    So much Tri-Tip! About $17
    Oliver P.

I was craving a Burger today and I've heard good things about Green Acres Burger so I decided to get a Cheeseburger today and it was really good! If you're gonna come here for a burger they only serve until 5:00pm! There's nothing like a Juicy Cheeseburger right off the grill and that's what they have at Green Acres! Fresh vegetables! Tater Tots were great and I love their BBQ sauce! Amazing service as always here and lots of places to sit and eat! Love this place!

The Sauce is Money! Sweet Heat!

Found myself on this part of town (Simi Valley) and had to stop to grab Brisket Sandwich. Green Acres did not disappoint. Their Habanero Sauce is Bomb & most of you know I don't do sauce. I like my Brisket n Tri Tip undressed. However this sauce is Amazing. After all that Texas and New Mexico Brisket while on the road last month I'll still say Acres is still better. Top Shelf in my book. Simplistic Perfection. Robert Nick Navarro still keeps the Crown for Best All around Brisket. Good way to start my morning and weekend The Sauce was so good the owner gave me a care package to take home. He knows I have Smoker Skills and am doing ribs this weekend. You guys are doing it right. Keep up the good work. Cheers! Six Navarro Pit Master

Where all the au jus went

The last two take out orders were messed up, I give up going here. First, they literally left out a sandwich. Now, they put the au jus upside down in the bag and it leaked everywhere, leaving only a little bit. It's like they don't know what they are doing or something. These last two trips have only made us frustrated so we will just avoid it here going forward. We don't need to pay for frustration. Guess what, a lid and foil doesn't mean you can toss the au jus cup in the bag upside down. We paid $ 30+ for our take out meal. What a waste.

Omg!! Dusty and Cody over at Green Acres for the WIN!!! This coleslaw chicken wrap and their chili and tots are absolute fire!!! The customer service is top notch and the food matches that greatness! Thanks guys!!!

The market itself is nice with an amazing assortment of sausages and marinated meats and pre made salads and other foods. *This review is about the outdoor BBQ. A fun, great smelling, mouthwateringly delicious, well laid out space. Brian took our order, he was kind and very helpful. Everyone there was great. We stopped, while searching for a place to eat, and the smoke and the smell brought us in. We ordered a 1/2 rack of baby back ribs, tater tots and Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. The ribs were perfect, not sauced (a sign of great ribs) with several fabulous bbq sauces to choose from. The tater tots were the exact crispiness you'd hope for and a generous serving. The Philly Cheesesteak sandwich was huge. A garlic butter grilled bun , piled high with tender tri tip, covered with grilled onions and peppers and melted cheese. I even ordered one to go and got the bun separately and I swear it was a a pound of meat. This is worth a 23 minute drive anytime!

How is their shrimp and scallops? Are they wet or dry?

Not sure what "wet or dry" means, but the scallops I saw today looked fantastic. (They didn't look dry, if that helps.) l Everything they put out looks super fresh and is gorgeously displayed. They clearly take great pride in their product. Hope… Read more

Their meats, fresh seafood, and specialty poultry are tender, juicy, and delicious. The quality really stands out, and their Japanese and Australian Wagyu are especially good. I can honestly say I've never been disappointed. One of our favorite purchases was a prime rib we pre-ordered for Christmas dinner. It was mouthwatering and perfectly seasoned, and it came beautifully wrapped and ready to go. All I had to do was pop it in the oven, which made hosting so much easier. Being able to pre-order prime rib and other cuts for holiday meals or dinner gatherings is such a huge convenience. Another one of our absolute favorites is their burgers. They are so delicious and beautifully mixed with a prime selection of meats -- you can truly taste the quality in every bite. They are always juicy, flavorful, and perfect for grilling. They also make deli sandwiches that are so good and full of flavor! Everything is made with care, and you can really tell they take pride in what they offer. On top of all that, their customer service is outstanding. The staff is always friendly, fast, and extremely helpful. They truly go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. Highly recommend to anyone looking for high-quality meat, incredible prepared foods, and exceptional service!

They prepare food fresh on the spot for you in the back corner. Note it is strictly to-go, no dine in options. The gentlemen in the store were incredibly hospitable and went above and beyond to answer our questions about how they prepare their fresh meats on the grill. Many, many thanks for the grilling demo! The marinated meats available all displayed in the case and they pull straight from there, it's fresh and made to order. We decided on a plate of chicken breast and a plate of beef lule (ground beef kabob). After placing our order, we had some time to browse the groceries and imported goods in the store. You'll find a wide variety of Middle Eastern and European goods. We picked out some imported Italian and Russian snacks as well as some lavash bread to eat with hummus at home. At home, we feasted! The meats are marinated and seasoned to perfection, tender and flavorful. The guys even cooked up a few pieces of pork ribs for us to try. And let me say, we may have to get a plate of just those next time!! The plate comes with salad (tomato, cucumber, dill, onion), hummus, lavash and rice. Don't sleep on their garlic sauce, that stuff is potent and HEAVENLY. Portion sizes are large and shareable in my opinion and prices are reasonable for the amount, and more importantly, the quality, of food you're getting. I wish I had some pictures but we inhaled our food before thinking about. Next time!

My girlfriend and I walk in and get taken care of right away. The place is currently small and are to-go only as they are expanding. I order the brisket combo with a side of pickles and coleslaw and my girlfriend got the tri-tip with macaroni salad and pickles. I also wanted to try the beef ribs so I got one on the side. As we are sitting down waiting, the guy in the bandana who took our order said that they had a big order call in so ourselves and two other people who ordered would have to wait. 45 min. - 1 hour later we are still sitting while the people who ordered after us got their food and left. They finally bring out the big order and continue laughing and talking while telling me in front of the customer that they gave him all the beef ribs and have none left for me. I was already pissed off beyond belief at all the other circumstances so I just said to substitute it with pork ribs. He ended up asking if I tried the brisket(which I already ordered, great attention to your customers, again) and put it in my girlfriend's box instead of mine who doesn't eat pork! While this whole shit show was happening, there was a whole line of people waiting to be served who literally came and went because no one was there to take orders at the register as they were in the back the whole time. A patron inside saw my situation and said that at least the food is good so I was excited to try it. It was probably the most mid bbq I've ever tried in my life. The tri-tip and brisket were dry. The macaroni salad tasted like pure dill, the pickles were sweet and honestly tasted store bought. The pork ribs were just ok. The food at Wood Ranch is better. Long story short: Don't go through this bs service for mid food.
