Went in to grab a few helium balloons. Bill was super nice and we had such a lovely conversation. My friend leaves around the corner and she always tells me how much she loves the market there due to their costumer service. Every time I was there (sometimes twice a day for work props or helping with snack selection for the craft table) the store has looked very clean, well stocked/organized.

Do you ever feel like dressing up just to do some of life's basic chores? You know, things like... Grocery shopping. Or maybe you feel like just walking the produce aisle with a full face of makeup just in case you come across your "Mc Dreamy"...(who's still watching greys?) Or Maybe, just maybe you have a crush on the the gal behind the deli counter and every time you come in you spend 60 dollars on Boar's Head honey ham just so she thinks you're a baller.. Well, if you are going to do any of the things stated above, I say Pavilions is the grocery store to do it!! Yeah, this upscale grocery store is a step up from its predecessor Von's and though there are many similarities, they do have their differences just the same. And just as Infinity is a step up from Nissan and Lexus is a step up from Toyota, Pavilions is that to Vons in which they offer a larger space for more specialty departments and few more bells and whistles that are sure to elevate your shopping experience. So... Break out your best Gucci loafers, Get your hair done, nails done, everything did (dedicated to all my Drake fans), Find yourself the least wobbly grocery cart for all that ham And... Let's. Go. Shopping.

Must buy! This gelato is amazing! I grew up in Italian and never thought I would be able to find authentic gelato. This truly has the chefs kiss! Thank you for carrying Nancy's Fancy Gelato. I will def. Be buying all the flavors!

I love this market and they are so kind to employ some of the nicest checkers and baggers. They produce is always fresh and the wines are RAD!! The fish is not so good so 1 star off for that HOWEVER, it's all great when you live in the Oak Park area and I was so lucky to be there for 5.3 years. I miss it and visit whenever I'm visiting my sister wife! TMI lol

I wanted a very neutral and elegant arrangement for my boss's wife and Bill did just that!

I had to run to grab my boss some birthday flowers for his wife and none of the pre-made flowers looked right for her. Bill asked if I needed any help finding anything and then very sweetly offered to make me something if I wasn't seeing anything I liked. He was very knowledgeable and helpful and made it a great experience. He gave me his advice on what was best to do while also making sure it was something she would like. He let me know they also do pre-orders! I had no idea. I will definitely be back the next time I need a beautiful arrangement!

Cherish the employees at this store. Their service is excellent and they are always pleasant. I love shopping here for that reason alone.

My freezer looks like a CrossFit gym for carnivores. The short ribs? Slapped. The ribeyes? Melted like butter on a therapist's couch. But some of those other cuts? Let's just say I've had warmer hugs from TSA. Look, I get it "blast frozen." Cool marketing. Sounds like something Elon Musk would do to a cow. He brought home a wrapped piece of cornbread, a pound container of vegetable chili, and a tiny lemon bar slice. For $15. What?! He reported that service was good. And the presentation for the little lemon bar in a fancy bakery box was lovely. My sticker shock had me questioning take out as a concept. Their soups are priced at $7.99 a pound, which seems on the high side. The soup was tasty, if a bit spicier than I expected. I did enjoy the beans included with the vegetables for added body and flavor. For me, the cornbread was too dry and flaky to be fully enjoyable. That was the least favorite of the items for my eating experience. Crumbs were flying everywhere as I tried to eat it. The lemon bar was overly petite for $5, in my humble opinion. It was very tasty, and not too sweet. The texture was on the dense side. My preference is a little lighter & fluffier. Overall, I appreciated that DH was searching for softer items I could eat while going through my dental issues. The cost seemed high for a meal that I mostly enjoyed, but didn't send my tastebuds to a heavenly place.

I was in such a rush while here I couldn't grab everything I wanted too, but I will definitely be back.

That was at about 1:56 PM. It dawned on me at about 9 PM what I would like to call a rookie mistake, except I am a senior citizen. In any event, a super helpful and professional staff person whose initials are Patrice, took her time getting down all the details. A day later I got a call from Thomas, I believe the store Director telling me that they indeed looked through their video footage and retrieved my $60 and would hold it for me. It took me a few days to get back in because I am not local to Westlake. I had a great fortune to meet Patrice for the first time. It was only when I came in to pick up the cash that I realized that she was the same person who had helped me on the phone. There is a lot of really bad news in the press these days. But I must say, my heart lifted way beyond the value of 60 bucks by the human kindness and graciousness that Patrice, Thomas and Vons in general bestowed on me. Who would've thought that my bonehead move would end up making me feel kissed and blessed by life. Thank you.
