They tested the system and said one of the zones on the controller wasn't getting electrical current and we needed a new controller. (It was working the last time we used it.) They replaced the controller, checked the system, and showed us where the shut off valve was. A few days later, a sprinkler was leaking. When I turned off the shutoff valve it turned off the water to the whole house. I called to see if they could talk me through shutting the leaking system off over phone. They said they no, but could do a service call in a week for $155 -- before repairs. I called another company, they came out same day, found the irrigation shut off valve and repaired the leak.
