I stopped by the Sprouts in Simi Valley while traveling from out of town, and I was genuinely impressed with the entire experience from the moment I walked in. Every employee I encountered seemed positive, attentive, and ready to help with anything I needed. That level of customer service is rare these days and definitely deserves recognition. Assistant Manager Kim was especially amazing. She was energetic, vibrant, and incredibly kind. Even while she was clearly busy handling other responsibilities, she still took the time to personally direct me to the sandwich area and made sure I knew exactly where to go. Her attitude and professionalism truly made my visit memorable. The sandwich deli team was also outstanding -- fast, efficient, friendly, and professional. Deli Sandwich Review Only: I don't normally write reviews for grocery stores but today I found a hidden gem. I needed a quick bite, and saw lunch offerings at the deli that included pick a protein and a side item, as well as build your own sandwich! I decided to build my own sandwich, and was impressed with the amount of fillings for the price. And the freshness of my sandwich was soooo good: fresh sliced meat, it is a deli, fresh avocado and bread! All of this for only $6.99! The deli has cheaper sandwiches that are in the four dollar range too without cheese. With the quality and quantity that I experienced today, I'll be back wihen I need a quick bite or a sandwich for a picnic! read more

I already am not a big fan of grocery markets that mark up their prices but sometimes I can go along with it if their produce, meats and products are better than average quality. This place is definitely not the case.. their produce section was not only very empty but the fruits that were stocked had mold on a lot of them. It was pretty gross, especially if I was intentionally looking for good quality fruits to blend for my 5 m.o. And to top it all off, my wife typically puts things we need into the cart, and later at checkout I noticed my bill came out to over $300. I swear we only got 15 items, or less. This is Costco behavior, except I'm getting way less.. I checked one of the vitamins my wife got and for the same exact brand online it was literally half the price. Sprouts isn't just marking their prices up, they're literally trying to rob their customers. I am definitely never stepping back into sprouts again. No thanks. read more

I love this store for what they offer, but the employees make it such an unpleasant experience. Most of the people who work here seem to hate their job and hate their life. At checkout, they don't make eye contact, don't say hello, thank you or goodbye. Same with the baggers. No one says a word, just keeps their head down. It doesn't take any effort whatsoever to look someone in the eye and just say hello. Unfortunately, this seems to be a pretty common behavior everywhere you go these days. Sad. read more

I am beyond disappointed with sprouts because this grocery store has so much to offer- I came here for the sandwich special, two employees were in the deli taking sandwich orders. It was not busy at all and it took25 mins to make my turkey sandwich because they wouldn't stop socializing instead of just taking orders courteously. Once I got to work and got to eat I realized they got my order wrong - no mayo and no avocado which I paid extra for - you are better off just getting the premade sandwiches they have available on the fridge section. I love Sprouts, for the most part, and thought I wouldn't have to go back to shopping at Trader Joe's. Wrong. I'm eating a Sprouts grass-fed filet-mignon, and it's mostly fat & gristle! If my husband has to hear me talk about the only chain I've ever been impressed by was Wegman's in upstate New York - well, he would probably be grateful to NOT hear me mention it again. Sprouts gives me hope that there are options for specialty groceries that are worth a visit occasionally. One of the big draws is their bulk good section. They have several rows with various ingredients you can select and bag for yourself. This is great for bakers, snackers, people with large families, or those who want minimal quantities of multiple items. From nuts to granola, to coffee beans, rice, candies, and so much more - it takes time to just take in the options before you. They also have a lot of choices for those who need plant-based foods including "dairy" substitutions. I just discovered a new brand of plant-based sour cream that actually has the right consistency and taste. Yay! Some of the healthier snacks can be pricy, so shopping carefully makes for an interesting challenge. They have many varieties for gluten free baking, which is also a plus. The cashier who helped us check out was very friendly. She even recognized my husband as a frequent shopper at her previous job. Small world! Since i picked up some new gluten free flour the other day at Sprouts, I will be ready to bake another loaf of bread, searching for the best recipe I can find to make soft, bread, not a hard loaf like a brick. I love sprouts but frequently they remove products that i believe are selling , due to the fact that once i started buying now the products have disappeared from the shelves . One of the products was a Coffee/oat/ coconut milk drink By Nutpods. They still sell the creamer but not the coffee drink anymore . What also happened to the sprouts brand Hatch chili chips? Gone for forever ! First they used to be hatch seasonable now they are no season. Hot sellers because these items would fly off the shelves . You're driving me to other grocery stores. The produce shelves have mildew and mold on them. I came here hoping to buy healthy food without the toxins but then see the store itself is filthy and the groceries cost almost 2x more than the standard market. I would never buy prepared food. Been coming to sprouts at this location for the last five years always pick up a sandwich if my husband's working from home and they have been amazing good quality and a good price for a nice sandwich in the deli however, today I picked up a few sandwiches and paid 2.00 extra for bacon. When getting home in five minutes sandwich there was only one piece of bacon in each sandwich so they charged two dollar for one piece of bacon. It was undercooked an edible as well as the bread with art as I don't know how they could put mayonnaise and mustard on bread that's that hard and not realize it.. typical person working counter was not the one there today with a young girl she might've been covering, but you don't serve people to steal bread for a nine dollar sandwich. Also red onion comes on the sandwich as a staple regular item, but it was like two slivers and it had the red peel on it no actual onion. I had to take it out because you're not supposed to eat that part. Will make sure it's ok next time before leaving. read more

