I stepped inside and walked to the clearly marked mobile pickup counter where I was thoroughly ignored by two employees. The third employee finally acknowledged me and I felt as if she felt she was doing me a favor by tending to me. Terrible experience at this location. Waited 30+ minutes to get my 2 drinks made when customers with large orders (who had entered the store after me) got their drinks and food items made before me. I had walked up to the counter after waiting. Employees were looking around to find my name and order on the screen. When I told them the order, they hadn't even made my drinks yet. Bad experience with the Manager at this location same day. Phone call was not professional at all on their end. Manager did not say anything helpful nor did they care about the bad experience I received as far as customer service. Had the audacity to say "your drinks were ready. Behind the counter" How is a customer supposed to just automatically know that their drinks are ready, & "just behind the counter" ? Typically you would call the drinks out or name on the order , customer comes to the counter and the drinks are on the counter. Not behind the counter with no name or drink order called out within 30+ minutes of someone waiting. I was a polite customer just as the others. Who didn't say anything until I had realized the way I was being treated for no particular reason. No one called my order I was standing there listening, waiting. Service: outstanding service. The cashier was a happy cheerful guy. It is a fresh breath of air when you see someone genuinely smiling at you. Food: this time I ordered their Island pitaya smoothie bowl. Honestly I did not even look at the name properly when I ordered. It said that it was a smoothie. I loved the taste of the bowl. I was not expecting it to be as cold as a smoothie. My teeth felt very cold so I had to eat it in 3 portions so that It can warm up a bit. I get the idea of a smoothie in a bowl but it is definitely not for me. I will rather stick with my smoothie than a smoothie in a bowl with a bunch of harder food items like granola and chia and banana that is hard to consume simultaneously with a really cold smoothie. The taste of the smoothie was fresh, banana looked as if it was just cut up, the granola was not too sweet, the honey added a nice sweet touch to the bowl. If you don't have teeth sensitivity to crunching on a cold smoothie then By all means go for it but I definitely won't. We had ordered a large drink and they made us a med he went to the back to get the dirty blender they had piled up in the back and transferred the original drink to a bigger cup added water to the dirty blender to wash it out and pour it to fill the bigger cup. Just got turmeric smoothies and chunky strawberry fruit bowls. The assistant manager Gabby prepared the bowls and she dropped the serving spoon on the ground and she picked it up and put it back in. When I mentioned it she denied it, said she's the assistant manager and wouldn't do such a thing, then said that she caught it mid air and it was the blueberries that fell on the ground. I travel out to Simi to pick up my purchases from a local store. So I've had the opportunity to do mobile orders several times. Mind you I only order the exact same drink. BUT this time.. I walk in and a few folks were waiting for their orders ( which I assume were placed before mine came in). New customers walk in- they order and are served within minutes. And I'm still waiting on my Pb&j pea protein w/ added blueberry smoothie. It took longer then it should have. I didn't want to complain to anyone. But man oh man. I should have just found another shoppe. It was the worst ever! It tasted like protein powder and water. It had no honey and the blueberries weren't blended properly.
