetic bills from collection agency which was delivered sketchy cuz the delivery was hand in to me in envelop verifying that it was really me to get the bill. Now that this happened, my credit score was affected, I have a defective dental job that worth $10,000, a loss of a lot of time from my work uncompensated and yet I still experienced injustice about this matter in a first world country America. I will continue to appeal this from this clinic, Better Business Bureau, collecting agency, TV station/press and maybe officially report this matter to Dental Association as well if I do not hear any resolution. As soon as you walk in you are greeted (and not just a fake hello, an actual hi, how are you, etc. greeting) They quickly bring you up and I LOVE that you don't have to fill out paper forms. Your initial visit they email you the forms and you fill it out from your mobile. Then they show you a break down on their computer of everything you are doing during that visit. The office has about 7 chairs and I only ever come in the morning but I've never seen this place packed. Which makes me believe that they do a good job on scheduling and getting people in and out. (Bonus, they have a basket of Fruit Snacks) --I'm starving! Shortly after they bring you to the back. All the girls are GREAT, they explain what they are going to do each step and check to make sure you feel no pain. I tend to ask a lot of questions because I enjoy learning about improving my teeth hygiene! At the end is when you pay and you'll already know your fee from when you first arrived and saw your charge break down. (WHICH is great because half the time you have no idea what you have to pay for up front!) Overall Dr. Lee and her staff are great and would highly recommend this office. read more

This dentist office has committed insurance fraud with us. We paid $5,000 for my new husband's dental work without realizing that the insurance was retroactive to our marriage date. I have never been to a dentist like this one. Dr. Lee is absolutely AMAZING!!! I have never met a dentist like Dr. Lee. I never felt the needle going in when she went to numb me. Dr. Lee was very gentle and never missed a beat to explain anything she was doing. She paid attention to me being cold and had a blanket brought in to me while she work on my mouth. She Provided lip chap at the start of my procedure just in case my lips got dry. This office, staff and dentist thinks of everything when it comes to their clients. I have never experienced anything like this in all my years of going to the dentist. The comfort level of this office/service is something you must experience for yourself in order to believe what I'm saying. New resident to the area, saw the need to get a new dentist. Found Flamingo Smiles thru the Delta Dental website. Did most of the forms pre-visit with the app. Once at the appointment, easy check in. Had my initial x-rays. Tech made sure I was comfortable and ask if I had any areas that needed to be looked at. I told him i had a recent implant. Dr Lee was very thorough on her exam of my teeth. She said my implant was looking good (she had reviewed all of my x-rays before the exam). Dr. Lee did the plaque scraping and the tech did the final polish. Scheduled a 6 month follow-up. Yesterday was my second time at FlamingoSmiles, and I must say that even though I'm going to the dentist... UGG... I always leave with a smile on my face. Dr. Lee and her staff are so very friendly they make you feel at home. So far I have had two appointments with dental hygienists and my only interaction with the primary doctor is her check up, but everyone seems very honest and straightforward.
