The store is pretty organized as well, just wish they had dressing rooms but if you're a Veteran at thrifting, you know to wear tights and shirt so you can try the clothes on over your clothes. Music is always a hit there, too and I think its because of the sales people there. Maybe they go to CSUN (insert thinking emoji, lol). One thing that kind of annoys me though is how they place the price tags on their clothes, they staple them on. It hasn't damaged any of the items I bought but its quite tasking taking them off and most of their store is priced decently. Check them out if you're a thrifter, you wont be disappointed.

Large parking lot. I was donating items and learned, after going inside and tracking down an employee, receiving of donations is done "around the back." After driving around, we found the open bay, with a tent, but no employees. We unloaded the car, thinking someone would be out shortly, but all we heard was music from their radio. We didn't need a receipt, but it would have been frustrating if we did. I appreciate this organization and the span of their charitable works, but after driving to multiple thrift stores making donations, this locations seems very understaffed. He was so helpful and tried to help me identify the authenticity of my Le Creuset. He was very knowledgeable and educated me about how to evaluate and study an item. I'll definitely be stopping by here in the future. There's something especially disappointing about going into a thrift store connected to an organization whose mission is supposed to be helping people, being quoted one price, being charged another, and then being told essentially, "Sorry, all sales are final." Jackie and I were shopping here and she picked out 13 comic books, along with clothing and several other items. The comics did not have individual prices clearly marked, so BEFORE purchasing them, we specifically asked the cashier how much the comic books were. She told us $1 each. Pretty simple. Thirteen comics, $1 each. When it was time to pay, Jackie needed to unlock her card on her phone, but she couldn't get an internet connection inside the store. She stepped next door to Ralphs to get a connection and unlock her card, then came back and completed the purchase. When we got home, Jackie realized the total was much higher than she had calculated, so we looked closely at the receipt. 12 Books -- $12.00 And then: 1 "bric" -- $24.99 Excuse me?? Apparently the 13th comic book somehow stopped being a "book" and became a $24.99 "bric." But here's the part that really bothered us: that $24.99 sticker was NOT on the comic/backing when we originally brought it to the counter. We specifically remember that because the lack of a price was WHY WE ASKED THE CASHIER HOW MUCH THE COMICS COST IN THE FIRST PLACE. After the purchase, however, there was suddenly a $24.99 sticker on the backing behind that comic. I'm not going to claim I saw who put that sticker there because I didn't. But I can absolutely say what we personally observed: it wasn't there when we asked the price, we were verbally told $1, and afterward there was a $24.99 sticker and a $24.99 "bric" charge on the receipt. We went back to the store thinking this would be an obvious mistake that could simply be corrected. Instead, we were told "all sales are final" and that Jackie could only receive store credit. No. "All sales are final" applies when someone buys something and later changes their mind. Jackie wasn't asking to return something because she didn't like it. She was disputing being charged $24.99 for an item she was specifically told would cost $1. And please don't dismiss this as "it's only $23.99." That money matters. Jackie doesn't have money to throw away. She has a mortgage and bills to pay, and like many people, she shops at thrift stores because she's trying to stretch her money. We have the receipt and photographs, and we're posting them with this review so people can see exactly what we're talking about. Buyer beware: ask the price, take a picture if an item isn't marked, and CHECK EVERY LINE OF YOUR RECEIPT BEFORE YOU WALK OUT THE DOOR. Because apparently asking the price beforehand isn't enough.

I met one of the vendors at the Rose Bowl swap meet after buying a Late Registration tour shirt and was lucky enough to get their instagram for this shop. (@playoffssfv) So with plans to try to do some trading I packed some of my tees i wished to swap in a bag and came in on a Thursday around opening. Upon entering I was greeted by 2 of the vendors and I had quickly explained that I had some clothes that I'd think the vendors would see to be great trades. After their selections of which tees of mine they were interested in, I was lucky enough to get offers for credit at their personal racks set up within the store. They both had great taste and a lot of selection to sort through. In the end, I traded 5 tees that no longer fit me for 3 new fresh and colorful hits to add to my rotation. I think they gave me fair credit for what I had brought in, considering my 3 picks from their racks were priced at a total of an $80 value had I not traded anything in. Overall the style of clothes for sale at the vintage mall that is Playoffs were grunge, modern/vintage street wear, sports teams, and a lot of other off the wall pieces. You won't have to dig for long to find something you like if you're into pop culture. I'd return to shop, and even eventually try to trade again with other vendors there.

I will start by saying that you are lucky not to get injured by an item falling on your head when you try to pull another. The place is a mess and unparallel to any other thrift store in the area. The cherry on the pie is the woman's (owner?) attitude. I was browsing through some books who were piled up and as I was going through them I might have committed the horrendous crime of misplacing them (did I mention that section is the definition of chaos?). After I had moved to the CD section she comes over and starts yelling at me and complaining about how customers (species that are unknown to the store, as it was completely empty), misplace things and then she has to put them back (isn't that her job?). If after reading this review you still want to give this hellhole a chance do so at your own risk but leave an honest review (as the positive ones are obviously fake) about your experience.

It's a very large warehouse style structure, filled to the rafters with all kinds of everything. Plus, as stated, they have really great prices on their items. The main thing this thrift store focuses on is clothing. They have tons and tons of it. If you're looking for anything for a man, woman, child, you can probably find it here. They have suits, they have shirts, they have pants, they have dresses, plus they have tons of shoes. Some of the stuff you will find here is really not only on the scale of luxury, but truly unique. That's what I really like about this place, a lot of the stuff you can find here is really unique items, the kind you may not even know that you want until you see it. They also have other things for sale. They have a lot of electronic items, furniture, household items, and a little bit of everything else. You truly never know what you're going to find. That's probably the greatest thing about going to the shop. In terms of parking, if you can, I suggest you park in front of this business, on the street. That's the easiest way to get in the front door. If you can't do that, you'll need to park in their back parking lot. From there, you'll need to walk a fair distance to get up to the front of the store, past all of their warehousing and donation centers where you will pass by and tons and tons of stuff that they've acquired and they're gonna put up for sale. Thus, if you want to see a real unique collection of a whole lot of stuff, then park in their back parking lot, because as you walked to the front of the building what you will see will be very revealing. Overall, this is a very fun thrift store to go to. You truly never know what you're going to find. And, they have a lot of great stuff for very reasonable prices.

Parking is in the back - the street is narrow and spots are limited, especially on Wednesdays because they have a good deal, 25% off from 8am-2pm. Store has plenty of rows of clothes, plus a separate kids' section. I found a nice Dooney and Burke purse for gifting, a new throw pillow cover, and some dress pants. Prices are great for most items, though I did see a few pieces priced over $100 plus because of the label. Paying in cash is better since they charge 4% fee for card payments. which my cashier didn't mention, I could have saved more. A good place for thrifting, just have the patience to check all of them.
