They responded quickly, which was great, but I wasn't prepared for their unannounced arrival. The $250 service requested covered half an hour, under a one-year warranty. I still have yard water around the sprinkler, unsure if it's an improvement. They replaced a leaking sprinkler head and diaphragm, and I haven't seen issues yet, but I'm monitoring for any. Brannon and another team member from Sprinkler Master put down sod and dug out and fixed a broken sprinkler system in my family's home on 9/19/24 in the north end of Boise and they did a fantastic job. The lawn looks great, the sprinklers are functioning properly for the first time in months and Brannon spent time to carefully walk through how to work the sprinkler system with me (which was set up by a prior owner and was complicated). Just minutes after asking him to replace some leaking sprinkler valves, he got into a 30 minute conversation with a neighbor and when I asked him to return to work, he just kept getting side tracked with unrelated stories. We had a sprinkler leak and they came out and repaired and replaced a valve. Total cost 670.00 of which 40.00 was parts. I asked at the time if they would give us a quote to go through adjust sprinklers, add or move if needed and just make sure they were all working properly and watering where needed. That was on April 7th. They were to have a response by the following Monday, April 10th. Didn't hear anything. Called several times and left message. No response. On April 19th sent text message that if they weren't interested in doing the job, to at least let us know. Got a response same day with a response that they would try to get back that evening with the estimate. Now on May 2nd, still haven't heard back. Nice guy, but maybe in over his head. read more

If I could give more stars I would 100% without any hesitation!!! From the initial contact with Duque (Duke) to the end of the job this was such a great experience. I needed help replacing a couple sprinkler valves and wanted a spigot installed in the backyard. Duque came out pretty quickly as he was in the area, gave me a breakdown of the work and his pricing and I scheduled the work for the next day. I explained the situation, and my frustration with the other companies. They scheduled me for 2 months out, I took off work again, as they requested, and low and behold, they no call/no show. They also have a terrible business that doesn't respect the costumer or their time. What is it about this line of business? Recently moved to a new house within Boise where the previous owners had not taken care of the sprinkler system. Our previous "blowout" guy didn't want to drive to our new place for spring, so we had to find a new person. Two other companies never even bothered to return calls or emails. Sprinkler Master on the other hand was prompt w/a callback & was able to schedule us for spring turn-on service and some repairs right away. Good communication leading up to our appt w/txt reminder when on their way, and they've been good about following up. Philip arrived right on time & was super helpful walking me through our sprinkler system. He quickly installed & programmed a new control box, then explained how everything works. He tested the whole setup while answering all my questions about adjustments, and repaired/replaced several broken parts including digging up a broken sprinkler head entangled in muddy old tree roots. System is working perfectly now & repairs were affordable w/an easy mobile payment option. Will definitely be using Sprinkler Master for blowout & maintenance in the future. read more

These people are rip-offs. Had them out to check our sprinklers and the HOA had our water off which was not our fault. They charged us anyway for doing nothing and then the charged us again the next time they came out again for doing nothing. Don't use these people. Update on my dealings with Sprinkler Master. A couple of days after my ordeal with Jake, Matt came back out and made good on the repair. He also gave me a discount on parts because of the problems we had. And to be fair to Matt, the real problems I had were with Jake "the phone boy." He obviously couldn't care less about customer service, and was rude and obnoxious. It's been a few days now, and the repair seems to be holding, and all is working fine. Changing to a 4-star review. The online scheduling was great and Matt showed up on time on July 17. The service I requested was for the $65 sprinkler turn-on. Matt arrived and was able to open the irrigation valve. We then noticed that the gate valve was broken. Matt said he could fix it but would need to go purchase the part. Later that day he returned and installed the new valve. Everything works now. My main problem was the billing. I asked Matt how much I owed him for the valve and he said not to worry about it, that it was included. Two days, on July 19th, I received an invoice from Sprinkler Master for $237.50. This was quite a surprise and I texted Matt about it. He was surprised too and said he would call and get them to reduce the bill. Nothing happened. I contacted Matt on July 23rd, same story. On August 1st I contacted Matt a third time, same story but no result. Finally on August 23rd I sent an email to the address on the website. Long story short, they reduced my bill by a whopping $25 down to $212.50, a far cry from the original $65 fee I signed up for. On top of it, I then got a text from Matt that ended with "...so just pay the bill dude". I find it unprofessional and unethical to claim that a service will cost $65 and then change that without any notice or acceptance. I will never use this service again. -Nathan read more

My sprinklers on one side of my house had stopped working and few days had gone by before I even noticed it. I called a few sprinkler companies around the Boise area and most couldn't come out for at least a week or two. It was the heat of the summer and my grass was beginning to die. I called Dr Sprinkler and originally he told me he could come out next week, but when I told him my grass was dying he squeezed me into his busy schedule and met me after I got of work. I really didn't expect to get such quick service since I and everyone else in the valley just got their water turned on for the watering season....but they came out in two days. They did a great job and I happened to have some parts in the garage that could be used....they had no problem using those parts to save me money! Long story....will attempt to give the Readers Digest version.....Contracted with a 'local' blow-out service to well...blow out my sprinkler system....idiot who arrived, broke my shut-off valve located about 5 feet underground...said he would call me the following week to 'figure it out' and of course, never did...simply walked away (will see him in court...hear that Mr Weller?) and never returned my calls/emails. Three hundred dollars later to dig a hole and trim bushes by shut-off valve I needed someone to replace the valve that the original idiot broke....Called Dr. Sprinkler (Dan Hinkle)...came over that very day...gave an estimate...suggested various valves (from those that would simply do the job to those that would last through the lifetime of the next 3 owners!)....Arrived as promised on the day and time agreed upon...replaced valve, filled hole...CAME IN UNDER HIS ESTIMATE!!!!
