UPDATE: Changed to 1 star. Idecided to call and see what the options would be for refund or to replace the order we took to-go. Same young man listened and said he "has to talk to the big boss" and could he give me a call in a few minutes. I waited about 5 minutes and he called back. He then said, "unfortunately the Manger in charge of refunds isn't in until tomorrow" (so, I guess the Big Boss can't issue refund or replacement) Now I have to wait for a call tomorrow to see IF they will do something for us. But the young man did, in a round about way blame the customer. "The lid was placed on it properly. We don't have control over when it leaves the building" I explained that the drive home shook the hummus off the baklava and the lid popped off, so it's our fault? He said, "I didn't say that. I'm saying there are a hundred different variables that could have cause this".... but none of them is the restaurants fault... Right? I'll have another update tomorrow when/IF I get a call. Hubby & I went here for lunch today. When we walked in we were greeted by a young man. He said we could sit anywhere we'd like and he'd be right over with menus. There was one table with patrons. We waited maybe 5 minutes and finally a young lady from the back asked if we had menus yet. No. So SHE brought us menus. Then the young man came by, friendly and politely although not very punctual said "what can I get you to drink?" Easy order. Iced tea and a Diet Coke. We ordered our lunches at that time because it was a long while before he finally came over. I got my pita, hummus and salad from the lady in the kitchen BEFORE our drinks. Waited. Waited. Waited. Hubby finally flagged him over and said, "Can we get our drinks now?" "Oh yeah. Ill be right back with those" He ended up serving the only other table their food before finally coming back with our drinks. I was already irritated. Maybe a little hangry. But, at that point I was over it. We never got a check. Walked to the register and told him we were done. We did take baklava and hummus to go. 2 lunches, 2 drinks, baklava and hummus. $80??? We finally got the hummus and baklava home. The young man apparently stacked the hummus on top of the baklava. During the drive, it must have slid off the baklava and all the oil and hummus leaked out of the container and all over the baklava and bag. Hubby was so disappointed, he threw the whole thing away. So, I guess, 2 lunches and some oily trash for $80 and HORRIBLE customer service. Giving 2 stars because what we DID actually eat was good. I wish I would have gotten the garlic paste the young man said he'd bring me. And wish we would have gotten to try the baklava we spent $27 on. Horrible experience. Won't be going back. read more

I always order delivery or togo and food is pretty consistently. Sometimes their meat can be on the drier side but it is good. I wouldn't recommend dining in though. Really really slow service and their location is a little hard to find. Servers were nice but slow service, food takes a while to come out also so def takeout is the way to go read more

Let me start off by how the restaurant has a home feeling. The people there are all so very amazing, he told us about stuff we didn't know in such a nice way. The food was absolutely amazing , we got the chicken and steak alone with there out of the world puritan and hummus: the food is simply delicious. Everything is so good! Omg, this was not what we were expecting!! The food was the best Mediterranean food we've tasted, you could say it was more like medicine. It tasted healthy and made us feel good. The service was great because it's family owned and operated which is the best you can ask for. The place felt homey and comfortable but not lacking in area specific decor. Even if you added the highest price range for each item, the total is crazy! I just wanted a nice lunch, and a bit of chat. I went home and felt like a total fool. When you go out to eat, you don't want to have your guard up, and have confrontation about what's right and wrong. Check Your Receipt Carefully We've visited this place several times and always felt like the total was higher than expected, but we never looked too closely, until today. We asked for a detailed receipt and noticed that while no extra items were listed, the total and tax didn't add up. It was roughly $3.50 more than it should've been. I got the souvlaki chicken kebab sandwich and it was amazing, plus I added a side of garlic fries, which was fries drizzled with their garlic paste. I thought it would be chopped garlic and olive oil, but the fries with garlic paste was super good and super garlicky which is what I signed up for. My classmate and I stopped here during our lunch break. We got the Chicken Kebab and the Steak Kebab. The salad and hummus that came out was delicious! We prefer the Chicken Kebab over the Steak Kebab because the chicken was so flavorful & moist. The Steak Kebab was more on the dry side. The rice was good and limey! I wish that they have given us some sort of sauce to eat our food with. We ended up using the hummus as our sauce. Ok this place is amazing. Their Armenian, I assume the cuisine is as well. The girl who greeted us was very friendly helped explain her culture as well as the food. The lule was delicious the hummus made fresh along with the pita bread they make in house. Even the mint yogurt made in house was quite delicious. This is the absolute best Mediterranean food I've ever had and honeslty I'll make the drive from the next town over just to have it . The food: The food was seriously amazing. I am not indulged in the Mediterranean food culture however I am capable of comparing and contrasting as I have had multiple Mediterranean dishes from LA county and this establishment is aligned with my expectations of Mediterranean food from Los Angeles county. Now keep in mind, I have had food from their Victorville location. So I was overly surprised that this was the same franchise. The Victorville location was disgusting - literally thrown in the trash after ordering and tasting it. However the chef at this location and on the day I went cooked the food amazing. Service: I'm giving 4 stars because the steak was cooked so long that it turned into beef jerky. Keep in mind, the waitress confirmed that all the meat would be juicy. Well the steak was not. And after showing her the inedible steak, it was never removed from my bill. Some things should not require a request. However, outside of this the service and the food was amazing and the server was extremely Knowledgeable of the dishes. Ambiance: This restaurant is standard of a restaurant in the high desert. The restaurant looked aged and lacked a modern flare. I switched tables and the new table I sat at had a dirty table covering (mushed food inside of it) and lacked a bench cover as I was sitting on the clear plastic which protected the white mattress padding. The music was awesome! It was loud but not too loud so I enjoyed my conversation with my guest and even had a few mild dance breaks, lol! Overall: Good food is hard to find in the high desert. We don't have too many options outside of Mexican food. If your looking for something culturally different with developed flavors, you would definitely enjoy this place. Side note: My guest was a professional chef. She literally makes dishes like these often and is familiar with the cultural flavor profile and she throughly enjoyed the food. Oh wow! This place was so good. Tried it today with my coworker during the restaurant's soft opening. I'm a big fan of Mediterranean food, and pretty picky about where I eat. I was very pleased with my experience today. The ambiance at the restaurant is casual, but thoughtful, with tablecloth settings and olive oil & spices at each booth. We started with the Baba Ghanouj, which was made with roasted eggplant and drizzled with olive oil and Sumac spices. So delicious and fresh. For our meal, my friend and I both enjoyed the Chicken Souvlaki Wraps. The chicken was perfectly spiced with pickled onions, tomatoes, crumbled Feta, fresh herbs and Tzatziki sauce. I got a Falafel Wrap to go for my husband (a former chef) and he loved it! They also have an awesome selection of baklava that you can either enjoy for dessert or take home.
