Not only could they not tell me about the system that was installed a year prior to me purchasing my home (8/2017) They couldn't tell me how much it cost to change the cartridges, every year it's a different price like they're just holding you over a barrel. You have to wait until the tech gets done before he can tell you how much it is this year..lol! Received a quote from Angel Water for around $2300 for a reverse osmosis system install under my kitchen sink. I thought the price was high so I then did some of my own research. I ended up finding a competitor that offered a reverse osmosis system with the same exact NSF certification Angel Water tries to push as being unique and special to them. For the total price of $1300 I purchased a reverse osmosis system, a new kitchen faucet, and an entire new stainless steel kitchen sink tub. The $1300 also included install from a licensed plumber. If you found the company through Costco they'll try to sell you on Costco warranty and a Costco cash back blah blah. I would highly recommend looking at other options before you blow over 2k. read more

Service tech came out to do yearly maintenance. He went through everything and flushed the system. While flushing the system they backed up the shower on the other side of the wall. So we did not see it right away. Before he left he told me that there will be air in the line so I went to flush the air out of the faucets. That when I discovered the pool of water on the floor spilling out of the shower pan. Now I'm fighting with them to have someone come out and fix this. The service mamager told me he was going to get a plumber out to rod this. Then a half hour later he tells me he spoke to his GM and I'm outta luck. I told him to have the GM call me. After I hung up knowing they close soon I called the store and asked to speak to the GM. They took my info and told me some one will call me back. Knowing I have a drain backing up still have not received a phone call. read more

We had a issue where the Chlorine was not being pumped into the cylinder. The customer service representative had one of the service Techs call me on Saturday morning. Just in case we weren't able to solve the problem over phone we set up a service call for Thursday. Saturday morning the tech called, as promised, and he talked me through various scenarios of might be the problem, in the end his suggestion was to turn off the pump and wait for the Service Technician on Thursday. Technician, Zach called with an arrival time. He located the problem, repaired it and also did our yearly maintenance, saving us another service charge in October. Customer Service in our country is almost nonexistent. When you receive Good to excellent service it's worth the time to congratulate them and their company. The Operations Manager, Mr. Chris Hanson called me regarding the issues that I raised in my review. He explained me how this system works. I'm satisfied with his scientific explanations. He offered me some solutions to resolve the issues. Based on our conversations, I'm changing my rating to 4-star. Here is my original review: Purchased Angel Water system thru the Costco in May 2023. I'm experiencing the following issues: - Capacity Issue: I asked the Project Manager before signing the contact how much water I can pump at a time from a 4-gallon water system. His response was - the system would produce at least 3 and half gallon of water. I was getting little over 2-gallon of water. When I called the Angel Water, they suggested to add another 4-gallon tank to get 4- gallon water at a time. Basically, need 8-gallon capacity system to get 4-gallon of water. It cost me additional $210 on top of $2330 (original purchase price) to get 4-gallon water. I paid altogether $2540 for this very low-quality system. If I would know upfront that this system is unable to produce 4-gallon capacity, then I wouldn't go for this system. Also, it is not practical to add another tank inside the cabinet under the kitchen sink. The representative from Angel Water told me that they need to move the system in the basement. - Force Issue: the water force is extremely low. It was checked/verified by the Service Manager of Angel Water. In summery here are the points to be noted: - Capacity issue - pay for double the capacity system to get you desired amount of water - It is expensive - Flow of water is very low - Received misleading information about this water system for better decision of purchasing this system I'm extremely disappointment with this water system. I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy this expensive system. Only good thing I must mention that it is very easy to communicate with the representatives of Angel Water. Buy parts yourself if you can, and with little research, you should be able to. We were charged $284 for parts yesterday for our Fleck water softener head. And as you can see from Amazon screenshot we needed four parts from that page. If I add all the parts needed and used yesterday: ($19.96+$8.85 shipping)+ ($15.60+free shipping)+($41.70+$7.20 shipping)+($27.79+$7.20 shipping) = $128.30 for parts. They charged us $284 for $128 worth of parts. That's $155+ markup from retail price, or over 120% markup which is OUTRAGEOUS!!! There is no value added here, except to their bottom line, because all they do is more than double the price and sell you a part. OMG! This company sent a salesman out by the name of Bill Barnes. Let me tell you all about Mr Barnes who puts on a great show when he's attempting to make a sale. I don't usually leave bad reviews, but I feel they must be held accountable for a scam. Even though the salesman was very nice, he came out and checked my water and said I needed a new system. Estimate $3500 and a little more for a reverse osmosis. I called the company of the water system that I currently have, (Huemann), and he came out and said the system wasn't working and needed something small and service and would last for a lifetime with regular service. The fee was $211 and a little more for the reverse Osmosis to be set up at another time. I cannot recommend a company that recommends an unnecessary $3500 system. read more

CJ came out to service my 7 year old water softener. I had a problem where about once a week, a slug of water had brown color and silt in it. CJ was professional and on time. He diagnosed the problem to be that my softener beads had deteriorated and crumbled away. He came back 3 working days later and replaced the softener with a rebuilt softener. He was quick and efficient and I was back up and running. He drained the old cylinder and it had almost no bead bed left so his diagnosis was correct. I was not excited that I had to replace it but the water is chlorinated and very very hard here in LBS. Anyway, good guy, good diagnosis and good service. read more

