$1M+ house. The inspection report I received was a boilerplate one. The few problems that were…read moredisclosed were explained as "very minor" and not needing attention. In the weeks that I've owned the house I have discovered the oven does not work, has likely never worked, and the warranty ran out a month before I bought the house. The electrical lighting in the kitchen does not work. The thermostat on the 2nd floor does not work. The heating in the 2nd floor bathroom is not effective. These are basic issues. They should have been identified, reported, and the Seller should have been asked to fix them as standard procedure in the contract. Inspect Maine walks away without any accountability, and I am stuck with the thousand dollar bills, in addition to a $40k new septic system and a $30K house painting project. It goes without saying that this was a disappointing experience, and that I cannot recommend this company.
