They use terrible replacement displays for the iPhone 7 that has poor color quality and touch functionality problems. Like randomly refuses to allow you to type "q" and instead will type "w" every time you try to tap "q." Ihave an iPhone 7 and I decided to use ICracked because they'd come to my house and it seemed convenient. A very nice guy named John came to my house and repaired my slightly cracked screen. Before he started he had this plastic slab that he laid on my kitchen table and placed my iPhone 7 with the display facing down. John then had a business card and proceeded to slide it under the phone and through that test told me that my phone was bent and therefore would not be able to get their repair warranty. I grabbed my phone and looked at it and there was and still is no visible bend, but he assured me this test proved that it was indeed bent, though he admitted it was only slightly. So, he repaired my phone by replacing the display. When John was finished he ran through some diagnostic tests and it appeared to pass all of his tests. I paid him and he left. After he left I looked at my phone and initially noticed that the new screen was noticeably different all the colors appeared more muted in colors and brightness. Initially I thought maybe my brightness was turned down to low, but upon checking the brightness was all the way up. The next night I had my phone on my lap as I sat on the couch and it hit the light in away that I noticed this new subtle crack that came from the home button and curved right across the bottom corner of the display. You can barely see it and it's really only visible when you hold it at a certain angle. John had given me his business card with his cell number and encouraged me to call him in the future directly instead of going through ICracked. I called and left him a detailed message explaining the newly discovered crack. The next evening I realized that John never returned my call so I called him again and left another detailed message. The third day I decided to call him earlier in the day instead of only in the evening. I left him another detailed message. Then my wife got involved and she contacted iCeacked and then the next day he called and I wasn't able to answer and he left me a message and only stated that because my phone failed the "bent test" it had no warranty. Since that time my new dim and muted display keeps having more and more problems. The touch screen doesn't work consistently in the upper right and left corners where back buttons and done buttons are located in apps. Often times I'm unable to type on my keyboard because the letter I touch isn't the button that is activated. For instance I try to press "C" and instead it thinks I'm pressing "H" or "G." The touch screen is inconsistently responsive in general. With various different gestures and touch functionality. When viewing websites it's overly sensitive and selects text when I'm trying to scroll. At least once a day, my touch screen won't work at all. The only way to get it to work is by forcing my phone to restart by holding down the power button and both volume buttons all at the same time. Another thing that often happens is that when I open the camera app to take a photo it will be stuck on a burst photo and the only way to get it to stop taking a burst photo is to force the camera app to close and try again. This is obviously a very poorly made display and has terrible quality and isn't worth the price or the convenience of ICracked services. I think they know the displays have issues and that's why they void out all warranties with their "bent test." I will never use ICracked ever again. And hopefully neither do you. read more

I used to have a prime membership with these guys. I once broke my iPhone 5 times or so over a summer. Each time they came to my apartment and fixed my iPhone for a great price. However, several times I would find small flaws with these new screen repairs and would have to call them back to fix it. And those visits everyone hated. Overall I enjoyed my membership with them and liked not having to worry about my screen breaking. I am no longer a member because they changed their policies and the membership didn't fit my needs. read more

This service was great! I loved that he came to me. He did a great job repairing my phone. It's been four months and everything is still working great. He was really respectful and helpful. He let me watch and answered lots of questions (even not phone related) and was really personable. The price was consistant and the best I could have found for the work. Cons (reason for four star): didn't quite get there in the time frame mentioned, but his delay was understandable; didn't give me the warranty because my frame was slightly bent -- which is understandable, but I would have hoped for at least a part warranty. read more

This company looks like it was great, but they have now been bought by Square Trade Go. The new company's phone number just has a recording telling you to go the the web site. No way to talk to a human. The web site lists Salt Lake City, Murray and Holladay as supported locations, but when I entered my zip code it said the area is unsupported. Whu?? And the site says "All Devices", but then they force you to choose from a list of 11 iPhone models and 1 Galaxy S model. Totally unhelpful. read more

My Tech was named Chris Johnnie. He came to my place of employment (a dimly lit bar) and gave his best effort. After 15 minutes or so he gave me the option of letting him take my iPhone 5 with him to have a closer look. Hesitantly, I agreed. Once I was off work I met him at his office to find a brand new looking phone. So pleased with the service and quality. A little pricey but worth it. Where do I start? I was traveling and staying in Brigham City for a few days. I ended up dropping and breaking my iPad screen on my first day in town. I had sent in for a quote through iCracked which put me in touch with the local repair person, Gerry. Gerry called me within the hour of sending in my inquiry and I had also received a text message. Gerry explained in detail what he does, warranty info., etc... After giving me a quote, decided to also have my wife's iPad screen replaced. Made arrangements to meet later that evening at my hotel's lobby. I had to bump our meet time a couple of times and Gerry says "No problem, just let me know when you are back and I will come right over to pick up your devices. I text Gerry, and within 15 minutes he arrives at the lobby. Gerry explained that he did not have one of the screens readily available however I explained that I was okay with an alternate color. Gerry gave me his price, offered a multiple device discount and said he would have these ready in the morning before we checked out. Next morning comes, we are set to check out at 8:00am... Gerry walks in at 7:45, both iPads in hand, greets me with a smile and says I have your iPads for you. He shows each device and walks through each function to show that they work properly. Gerry even placed screen protectors on both devices. These devices both look as good as new!!! So I write Gerry a check, thanked him and we parted ways. I sat back down to have breakfast and Gerry walks back in to the hotel lobby with cash in hand, hands it to me and explains "I forgot to deduct the discount that I promised you from your total". What? This is just amazing service. Gerry went way above and beyond. I am writing this review on the iPad that he fixed and I'm happy to be back in service.
