If I could give this place a half star I would. They double charged me for the same service. I was charged $114 twice by this "so called" car wash. When I explained to the manager that I was being charged twice, he just brushed me off as an idiot trying to get over on them. My bank finally got everything straight, and reimbursed me the $114. They also lost my garage door opener. The young man who vacuumed my car claimed no knowledge of what could have happened to my garage door opener, but I know that they lost it. Hadn't been here in 2 years but just got my car washed. I specifically wanted the Ultimate for them cleaning the console. I got in my car and the console wasn't cleaned and the seats weren't vacuumed. I was told someone started on my car and didn't finish though I watched one guy clean my entire car. Then he claimed the vacuums wouldn't get everything out my seat (a little glitter). I asked him to go over it again. He did but not to my satisfaction. I then asked him to reclean the console which hadn't been cleaned at all. He cleaned it but they're attention to detail is non existent. I'm not sure if there's been a change in management and it hurts me to leave this review after having been going here for so many years prior. However being that I've spent $25 on a less than superb job hurts me more. Unfortunately I have to finish the job at home. They just lost a customer. read more

The women's restroom is disgusting! Looks as if they clean it maybe once per month. The lady that is paid to sit at the desk and just ring people up is quite rude and lazy; hands me my receipt and tells me to sign...while I hunt for a pen on her desk - I feel bad for having interrupted her day with my money. The service is unusually and extremely slow with 1.5 workers washing cars. They really should inform people BEFORE we make a purchase if the wait will be longer than usual because they are short staffed. They only get 2 stars because the car is clean and the 1 little worker guy was busting his back. Service and review 3//15/18. So I came to get my car washed just the basic wash because I'm in a rush but not that much of a rush so my basic wash consist of just that and then they vacuum the inside clean my rims and my windows OK so far so good right well why when I get in my car it looks as if it was not vacuumed and I'm still finding trash under the seat he didn't even dust inside my car my windows have streaks and smudge and I gave him a tip I guess you get what you pay for but I could have (which would have been RUDE)skipped the tip and when I thanked the young man for cleaning my car he barely opened his mouth and barely said thank you for the tip I gave sweetie you get what you put into it, my overall experience a C- read more

