We have been steady customers since Sprouts opened this location by buying out Sunflower Market. Conveniently located just south of Corrales, there is ample parking and convenient hours. The produce section is always stocked with the freshest products. The deli is very good. Vitamins are discounted when you purchase $100 or more (that is not hard, right?). The more I shop at Sprouts the more I like it. The have a lot of things my other grocery stores doesn't, like purple yams and some of my favorite supplements. That's why I came into this store today. I was visiting my mom and forgot to bring my magnesium supplements. I knew I could find them here so that's why I came. Sprouts is always clean and this one was no different. I love this store. we're here at least weekly spending $200 or so, for years. if there's not going to be human checkout available we will not be coming back. understaffed and overwhelmed - the one person at checkout had to watch the self checkout and when the line backed up, open a clerk checkout. maybe today was a fluke but if management is cutting staffing levels to force self checkout we are done. read more

This review is strictly for the online ordering and pickup, which potentially could have resulted in a much worse situation, so I think it's important that this is driven home. I've never had any issues inside the store. This morning, I ordered two items online for pickup in the early afternoon, since I already had a busy morning. I got a text two minutes later that my order was ready early, then a text that the assistant was outside, then another text that my order had been picked up! What?! I called the store and they put me on hold for so long that by the time someone picked up, I'd finished my coffee, gotten dressed, and was halfway there. They said they were sorry, there was a glitch in the system, it had never happened before, etc. I told them I would be there shortly. When I arrived, I called the number on the sign and told them I was there- it sounded like the same person. They didn't ask for my name, so I assumed they had seen my phone number, pulled up the order, and knew who I was. I was wrong. I waited at least ten minutes. Finally someone walked up- with a cart full of groceries. I had ordered two items online. He as if I was E.F. I am not. Now if I were a worse person, I could have easily driven off with someone else's huge order! He got my name and went back inside, saying they gave him the wrong order, and I waited another ten minutes. Finally I got my order. I'll be shopping the traditional way from now on. read more

I'm a frequent visitor to this store and the newer location at Coors/Montaño. I always find what I need but their prices are usually more than competitors. This location near Corrales has gone downhill over the past few years. There appears to be more flies in the store and landing on the fruit and vegetables than usual, which is unavoidable but for some reason, it's worse now. I can sort of deal with it as we wash and even spray them with vinegar and rinse them as a safety measure. But what really grosses me out is the men's bathroom. Ugh! It was dirty and smelly beyond imagination. There's little to no ventilation, the urinal was gross and there was urine and water in front of it on the floor to where I had to position myself strategically just to avoid contamination! WTH? I refused to check the condition of the toilet stalls. No thanks! I then witnessed a worker use a stall and he just grossed me out even more! Use your imagination. He did wash his hands, but in my opinion, it wasn't sufficient. I have never seen the butcher/meat department but I certainly hope it's clean and up to code. Same goes for the shipping department and dock areas. I just get a feeling management ignores the lack of cleanliness and proper maintenance. The owners needs to remodel the bathroom...IMMEDIATELY! It's unsanitary and unacceptable. I hope ownership and management read this review and make immediate changes. Otherwise, you've lost me as a loyal customer till renovations occur. Seriously, this place is bordering getting shutdown for sanitation purposes. read more

Decided to check Sprouts out as it's close to home. Went in to check the steaks. I must say I was impressed with what I saw. I selected 3 boneless grass fed NY Strips cut about 1 1/2" thick. You expect to pay more for grass fed and these steaks looked great. Grabbed 3 lobster tails to accompany the meal as well as some fresh asparagus. The steaks cooked up fabulously. The tails were so so. But a great meal. I'll be back to check the meat selections for sure. read more

this location is very clean and well lit. I was impressed to see all the sweeping up that was going on while we were there. It doesn't feel as crowded as it used to so I'm glad to see there's a room to move around. I can't stand grocery stores that are so packed that you can't move. The only thing I notice with the food here is I often buy items that are out of date. I usually don't check as I'm in a rush, and today two prepackaged items are past their expiration date. I'm not sure how that works but I wish that the stalkers or the company reps would make sure the stock is rotated and pulled properly. I really like the pre-made meal section and I wish some had less salt options as it would be a convenience for my husband and I. We managed to find two meals and the pre-made salads looked really good as well. I'd love to see more lower salt cheeses available in your store! read more

