I went in today because of a "Low Power Mode" issue. The Tech took it out for a drive, ran diagnostics, cleared the issue, and then took it out again. He came in, explained what he did in detail, and told me if the problem occurs again, to call and get it on schedule. Every time I have used Bayside Auto, there has never been an issue. All garages were overbooked with work and even though the same was said for 'Bayside Auto' this business took care of our needs and replaced the Alternator and battery late afternoon Friday! Was in the middle of my roadtrip without knowing my alternator was shot and ended up stranded at a Valero about 5 minutes from the shop. Someone fueling up recommended this place and I'm so glad they did because I would've ended up getting a tow to the nearest dealership if they hadn't. Matt and his team were wonderful. I went for inspection but had to go back for multiple repairs. Fortunately they properly diagnosed and fixed a headlight issue that multiple auto body shops have gotten wrong in the past. These guys are a bit on the pricey side at $110 per hour, but I went because they are close to my job. I got a coolant flush and some other miscellaneous work done. They did the coolant flush with coolant instead of distilled water and charged $25/gallon for coolant. Every mechanic that I have seen uses water for flushing so that they don't have to throw away a bunch of expensive coolant. I am also hard pressed to find undiluted coolant for more than $18/gallon at consumer retail prices. $240 for a coolant flush is far too much. Unless you want to pay Bayside to do the job in the most expensive way possible, take your business elsewhere. I certainly will. read more

Recently had my Front rotors and Front brakes replaced. The service was great. Appointment was at 8am and the car was rolling out of the parking spot at 8:05. Test drive, then into the garage. 70 minutes later I paid the bill and rolled out. Prices were cheaper then two others called and the people were very friendly. read more

We were traveling in an F450 and a 38 ft horse trailer with live horeses and had break troubles. They we so very accommodating and got us back on the road quick. We had to un-hitch the trailer and remove the horses and they offered water for the animal's. Very nice place and great customer service. Would like to thank them very much. Fantastic work, fair prices and above all HONEST!!! I can't say enough great things about their customer service both in the shop and at the front desk. I went in seekimg some advice to repair the muffler on my old truck and witness something rarely seen today - Matt and his crew took time out of their busy schedule to repair my muffler, welding-in new steel, and cutting out rust and rot and didn't charge me a dime.
