Sprinkles has been around for years and I've always driven by it, but never had ice cream from there. My fiancé and his friend were in the mood for milkshakes so we stopped by on Sunday evening. It's quite small inside and almost every table was occupied. In the glass cases at the front, you'll find cakes and frozen chocolate covered bananas they have for sale. They also have a standalone freezer with quarts of ice cream. Service was a little slow. There appeared to be just two staff members and it was busy. The flavors weren't displayed anywhere on the wall, so we had to wait until we got closer to the glass cases to see what was available. I ordered two scoops of Salted Caramel Pretzel. It was delicious, but didn't taste like it had any pretzel pieces in it. For two milkshakes and a regular size ice cream, it was just under $20. Their sign indicates they only take cash or Venmo payments, but we were able to pay with a credit card. read more

The interior is really nicely decorated, open and spacious and there are a variety of toppings, flavors and cones to choose from. I ended up ordering mint chocolate chip on a cake cone and my daughter got a mint cookie ice cream on a cake cone, and the flavors tasted so good. When I moved to the area I was downright amazed by the huge crowds that seemed to gather here. Every day this past summer it has been mobbed with people, all spilling out onto the front porch. I figured the treats here must be really tasty. The ice cream here is good. It's not amazing, it's not 'huge crowd' worthy, but it's good. I like the fact that they have some unique flavors here. For instance I had banana ice cream with chocolate chips and peanut ripple. I've never really seen anything similar elsewhere. They also have vegan ice cream if you're into that. cute place but I wouldn't recommend it in the evening nor would I recommend getting a milkshake. It seemed like everyone else around town also had a hankering for ice cream when we went so the line was out onto the patio when we got there and was even longer when we left. We patiently waited in line, got two milkshakes & a sundae, and got out of the crowd. When we left I finally tried a sip of my milkshake and it tasted like straight up milk. I just called it a loss and figured the other one that I was bringing home for my partner could easily be shared - except it was also entirely too milky, to the point that it wasn't readily recognizable as being mint chocolate chip. Sometimes the ratios are off, no biggie, so I took them both back to get actual milkshake consistency milkshakes. I was quite surprised when I squeezed by everyone and told them the problem...only to be told/asked that I should've specified thick or thin, that the two ingredients are milk and ice cream so of course they're "milky," do I want them remade exactly the same way with just milk and ice cream, and if they are remade it's still the same amounts so it will be similar. I declined the offer to keep the old ones in addition to the new ones. The new ones were slightly better but still thinner than any milkshake I've ever had. The sundae was delish, but the interaction with staff left a bad taste in my mouth (maybe it was just all the milk). read more

First time coming here and was surprised when we arrived at how packed it was! The line moved relatively quickly due to the fact the three employees were really hustling to get people in and out. We ordered a brownie sundae and a waffle cone with two scoops of ice cream. Was a little disappointed as they were out of some basic flavors which was odd to me... how do you run out of vanilla? They also didn't have any cookies and cream which is what I was planning on ordering. They have a ton of flavors so it was easy to find something else ... will definitely come back to try other flavors .. We love this little Mom & Pop shop... it's open year-round, which is a nice treat for those unseasonably warm winter days when you want a little treat. There always seems to be a crowd when I drive by late at night coming home from work. It is a cozy little spot that gives you a down home feel. I like sitting outside in the rocking chair and watching the traffic on the busy county line road. The staff is professional and courteous and very friendly. The prices are moderate and the icecream is always fresh and they have many flavors to choose from. They also have a wide variety of cones to choose from, my favorite being the oreo cone. I have had several flavors from here, the one that stood out was the Blueberry Pomegranate it was absolutely phenomenal. Adorable little Mom & Pop ice-cream shop offering 38 mouthwatering flavors! THIRTY EIGHT! While I can't personally speak about the taste, I can comment on the kindest, most gracious owners you could ever imagine. Just the signs around the shop say it all "we are not in the food business, we're in the people business" and "throw kindness around like confetti". They asked me where I was coming from and if it was my first time, which it was. I'm assuming this means they have a lot of regulars from the neighborhood. Love this! They even gave me treats for my dog which they allowed in the shop. So, so sweet! Prices were very fair. We left with a kids portion of mint chocolate chip (with big hunks in it), on a jimmie and chocolate dipped cone and two little chocolate covered marshmallows made to look like a scoop of ice-cream in a mini cone. So cute!! I personally would've chosen the chocolate raspberry chip, Bullwinkle or banana pb chip but no vegan ice-cream here. They do however have sorbet, rainbow and lemon. Toppings were just .50 extra. It's cash only and there's a tip jar. There's a dog bowl filled with water outside on the front porch. Rocking chairs and lights strands for at night. Despite being right on Township Line, it had such a small, seaside town feel to it which I adore. I found a new ice cream shop to take my kiddos to when we're in the area!
