Outstanding food and service. It's definitely better now that the ownership has changed. The building is beautiful. We have been back there several times now.

My husband and I have been here twice from Barstow and don't have a single complaint - everything fresh off of the grill has been absolutely amazing and I would write home about the coleslaw. The mashed potatoes are to die for. We haven't met a rude employee at all - they are killing it for the restaurant they are & area they are in.

Had the chicken salad and apple cobbler for desert and they both were delicious! This was our first time here looking forward to visiting again

I've been driving past this restaurant for years and finally decided to try it out on a special occasion. I believe there's new ownership but I'm just glad we were able to experience this jewel in the High Desert. The restaurant is very spacious and there's a nice and chill vibe to it with the exposed wood look. It seems like it'll be a great spot to host an event for your friends and family. You seat yourself and our waitress (Riss H, who was amazing by way) came to our table immediately and gave us our menu and took our drink order. I'm also glad that it wasn't busy during the time we went because it seems like you could potentially be left waiting a while if you do have to seat yourself. I guess we'll find out later! With it being our first time, we definitely had to splurge on whatever sounded good and what we could compare with another restaurant. The wait time from ordering to plate on table was not that long. It's probably because our waitress (Riss H) was on top of everything. She made sure to check on us all the time and made us feel like we were regulars. She was a great help! Starting with the shareables; They were all AMAZING! The potato skins had the right crisp with refreshing pico. The corn ribs were elote approved and delicious. The pork belly bites were served on a bed of french fries smothered in bbq sauce; fries were still crispy even with the bbq sauce dripping from the bites. The onion ring tower were crisp'd to perfection! The crunch was loud and the sauces it came with were great (ranch and a chipotle type). The main entrees were AWESOME. Wifey had baby back ribs with mac and cheese and baked potato. Ribs were nice and easy to eat with slither off the bone, and the mac and cheese was creamy. Niecey had the picanha steak medium rare, baked potato, and the seasonal veggies. Steak was cooked perfectly to the request, and the broccoli and cauliflower was steamed well. I had the chicken alfredo flatbread, and it was a masterpiece. I just wished it was a little crispier. The arugula that is served with everything gives the dishes a dynamic that is unmatched. Dessert was ASTOUNDING. The churro dulce de leche cake with chocolate ice cream was a surprise and fulfilled the sweet tooth we needed after the tanginess of all the bbq flavor. The cake was warm with some crunchy texture that worked well with the coolness of the ice cream. We will definitely be visiting Town's End again!

Corn ribs - no seasoning, no flavor

Visited Town's End for the first time after the change of ownership. The place looks the same and service was great. The food and drinks were very disappointing! The espresso martini was terrible, really bitter. It was by far the worst espresso martini I've ever had! The corn ribs lacked seasoning. The coffee rubbed NY strip was a cheap cut of meat. It was tough and had a huge tender running through it so most of it was in edible. I ordered it medium and I got medium rare. I will give it to the owner, though, he did take the steak off the bill.

This place is a hidden gem located in Apple valley. It is under new ownership with an aggressive new menu with prices that you can't beat!! We had the poke bowl and an awesome smash burger with a side of garlic fries. Tyler was great and recommended a Cali orange beer with a peach twist which complimented the meal If your looking for a great meal at the price of a fast food spot then this is your place

It wasn't that good before. Still not that good. Happy my in-laws were able to enjoy their meals but even for them it was a come once and done. Over priced food for the quality.

I'll admit I was a bit skeptical at first. In my experience, salads at Mexican restaurants can sometimes feel like an afterthought: a handful of greens with a few random toppings tossed in. That definitely wasn't the case here. I ordered the Montecito Chicken Salad, and it completely exceeded my expectations. The chicken was served warm (exactly how I like it on a salad) and seasoned perfectly. It wasn't dry or bland like you sometimes get with salad proteins--it was flavorful and clearly prepared with care. The portion size was also generous. Instead of a few tiny pieces scattered around, there was plenty of chicken, making the salad feel like a full and satisfying meal rather than a side dish pretending to be lunch. Everything tasted fresh, balanced, and thoughtfully prepared. It's the kind of salad that reminds you a simple dish can still be done really well. Another thing that stood out was the service. The older women working there were incredibly kind and welcoming. You could tell they take pride in their work and in the place itself. That kind of genuine hospitality always makes a dining experience better. Music was at a tolerable level and reminded me of my childhood home, my mom played some great music when she cooked, cleaned or just vibed. Sometimes the most unexpected places end up being the best stops. Montecito Kitchen turned a quick lunch break into a really pleasant surprise. Next time I'm back in the area, I wouldn't hesitate to stop in again--there are plenty of other dishes on the menu I'd happily come back to try. Great food, warm service, and a salad that actually delivers. Definitely worth the stop.

The meat in these tacos was outstanding, with not one speck of gristle.. Homemade and better than my homemade. Order at the counter but food is served to your table, usually with a little bowl of chips and salsa.

Grinding their beef in house definitely makes a difference. I usually enjoy their Chickenator Fries but this time it looks like the recipe has changed. It still tastes good with their spicy sauces but I remembered that the chicken used to be pieces of grilled breast meat. This time, the cashier asked the chef if there was any chicken left for the Chickenator Fries. He said "yes," went to the freezer and showed her a frozen stick of ground chicken. Albeit, the ground chicken was seasoned well and tasted good; I was just expecting chicken breast meat. Also, the fries were very dark in my portion. They are still the same creamy textured Kennebec potatoes as before but seemed tired and old. Service was okay. They are not really set up for cash sales anymore since there was only 36 cents in their till for change at the time. Dining areas were clean but the interior is due for an update.
