I noticed quite a few five star reviews for this joint on Yelp. This place is supposed to make the genuine NYC pizza with thin crust. I ordered 2 cannolis ($11) and an 18" Deluxe pizza ($25.25) with pepperoni, ground beef, mushrooms, sausage, onions, and black olives. When I arrived, David Wheelock, at the cash register, told me they had just removed my pizza. He handed me the box and said he had to go in the back to make the cannolis. I'm not sure if they really make them there or not, but they had lot of cream filling and weren't too sweet. The pizza had a lovely, crispy crust and a ton of toppings. I wish this place was closer. By the time I got home with the pie it wasn't hot anymore. Just warm. A very good representation of NY style pizza.

I've been in countless restaurants over the years, and every once in a while you come across someone who is simply exceptional at what they do. Taz was one of those people. She was warm, attentive, professional, engaging, and very cool. She seemed to genuinely enjoy taking care of her guests. She made us feel welcomed from the moment we sat down and played a huge role in making our breakfast meeting such a great experience. Before leaving, I actually sought out the manager, Shelby, and asked who hired Taz because I was that impressed. Shelby told me she did, and I told her it was a fantastic hiring decision. Then I got to thinking, whoever hired Shelby deserves some credit too. It's clear there's a great team and culture here. The food brought us in, but Taz is the reason we'll be back.