Did my weekly shopping yesterday at the Corrales location as always and had a wonderful experience for the most part. The deli young lady was not very pleasant and seemed like she didn't really want to be there when helping myself and the other gentleman before me. There were some really great sales this week too that I took advantage of AND the sweet young lady at the front even fixed my account so now I can get my points! I go there with my 2.5 year old and 14month old kids frequently to get groceries and other items. The staff is consistently exceptional towards them and myself. They greet us with a smile and always interact with my kids in such a positive way. The staff makes its such a welcoming place. I also cannot overstate the cleanliness of the isles as we search for new possibilities. Can't wait for our next trip. read more

Good on you for getting me through the doors of your overpriced store with the lure of $0.99 rotisserie chicken. There it was, the sign for the sale above about eight rotisserie chickens so I grabbed one and went to check out $9.99. I was told that the chicken with the sign over it wasn't the chicken that was on sale. They didn't actually have any $0.99 chickens at all. Did they sell me one with the sign over it for $0.99? One thing I always look for in a grocery store is this it clean? the store was very clean. The other thing is the staff, the staff were very friendly and helpful and they were all wearing masks. They also had some plastic separation protection for their cashiers They're not totally organic but they have quite a bit of organic stuff. They were working on making sure everything looked well stocked and orderly. The vegetables seem to be plentiful and for a typical family grocery store that seemed like they had a fair selection of organic items. They also had grass-fed beef and bacon that was uncured. They also have some individually prepped items which are good for a senior that may want to not have to prepare everything. They even have some Frozen organic items which were particularly of interest to me. They also had an extensive selection of vitamins and other individual health care items. Their baked goods are pretty good too they have half loaves of bread which I think you're really nice. I've been when it's been crowded and not crowded and the line through the checkout area has always been fast. It's a complete grocery store with about everything read more

I recently found out that Sprouts is charging for their grocery bags. 10 cents a piece. They claim they want us to reuse them. But the moment we put raw meat, eggs, chicken, or any of the thousands of items that are contaminated, by the unclean hands of the customers or their employees, the bags can never be used ever again for cross-contamination reasons. Grocery bags that haul raw, contaminated items must be disposed of properly, otherwise it's a public health risk. This is basic public health 101 knowledge. The wholesale cost of a plastic bags is minuscule and at 10 cents a bag, Sprout's profit margins are thousands of times the actual cost. This is 'gouging'. However, a pro tip from one of their own store employees reminded me that there are plenty of plastic bags available in the produce area for free. It's interesting that even their employees believe it's wrong. My whole life, I have been a person who voluntarily returned the shopping carts to the cart corral in the parking lot after using. Sprouts never paid me to return the cart. I did it because it's the right thing to do. Charging a dime for a bag is not the right thing to do. Strangely enough, I discovered the other day that it's a lot easier to leave my cart in an empty parking space than to actually return it to the corral. Naturally, I'm not advocating that the overcharged and financially abused customers should leave their carts in the parking lot, because that might appear to be a civil act of protest against a greedy corporation. But I am certain that the cost of paying an employee to collect those rogue carts or the missing revenue that Sprouts would experience when customers can't park and choose to drive somewhere else to shop won't outweigh the 10 cents they charge everyone for every single bag. It's Econ101, and Sprouts is failing that course. Oh poo, what am I to do with this cart now? That walk to the corral is way more than 10 cents worth of my time. What will I do, oh what will I do? Whole Foods, here I come. (The amount of extra gas I'll spend to go to Whole Foods will be worth it. They even have paper sacks , made from a renewable resource. Sprouts' plastic bags are non-biodegradable and environmentally unfriendly.). read more

I recently purchased a bag of Earth French Greens at Sprouts and cooked them the next day, using the timing and process I always use. Before cooking, I noticed many in the bag were brown and shriveled. The cooked green beans were tough and stringy. Very disappointing. I've been coming here for about 5 years. They are consistently good. I love the cheap prices for good quality produce, and the fact that you can find unique food items here that you probably wouldn't be able to find elsewhere. The options for organic or local produce are great to have - I like being able to support local as much as possible. The store in general is a little cramped, making it a little hard to get around, but it doesn't really bother me. The staff are always helpful and pleasant. They roast fresh green chiles here every year and the smell is AMAZING!! This store is close to my house, and while there was another one recently built a few miles away, I will keep coming here. I go to sprouts often and the place is always crowded. It is sometimes hard to maneuver your cart down aisles. And sometimes it's hard to find people that can help you whether it be find a product or ask a question if they have a product. When you do find that person they are so accommodating and friendly and they help you with whatever you need. I like going there for the cotton candy grapes which aren't easy to find. read more