We purchased EcoWater in 2016 for our kitchen. We have used Angel Water techs for annual services. Today we had Tyler A. to replace a filter and reset our system. He was on-time, very professional and quick. He explained what he did and what to expect. He said to call him should we have any additional questions. My only issue is their price for driving to our home at $159. The labor/parts pricing seems reasonable enough. I recommend their services 5-Stars. read more

Purchased angel water system thru the Costco , they promised to me "now you water will be cleared and not smell " but it's still yellow and smells like a rotten egg! They charged me around $6000 for that system!! I have a lot of friends who have systems from different companies and that system cost twice cheaper and they don't have that kind of problems! When I contacted angel water and explained them everything, they offered to me one more additional system for $5500 , so total cost willing to be around $11500!! How I said before, I have a lot of friends who install system with filters and softener for price around 6k for everything and everything works perfectly already for a many years! I already waisted a lot of time on a phone calls and waiting for technician from them and told them for a hundred times we have only two ways, first to remove that system and return my money or fix everything and it's should work as its was promised! But they still offered me additional system and a thousand explanation what we can try but water still smells and yellow! Stay away from that company, they a scammers! The last time I had it maintained, the technician, I think his name was Don, was excellent. He was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. He answered all of my questions and I felt confident. Have a Under sink Reverse Osmosis System which Angel Water installed 7yrs ago. I use them to replace filters as needed, 1 yr. And one time a new tank(old one became water logged). We have been very satisfied with the water and with their service. Excellent. We had used 2 different companies, and hope that by now one is out of business-serious ripoffs. I do have a basis of comparison and Angel Water has been professional, knowledgable, friendly, polite and never tries to sell us on anything. I used Angel Water for treatment of my poor well water. I had odor and iron issues. They marketed their chlorination system as a cure all (I believe the comment was that the water would be "pure" and better than city water). After a very heavy investment in the system, my water did improve. But it certainly isn't pure or better than city water. To make matters worse, when I asked them to check the system, their response was to tell me to buy a new water softener (my water softener was 3 years old). My biggest concern with this company is that I believe they are falsely marketing their products. In addition, the yearly service calls are very expensive. Last time they came out, the service tech was there for no more than 15 minutes and charged north of $200. read more

Angel Soft Water is a fraud! They came out to the house do a preventive maintenance service (approx $150). They did absolutely nothing, but tell us we needed a new water softener and went on to quote us approx $4000. The serviceman was not friendly and was not interested in servicing the unit (I don't think he did anything!). We subsequently had 2 other water softener companies come out, only to tell us our water softener is fine and we did not need a new one. If we needed a new the same exact unit that Angel quoted us $4000 would be between $1250-$1450 installed. Stay away from Angel Soft Water, they are not a reputable company! read more

I put the Angel Water system in when we bought our house. The water was very iron rich and smelled like rotten eggs. The system cleaned up and fixed the quality and we love our water. Today the tech came out, great guy, very competent. My only complaint is the very high expense of the service calls. We've averaged almost $400 but it was $800 today, which is a lot. I get the system needs cyclic changes of filters, gaskets, and occasionally pumps, but that's a lot of money! Ouch. Like I said great service, great product but you definitely pay for it. read more

Let me first say that if I was rating the technician, CJ, this would be a 5 star review. This was our first experience using Angel. A note to the business owners: you're lucky to have great tech like CJ. If it wasn't for his service, you would have handed me a license to broadcast this review across all social media channels. The only reason I'm not, is because of how great CJ was. We have a water softener that had been making lots of weird noises. When we finally got a technician out to our house, the service was fabulous. CJ spent quality tome looking at our water softener, and he explained some general maintenance tips to us that were very helpful. Unfortunately our experience with booking an appointment was so terrible it over shadows our experience with CJ. We booked our original appointment; husband had to take a day off work to make it happen. No one showed up. Reasonably so, we were upset. We called to reschedule for a Saturday morning appointment because it was on the same day as my husbands birthday. The Friday before our appointment we received a call confirming our Saturday appointment from 12-4p. We called them back to ask them to update it to Saturday morning (8-12), as we were promised. Unfortunately, we received a call Sat morning a little after 8am saying a technician had called out sick and so the replacement tech "might be a little late". We had to ask several times what this meant before we got a straight answer: they might be showing up after 12p. And, that's exactly what happened. Like I mentioned, our Tech was amazing. If we were doing business with CJ directly, we'd be coming back for more business. I guess if you're ok being jerked around a couple times and are able to accommodate a moving target for a service window, then you might be ok with this place. read more

It's nice to see a company that has management that will listen and respond in a positive and timely way. Whatever you do - do not use this company. I had them come out in OCTOBER 2017 to check out my softener. The technician was great and fixed the problem, but recommended getting a new one. He was supposed to send a quote and did but when I asked questions, never heard from them. ONE YEAR later, Angel Water called me to come out and check my softener. Anthony came out and suggested (once again) a new softener and said he would send a quote. 6 weeks later and NOTHING. When I contacted them, they said they would send a service tech out to check the softener and give me a quote. I scheduled it for Friday 12/14 at 10am. By 11 no one showed up and I called. They had taken me OFF the schedule. When I called and talked to the president of the company, Andy, he could really have cared less. Don't waste your time!!!! read more
