I had an appointment for what I thought was an abscess in a molar, they got me in the next day and took X-rays and even used a camera to get a better look. First let me start by saying I am horrified of dentist! But Dr Wayne Wagner and dental assistant Celine were FANTASTIC! They both made me feel extremely comfortable, understood, heard and SAFE! I started having tooth pain and called Wagner Dental to confirm they accessed my insurance, indeed they did and immediately booked me an appointment. The customer service on the phone was great the woman asked all the appropriate new client info and set my appointment with no issues. I mentioned texting would be easier and when my appointment time needed to be rescheduled they text me right away and there was no miscommunication. My initial appointment was with Dr Nelson and dental hygienist Gloria. Both were great very friendly and explained everything from pricing to procedure. Dr Nelson identified a crack in my tooth and explained the next step would be to get a crown. Gloria did suggest a deep cleaning with hygienist kit, bacterial testing and liners with a solution. The cost without the crown was over $1000 I was taken by the price and for not having any cavities or doing a basic cleaning that was a lot to jump start a bill. She did however do over the bill very thoroughly with me and when I asked if certain things were needed she was upfront and honest and said everything was optional including the deep cleaning. Kris is the financial person in the office and I often think of a politician when she enters the room. I feel like her job is to give you the bad news as gently as possible without scaring you away. She sat me down and itemized each treatment and gave me the payment plan options. The discount is minimal 5% and is laughable. However never once did I feel forced. When I told Gloria and Kris I would not be getting the deep cleaning and wanted to prioritize the crown both respected my decision. Kris gave me the estimate for the crown which broke down what insurance will pay and what I would pay totaling over $1k and my charge was $736 I left the office and later called to schedule my crown appointment. The greatest thing Wagner dental did was accommodate my schedule. I explained to Kris my work schedule and when I was able to rearrange it to have a week day off she did not hesitate to fit me in on the day I NEEDED! Fast forward to today..... I met Dr Wayne Wagner and dental assistant Celine and WOW WOW WOW I love them! I literally wanted to give them a hug when I was leaving. I informed both of them of my fears or dentist and needles and both walked me through the process and was very compassionate about my insecurities. Celine held my hand because I'm a baby yes an old lady baby lol and Dr Wagner was super professional. I loved that he talked through the process I wasn't sure if that was his way of informing me of the progress being made or his way of communicating with Celine either way it made me feel informed. The process was smooth and painless. I am so very thankful for the professionalism these two had while working on my teeth. Obviously I just completed the process and we still have to see how good my body reacts to the crown. But overall I'm grateful for the tenderness and the unbeatable teamwork I received today. There is a down fall in my story I do think Wagner Dental is a bit over priced but with that being said they make the crowns in house and eliminating another visit and more needles it was worth it! read more

As my initial review states... My first encounter was great, got my treatment planned and future appointments (7 total) made before I left the office. Called 2 days later to push appointment #1 back and it pushed my early March appointments out until June! Went into the office with a bit of frustration in my voice and miraculously 7 appointments opened back up in March. So much so that 5 of them were in the same week starting with THAT DAY. As treatment went on, Dr. Wayne was patient and attentive to my needs. If I expressed discomfort in my teeth he quickly stopped and applied more numbing. When my teeth hurt after my fillings, the office quickly called over a prescription for antibiotics and ibuprofen. Today I left with my permanent 4 part bridge and couldn't be more happy. After calling for an emergency root canal, I was schedule 4 days later, and showed up to not even get my teeth cleaned and being handed a treatment plan with no actual work being done. Review were great but I would not recommend this dentist to anyone who needs work done or is in pain. They aren't responsible for the state of my teeth showing up there but not making it clear I was going to be waiting over a week not being able to eat just to have to wait another week Is going to make traveling to spend time with my family and daughter for the holidays miserable now I waited. Wagner Dental messed up our appointment due to misspelling our name AND not recording our correct phone number. We stood in front of the receptionist while she said "we can't find your appointment" for 10 minutes while the other people in the waiting room stared at us...rather embarrassing. Then she finally found our appointment but informed us that the appointment was cancelled by Wagner Dental because we didn't confirm the appointment...but of course we could not confirm the appointment because they didn't have our correct info and we therefore received no confirmation communications.Then the receptionist gave us a card to call to reschedule for another day! We asked to speak to the manager, and Heather came out to speak to us . Heather was very nice and tried to accommodate us but Kent Wagner, the owner, only offered to quickly squeeze us in between appointments and did not own their mistake by agreeing to any compensation whatsoever. In our opinion, only Kent Wagner's time is important, not yours. Wagner Dental completely wasted our time. In our experience, Wagner Dental's front of house was utterly incompetent and as a result we do not recommend Wagner Dental and we will never return there. read more