This dry atmosphere is ruining my scalp. I needed to oil my scalp STAT with a light and natural nourishing oil that doesn't promote yeast like olive oil, so I sought out the Sprouts lady down the aisle for help. I ended up being sold on an apricot kernel oil that is extremely light and delightful for both the scalp and skin...a 16 oz bottle for about $14. Let me tell you what: I may not understand the layout of both Bristol Farms and Sprouts as much as I do other grocery/supply stores, but what I do know is that Sprouts came through for me in the clutch with their vitamin/health care/natural care/body care section. I have a lot of friends at shop at Sprouts, I recently went into the Sprouts in Simi Valley. I had a great experience. I love that they offer samples for some of the items . The cashier told me that they're going to be starting program where I can earn money for my purchase, which I think is fantastic. I was greeted by a couple of the workers as I shopped that were stocking shelves. I thought that that was nice. All in all I think I had a wonderful experience, I will definitely be back. Every time I've gone in the afternoon the lines are long with only one person checking. He called for help a few times but I guess they were ignoring him. My mouth was coated with greasy chicken fat. It went down the garbage disposer. When I cleaned the sink your soup got on my hands. Those two were greased down. You can do better than that. Unfortunately I did not get names of those who helped me the other day, I do feel it's noted that there are still stores out there that offer wonderful service. They have the best sandwiches sometimes the line can be a little long because the deli counter can be a little slow overall the food is so good and I like my sandwich in the Panini press which makes it so toasty and delicious I wish they had self check out to make the line faster when the store is busy but they don't unfortunately but the food is really good I like getting a sourdough sandwich toasted with cheese turkey mayo and avocado it's so good! read more

I attended my weekly grocery shopping and on Friday April 4,2025 in the evening I was extremely disturbed by what I witnessed as I was shopping in the vitamin and hair section. I am unsure of what the names of the employees were but one had red curly hair and the other was petite with brown hair with a headband. I unfortunately overheard the inappropriate comments made my the lady with the curly red hair. She was talking down to the petite lady for over 15-20 minutes. I felt terrible for the petite lady because she was not being confrontational in the slightest bit and maintained her professionalism despite being spoken down to like that. I think it was unprofessional especially if a critic needs to be had don't do it infront of the customer. There should be a zero tolerance policy towards bullying. I would also like to mention I was not the only customer who witnessed this there were at least 4-5 people that passed by and had to be exposed to this. I look forward to coming to Sprouts and investing in my health here by buying fresh fruits, vegetables and my vitamins however if I see something like this again or if nothing is done I will take my business to another location. read more

I love Sprouts however, I had a bad experience today. I was ordering a sandwich from the deli section and I took a picture of the menu to send it to my boyfriend. And then a red headed woman working in the deli section mouthed to me "no pictures" and was giving me the stink eye.
