What we found was far more than expected! This nursery is a hidden gem with an incredible selection of plants, trees, and garden goods--all at extremely reasonable prices. We've now been back three times, and each visit has been better than the last. Today we had the pleasure of meeting the owners, Nancy and Ed, and they are wonderful. Incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what they do. Their entire team is just as friendly and helpful. They even had a fantastic Father's Day special--25% off fruit trees and fruit plants--which made our visit even sweeter. Thanks to them, we found the perfect additions for our garden, and this place has officially become part of our Sunday routine whenever we're in town. If you're anywhere near the Richmond area, Bushes Bushes is an absolute must-stop. They feature their sales on Facebook page and usually have a weekly featured $1.00 perennial. This week was delphiniums...my fave! They have a lot of great perennials in 2 inch cups for $2.00 which can't be beat...included lupines, various sedums, lavender, rosemary, etc. Their lettuce looked picture perfect. Friendly staff. Seasonal store and usually opens again around Christmas and sells trees, and these cute greenery gnomes. Due to that started following their social media and thanks to being close by we had no excuse not to stop by! So thankful we did! A perfect addition to the Lewiston downtown. The owner was so friendly and helpful, especially when I asked for plants that are easier to keep alive. Neither my wife or I have great luck with plants despite enjoying plants. He showed us all his thoughts of plants that fit the bill of what we were looking for! You could tell as soon as he stood up and started showing us the plants how passionate he was about his business! I can only imagine the vast amount of plant knowledge you could learn from talking to him! He also shared with us the type of plant his grandmother shared with him that started his passion and journey that in the end lead to Garden of Via becoming a reality. Prices for the plants seemed very reasonable and would recommend checking this place out. We ended up grabbing an air plant, that before coming here were unaware they were a thing. I think a few summers ago the girl who worked there told me every fresh item they sold is from Maine except the potatoes, which were from PEI. I wish the maple syrup and canned items were a little more local to Wales, but at least they are from Maine. My niece loved seeing the goats and chickens. Their fresh corn on the cob is the best around.

I've gotten introduced to so many new items (garlic scapes & pea shoots) that make meals at home so much tastier! There are various CSA options and pick-up spots ~ and the farm itself is beautiful and welcoming (and they have such a sweet dog!) The farm stand always smells amazing and they play the nicest music.
