He gives you a quote for your job and requests a deposit to purchase the materials without even giving you a receipt for the materials. Then he shows up after 2-3 weeks increasing the quote/price right there before even starting the work. If you disagree, then he steals the materials that you've already paid for and doesn't give your money back! This guy should not be allowed in our community scamming and stealing from people. He sent a very rude message demanding payment because he said he had completed the work.. I should have ask for pictures before I sent full payment but he seem very reliable. Had a gas wall heater go out at my property. I called Craig at Spruce Home Services he and his team took care of the issue. Craig went over and offered multiple cost saving solutions. Came to change ceiling fan and install toilet. Arrive 9:15am. Leaves to get ladder. Does not come back until 3pm. Spends 5 hours to replace just toilet. No flanges valves or pipes. Material supplied. Opens fan box leaves parts out and never assembled fan hung it or came back to finish. Wife sends invoice For over 500 dollars Charges for moving chair ,a ladder rental for fan never hung and smoke detectors battery change($25 for changing battery that was supplied by me) fee for opening fan box and as sorting parts of fan $75 to dispose of old toilet. Never asked him to take it. Beware no equipment, scattered, unreliable, terribly slow, dishonest. May clean ok but handyman he is not. read more

If I could give this couple a negative 10, I would! I called Alana to obtain an estimate on cleaning my small 800 square foot cabin. Alana showed up and couldn't stop raving about how wonderful her handyman husband is. I later allowed them assess to my home for a simple estimate, while I was not home. HUGE MISTAKE!!!!. He left my cabin damaged and dirty! He almost felling through the ceiling and left my dry wall damaged. I have been trying to get ahold of them for quite some time now. They won't return my call, respond to my text messages or my Facebook messages. I found the damage later that week. They never called or notified me of what they did. I wanted an estimate for a new outlet, typically a licensed electrician would charge $125-$250. Craig's estimate came in at $500.00!!!!!! According to his estimate it he would bill 1 hour of work. Alana's estimate for cabin cleaning a 800 sq cabin came in double all other estimate. She quoted me $100.00 for basically changing sheets and cleaning one bathroom and small kitchen. When you see this "dynamic dual" strongly advised to "Run Forest Run" Please don't read that bogus review by Debbie K. It's a crock of lies! She can deny she knows me but I obviously have the proof! They were recommended by a friend of mine. He said they were the best. He was 100% correct. I am so happy with their work! They are a bit more expensive than others that I have tried but well worth it. I am talking about power scrubbing the shower stalls, dusting blinds and fans, moving furniture to clean, tidying up outside every entrance, and even both sides of windows and patio doors. They went the extra mile and even helped set up for expected guests and when I came home almost 2 weeks later it still smelled like they had just finished cleaning. They are friendly and considerate and even washed my dog's bowls and took all the trash, even my personal trash with them when they left, saving me a trip to the dump.
