As well, none of my showers will turn on and only the faucets will turn on. They left my house without explanation as to why the showers won't turn on, and they insisted that they did not break the tankless water heater. I had to call another company to come out tomorrow to repair my tankless water heater and figure out how to get my 3 showers to turn back on. I've been a customer for 21 years. I'm astonished how bad this turned out. Please think twice before using this company.

Since…read moreinstallation, I have experienced ongoing issues with the water softening equipment and have consistently reported these concerns to the company. I contacted Johnson Water on three separate occasions to report that the system was not functioning properly. A technician was dispatched twice, each time displaying unprofessional behavior and dismissing my concerns without thorough inspection. On the third occasion, I specifically requested a different technician and asked that the water be tested to verify the equipment's performance. Despite my request, the same technician was sent again. However, he did conduct a water test, which confirmed that the equipment was not operating correctly and that the water remained hard--just as it was prior to installation. These findings were confirmed in June, despite my repeated complaints beginning in February. The issue has only recently been resolved. I contacted the company to request a credit for the five months during which the equipment was non-functional. My request was denied by a manager named Kerry. I have paid for five months of service without receiving the intended benefit. This experience reflects poorly on the company's commitment to customer service. Based on my experience, I do not recommend renting, purchasing, or using services from Johnson Water Conditioning Co., as customer concerns are not handled appropriately or professionally. I respectfully request that Johnson Water Conditioning Co. reconsider its position and issue a credit for the months during which the equipment was not functioning. I believe this would be a fair resolution and a reflection of good faith toward customer satisfaction.

The greatest desideratum of any company is to find, interview, hire and retain employees whose work is meritorious, whose attitudes are contagious and those that treat all people and customers like they matter, regardless of position or status. Jeff leans forward to define his role and he has a true desire to help a customer not only understand what they have - but what they need and why - if they need anything at all. His knowledge and caring are obvious from the moment you meet him, and he is the epitome of what we should all seek in a technician and a company. No wonder DuPage Water has been around 67 years. Great company, great people, great integrity. The $139 was money well spent not just for the call but the knowledge that was shared about our system, the programming and for simply being honest.

Recently the brine control valve started leaking. Made a appointment and was scheduled within a timely manner. Albert, the service technician called with a time he arrived on our scheduled day. Nice, thorough man checked everything I had concerns with....that is testing how soft our water was and the inlet water screen. He replaced the leaking valve and everything is fine now. I understand that costs are going up but from $89 to $139 seems excessive to me. But....they know their business and do quality work.

I Googled well service near me and picked Water Well Services. I called at 07:30 and was told that the service man would be there right after he took care of a well in Crystal Lake. He arrived at 09:00 and had the new pump and pressure tank installed by 11:30. He did a great job and didn't mind me asking a lot of questions. I highly recommend Water Well Services.

First, let me preface this by stating the following: I love few things more than writing a glowing…read morereview for a local, family-owned business. I've been in a situation (more than once) where enthusiastic recommendations from local folks for service providers saved me the potential frustration of dealing with someone less-than-reputable. The Well Doctor, as it happens, were recommended to me in this fashion and now, having been graced with their expertise and expediance, I'm prompted to spread the gospel of their quality. Here goes. This previous Saturday, while eating dinner, I heard our well pump running with a frequency typically indicative of a bath tub being filled -- kicks on, runs for 10 seconds, kicks off.. 30 seconds later, repeat, etc. -- after this happened a number of times, I got up to investigate the matter. No faucets were running. Checked the basement, where our pressure tank resides, and noted the pressure gauge read a tad fishy. With each time the pump kicked on, it didn't restore the pressure to its cut-off, but instead would bump up 2-4 psi. Enter my concern. Begin my stress. Subsequent DIY research and investigation yielded no comforting news. I flipped the breaker for the pump and reached out to a number of plumbers and well experts, hoping for the best: A failing pressure gauge? Maybe the pressure tank, at worst? Surely not the pump, though, if luck is on my side. The majority of Sunday passed with no firm plan in place as to when, on Monday, I could get an appointment. Of the several companies I'd reached out to, I'd heard back from only two (one of which couldn't help me), but no scheduling could take place until Monday morning at earliest. My wife, in her infinitely resourceful way, reached out on the local community blotter (on Facebook) and asked for recommendations. Almost immediately, five respondants glowingly referred us to The Well Doctor, whom I quickly reached out to. Shortly thereafter, I received a call from Brian, who scheduled me for an early Monday AM appointment. The relief was already felt. An appointment. An idea of what was going on. We felt better already. Promptly and true to his word, Brian and his associate arrived at the pre-arranged time and very quickly and transparently diagnosed and educated us on the problem. He explained his recommendations, gave us a solid quote (which I'll add was, on the pump alone, about $600 less than a competitor's quote [a competitor who was unable to firmly schedule an appointment, I might add]), and upon approval, immediately got down to business. I can now say, on the other side of this debacle, that my expectations were bested by a long shot. Throughout the process, Brian would update us on his findings: the well depth is [x], here's how it will affect the quote, here's what we're doing next, etc. He estimated a four-hour project and completed everything in three. We felt extremely well (no pun) taken care of. All of this said, I'd without hesitation recommend Brian & The Well Doctor to anyone in a similar boat. If you're finding yourself with a failing well water system, reach out and get it sorted! Highly, highly recommended!