In these days where the Professionals have to hide behind the name of an LLC and you have a different Doctor each visit, I went shopping for help with much trepidation. All of the names on the door are Wagner's, I think these guys are second generation Dentists. Very competent, capable and pleasant people here. Their facility is so modern and up to date, I was concerned that their pricing would be pretty upscale, not so. Full examination, x-rays, consultation, planning and 4 extractions, all done with kindness and consideration at a very reasonable price detailed beforehand..... Dr. Kent has been my dentist for almost 20 years. I trust him with my dental care. When I first established as a patient I had deeply ingrained fear of dentists. Dr. Kent was so patient with me, kind and caring. I soon overcame many of my concerns through the building of trust. I get my teeth cleaned every 3-4 months by Brooke. She is thorough, professional, and the appointment is usually over before I know it. I have referred every one of my local family members to Wagner Dental including my father, husband and daughter. I have had to in an emergency out of town see other dentists and it was not Wagner Dental care. The other things I love about Wagner Dental is that everything is cutting edge technology; the x-ray that goes around your head, crowns made by computer right there while you wait, and the place is modern and immaculate. I recently had somewhat of a dental emergency and my regular dentist was at a conference, the dentist covering him was closing early the next day and was closed the next day for the Nevada Day. Yelp came through once again. I did a search for "emergency dental" and up popped several suggestions--some useless but some very good possibilities. I picked one of the dentists near me that had a good rating from Yelpers and I gave Wagner Dental a call. They got me in at 5 PM the next afternoon. I'm sure some extended their day to accommodate me. I was there at 4:45 to do the paper work and let them process my insurance. Before 5, I was shown to a normal dental office room and Dawn, the very kind, understanding, and supportive technician took an X-ray and checked other things. Within a short time, Dr. Cannon arrived. He looked at the x-ray and agreed with my prognosis. About 15 minutes later, I was on my way. The office was empty, another reason why I think they extended their day. It was very much appreciated. I have to admit, it had been a while since I had been to the dentist, primarily out of anxiety of finding a new one once I permanently moved to Las Vegas. I decided to try Wagner Dental on high recommendation from a trusted friend and they did not disappoint! From the moment I called to make an appointment, they made me feel so at ease. I was able to get an appointment at a time that worked for me within about a week of calling. I was able to fill out all of my paperwork online beforehand, so I didn't need to arrive crazy early for my first appointment. The office is clean, comfortable, and everyone was so friendly. I was greeted when I walked in, checked in, waited about 5 minutes, and then went back for x-rays. I don't remember my x-ray tech's name, unfortunately, but he was great and had so much personality, even first thing in the morning. I saw Dr. Cannon next - he was quick and told me both good news and things to keep an eye on, but made me so comfortable even through that. My hygienist, I believe her name is Shauna, was the highlight of my visit. She didn't bat an eye at my under-tongue piecing, and even cleaned it for me which I felt was above and beyond as I've only ever had dentists tell me I should remove it, especially during cleaning. She was informative without being scary, and super upfront about what insurance covers and upcharges before doing anything. She was a ton of fun and made my visit such a great and relaxing experience that, get this, I'm actually looking forward to my next appointment. read more

I've been going to Dr. Nelson for the last 2 years. I had horrible experiences with prior dentist in Vegas. They were always trying to upsell procedures that were unnecessary or just incompetent. The hygienist have all been very good and I've never had any discomfort or issues. I'd highly recommend Dr. Nelson and the whole Wagner group. If your dentist is recommending deep cleaning or questionable procedures that just don't seem right, go to Wagner for honest, caring people who will take good care of you and not rip you off or cause unnecessary pain just to pad their pocket book. read more

This place is ridiculous. I had my teeth scanned two weeks ago and no one followed up on making my Invisalign retainers. I was supposed to pick it up this Wednesday but apparently, no one knew that my scan even existed. I have been a waiting for my retainers since June. I have paid so much money on this thing 2 years ago and paid again for my new retainers because I lost it. Staff and the dentists in this location have no idea what's going on with their patients.
