Had a total different experience than my first visit. We were warmly greeted and enjoyed perusing all of the unique items. Customer service was outstanding and picked up a cute coffee mug.

Chicago local merchandises and vendors. I got my first REUSABLE COTTON COFFEE FILTER! Yay. 5-Star CUSTOMER SERVICE -- I called ahead for product availability and the knowledgeable Answerer offered to set aside the seasonal, scarce and sparse CHICAGO HONEY CO-OP honey. VENUE is clean and highly organized.

Cute little shop with some locally made goods with expected prices. There are a couple other cute shops around this block--worth a stop in!

    Ask the Community - Neighborly

Hi! I am looking for a place in Chicago where I can sell my solid wood furniture at. Does your shop do consignment or rent out spots? Or do you know of anywhere else I can ask? Thanks Debbie

No I'm sorry, we do not sell furniture.

How bazaar! This place has big deals in Little China! This…read moresouvenir shop has it all. If you wanna look like you've been to China with a bunch of Chinese stuff made in China, this is the place. They do have things relating to Chicago, but a lot of the stuff is just Chinese stuff that'll sit around your house gathering dust. Think lots of little statues, vases, cups, bowls. I feel like a bull in a China shop in here- all the aisles and merchandise is so jammed close together, that every time I turn around, I feel like I'm going to break some fragile jade egg or some bamboo vase. They also sell Chinese clothing, which all seemed a bit small for my tastes. But it's pretty. It's a shop in a nice location- it's sort of in the souvenir district of Chinatown- there's a few cool other similar shops on the same street, right in front of the Chinese archway that leads you into Chinatown.

Fun little souvenir shop with a wide range of 装饰品诀窍…read more(Zhuāngshì pn) which I think means knick knacks or decorations. They sell calligraphy pens but I wasn't able to write this, though I tried for a full 5 minutes. The staff is helpful, and patient. There's quite a bit of stuff crammed into a small space, and it ranges from the very cheap (and looks very cheap) the to the inexpensive (and doesn't look cheap) souvenirs to nice decorations. It's too tight with too many fragile items to bring in younger children (unless they are very well behaved) but there are lots of toys to give to children as gifts. Not surprisingly it's all made in China, including the Japanese sake serving sets which are quite a bit cheaper than you would find elsewhere. It's really fun to shop here, and you can't leave Chinatown with out some sort of souvenir, right?

I love a good punny name, this one based upon the name of the neighborhood (Ravenswood). I've…read moredriven by Ravensgoods so many times; if it wasn't here before I moved to the neighborhood, it opened shortly thereafter. This very tiny shop has a variety of items that would be perfect if you need to pick up a gift for someone. They have candles, greeting cards, jewelry, and several baby items. I ended up buying a cute little onesie that has is designed to look like the Chicago flag but with hearts in place of the stars. it's so cute and I can't wait to put it on my little ones. They had several other onesies that were cute. I mentioned to the shopkeeper that I wanted to get a little bean onesie, and she mentioned they carry them but they sell out so quickly and the woman who she gets them from is backed up in stock. It makes sense to me because they're adorable! I didn't realize they had them here so it's good I could pick it up from here if I can't find it elsewhere. Parking is on the street BUT you're in luck because the Brown Line station is half a block away. There's also street parking on Damen and possibly the surrounding streets (not sure, but because it's near a train station I'd suspect it might be permit parking on the side streets).
