I let her know what I wanted and she told me she could definitely accommodate my request while I waited. The shop smells so good when you walk in. I saw a peach rose for the corsage and C let me see the various ribbons she had and I told her the recipient is a jazzy lady so the sparkly ribbon she had I knew would be perfect. The end product was GORGEOUS! My play mother absolutely LOVED the corsage and was completely surprised. It looked so good with the outfit she had on. While waiting, I had a wonderful conversation with C. She had such positive vibes in the store with pillows on chairs, one saying "Love" and the other one saying "Always". I asked if this was a black owned business and she said "yes" and told me the history of the business and how her Dad had been a florist for over 70 years! When the corsage was complete, it was absolutely stunning! I told her I would be back for a special arrangement for my sister in August. I really enjoyed my visit here and will spread the word about this small black owned business so it continues to thrive. After finding out I love flowers, she was gracious enough let me pick out a single flower to take for myself. What wonderful customer service!
