I had another wonderful experience at Sprouts in Apple Valley! Daisy and Derek in the deli were an absolute pleasure to work with. Even though there were only two employees working the deli and they were clearly busy, Daisy immediately acknowledged me when I walked up. I was looking for one of the family meals, but they had sold out of the ones that were already prepared. Daisy was extremely polite and explained that these meals have been selling like crazy since they were recently introduced at this location. She took the time to check what was available and made sure I was taken care of. Derek quickly went to the back, made a list of everything they had available, and had my order ready in less than 10 minutes. He was friendly, attentive, and professional from start to finish. He greeted me when I arrived, thanked me when I left, helped with checkout, and even came to my rescue when I realized I had forgotten to grab a bag. The customer service from both Daisy and Derek was outstanding. Sprouts in Apple Valley has consistently been one of my favorite stores because of employees like them. Been shopping Sprout's for decades. Ten years up here, and we finally have TWO. I do tend to like this location better. Seems more organinized and less "messy" than many I've been to. A win-win for any Neuro Spicy brain. I find the prices very reasonable for the quality, which makes buying organic and cooking from scratch tasty affordable. Even my tortoise loves the fresh produce. Checking out this cold early morning was a sweet breathe of fresh air, with the cashier Jesse. So kind, caring, professional, and just a genuinely good soul, including service with a smile. Store remains clean since grand opening and music pleasant, which is always nice. Those who love farmer's markets know, we don't exactly have anything to brag about up here. When I needed help staff quickly assisted me in a friendly manner always letting me know that customers come first, The prices for the food is always spectacular and always super fresh. Our family have been avid Sprouts shoppers since it opened down the hill a little more than a decade ago. We began using Sprouts as soon as it opened in Victorville a little over a year ago. And now we are so pleased Sprouts has just opened a store a little over two months ago here in Apple Valley. Here are some of our early findings. The store is clean, well laid out, and full of fantastic products. Even more important, Sprouts employees tend to be very friendly and helpful in all their stores. For some reason, this is even more the case for their newest Apple Valley store where employees appear to really love their jobs and helping customers. At the risk of leaving out many whom we have yet to meet, here are a few early honorable mentions: Perhaps most important is Addison, the front store manager. Addison is thoughtful and respectful to employees and customers alike. Addison is ready to help shopping go better in any way necessary. On our first meeting, Addison got a derailed grocery pickup on track and personally brought our groceries out to us in our truck outside. The next time, he was ready to help round up handicapped carts for us to shop in the store. While shopping, he checked in with us several times to see how he could help. When we noticed the lettuce was out, Addison worked with Tam from produce to quickly get some out on the racks. It seems to us that Addison, and his kind and gentle leadership, are a major reason employees are so happy working here and help customers so freely. When we checked out, we were helped by a fantastic cashier (we forgot to get her name), and the cashier next to her, Danielle, came over to help us get our groceries out of the handicapped carts, onto the cashier's conveyer belt, and then back into the carts and out to our truck. What cheerful and helpful people they both were. Nota bene 1: One of us is a disabled vet who just got over cancer; we use the Yuka app to avoid products for toxic additives. Nota bene 2: Consumer Reports recently published a major investigation of Instacart using demographics pricing with ten companies. We canceled our Instacart membership after reading this. This was the straw that broke the camel's back for us; we have had too many problems with Instacart over the past few years. Hope a better competitor shows up to do the yeoman's work of helping those who cannot shop for themselves all of the time or for periods of time. We look forward to posting more on these folks and others we discover in the AV Sprouts store in the future. There is an employee name Eddie that works there. He is always walking around the store talking on his cell phone. We frequent the store various days and time and he's always on his cell phone. we went in on Sunday got there around 2:50 pm and left just before 3:30 he was on his cell phone the whole time. I'm not sure how he helps customers when he's always on his cell phone. it was the same way when he worked at the Victorville location as well. I find it unprofessional for employees to be on their cell phones while they are working. read more

Today's grocery pick-up was a struggle that could have been avoided. I did everything I was supposed to do by checking in prior to arriving and checking in that I was there. The app said "waiting for a runner". Okay, I waited patiently. The car next to me received their order. I still sat and waited. After 30 minutes, I called the store. The phone number had a voice system and hung up on me. I waited again. Looked at the app and it said "Sorry, we're experiencing a problem with your order. Need to come inside or reorder". I had recent back surgery and am having mobility issues is why I'm physically not going in and shopping. So, I called again and talked to someone. They said someone would be out soon. I asked about what was taking so long and they blamed it on a glitch with their "phone" and I should contact Instacart and complain. My order was for 8 items (2 chickens) and also, I did not receive 1 free bag of avocados as I paid for the organic bag $6.99 that was advertised. read more