Terrible! been here a couple times already and my car always ends up with dirty spots. No attention to detail and overpriced. Last time someone stole a pouch with coins i had inside my car. Not only that, after they finished "washing" my car (which i paid an overpriced hand wash) a part of my cars body-kit became loose. I decided to get my car detailed because my trunk was a mess from hauling two big bags of sand. Since the car wash on Hudson bridge road gave me such poor service I tried this one as the next closest. When I got there I said I needed the trunk cleaned and I'd buy whatever level of service that required. I agreed on the top level. Watching them clean the car it became obvious they weren't going to do the trunk. I asked about it and they did do it but acted like it was a favor. I asked the manager and he said they do t do trunks. I can understand such a policy but I specifically asked and was told they do it Ultimately the car looked great, the trunk was clean, the price was great ($25). I am only posting because I am so tired of needing to monitor work to be sure I get what I was promised. I did get it but I don't want to have to ask when it was agreed to up front. I visited this car wash three days after I purchased my brand new vehicle (2016 GENESIS). This was towards the end of July 2019. This would be the first time I would wash the vehicle. The car was exceptionally clean when purchased. I drove to this located and turned my vehicle over to them to wash and vacuum it. It was sent through the car wash. When it was brought it, the antennae cover was missing. I didn't notice this at first but did so as I was about to take possession of the vehicle. I immediately notified the guys vacuuming the vehicle. They went back inside the car wash and located the cover on the ground inside. I asked them if they would have this repaired because it was on when I brought my car there. I was told the manager wasn't there but would be back shortly. The young guy in charge (at that time) told me that he had been instructed by the manager (via phone) to glue the cover back on with super glue. I was not pleased with this answer because there was a chance that it would come off. I wanted it professionally done, with a warranty. I'd just purchased a new vehicle that was in great shape when I arrived at this car wash. One hour later- the manager finally arrives. He immediately said he would not repair the cover and there was nothing he could do about it. He was very disinterested, rude, obnoxious and showed no concern for my vehicle or the damage that had been caused at this car wash. I was beyond belief with this man!!!!! I then took pictures of the damaged part and asked for a refund. I had not brought my vehicle there to be damaged AND then had to pay for it!!! THIS MAN WOULD NOT REFUND MY MONEY!! I asked him for the name (s) of the owner(s). He would never provide this information and told me HE was the only person I needed to talk to. This man was very unprofessional, unpolished, and have off the arrogance of a "red neck" racist!!! As I left this establishment, I could tell many of the workers (young, African American teenagers) felt empathy and concern for me. They also knew that I had been wronged by this man!!!!! I figured he probably treats them the same way. As I drove off, I knew I'd probably need to pay to repair my own car. But, I knew I would NEVER, EVER visit this car wash again!! ATTENTION: This business is full of THIEVES. I went to get my car washed and oil changed; upon returning to my car my wallet and glove box was opened. Several employees were in and out the vehicle, and the supervisor promised only one employee was assigned to a vehicle. This was a lie... Cash and credit cards were STOLEN. A request to speak to the supervisor was made, but the supervisor did not want to cause a scene in front of other customers and asked me to leave the scene. Sunday 2/5/17 it sprinkled a little in the morning time but by 10am everything had cleared up, not raining the rest of the day. I called up there to see what their hours were for the car wash and they said they were open till 5pm. Went right up there it was about 12:30 drove up and a woman came out all she said was " car wash closed due to rain" I said I just called up there and she said "I know we gave you the hours". No "I'm sorry we should have told you" no, come back another day and we will take care of you... no nothing. Just rude. For the amount of money they charge you would think that they could hire honest people. I talked to the management and they brushed me off. I have gone here several time before. I was just shocked by the treatment and mishandeling of the business. I will never go back. I would not give this place one star,but you have to put something. I stupidly have used them numerous times. Today was the last straw. They weren't supposed to close until five. I dropped of TWO cars at 2:32. I needed oil changes. They called with their, "we need to charge you $89.00 to change radiator fluid (both cars mysteriously had same problem). I said no. I can do it at home for $11.00 per car. A few minutes later (not enough time to do one oil change, let alone two) they called and said I needed to pick up my vehicles they were closing. I said, "my kids are in the middle of getting their haircut." They said they would wait. Ten minutes later, they called and said I either pick up cars now or they would lock them up. I told them my child was in the middle of a haircut. They said they didn't care. I had to leave IN THE MIDDLE OF A HAIRCUT to get my cars. This is not my first problem with these people. The first time they broke my inside passenger door handle and I called the manager. He never got back to me. After that, they wouldn't honor car wash (rained out). This is the final straw. Like other reviewers, I learned the hard way that Squids customer service is highly lacking, at least insofar as management goes. The last time I went, the cashier charged me three times for my car wash, two times the first time and then the one time that I authorized. Although she voided the first two charges, I had a question about how long it would take to go back into my account. She called the manager, who, instead of apologizing for the mistake, got a serious attitude with me. Would it have really killed him to say, "I'm sorry," or be polite? Apparently. Then to top it off, the people cleaning the inside barely vacuumed it. I still had dog hairs everywhere when I left. I would have done better vacuuming it myself. I've been there three times total, and the cleaners never smile or say thank you when you give them a tip. They always look miserable to be there, but given the manager's attitude, I can't say I blame them. Basically, the nicest person there is the guy who asks you what wash you want, and the oil change guy was nice. Of course, the latter guy was nice because he wanted to talk me into a service I didn't need, but that's a whole other issue. However, I will give Squids two stars because the car did look better coming out than going in, even with the dog hairs, so I'll give them that. read more

Went here for a oil change and car wash the day before Christmas. I paid like $90 total for the wash and oil change gladly!! The wash was ok but the mechanic claimed I needed a new air filter. I let him change it. Ok so now I know my car uses synthetic oil. So they changed my oil and put the wrong oil in my car. A synthetic oil change is for 5000 miles and I only got 3000 according to their sticker. Plus they used the wrong oil in my car when my engine cap clearly states DEXOS additive. Got over on me for the money. Will never go again!! Only deals with basic cars; if you have a nicer newer vehicle stick with the top of line oil change places like the dealership!! read more

The most disrespectful service I have ever gotten in my life. Manager Chad from Squids Car wash and lube does not know how to talk to customers. I simply asked him a question about my invoice his response was why are you BITCHING. I asked him is that how you speak to customers he said well I did all this for you and your bitching. I was very upset at his tone and his wordings. I told him to follow me to where the register was so I can pay. And I asked him in front of all the customers do you treat all your customers in this manner when they ask you a question on the invoice " WHY ARE YOU BITCHING?" at that point he knew his job would be in trouble so he lied about what he said. I was at the car wash on this past Friday and as your employee was cleaning my car he pulled the seat up to the front and the seat got stuck. He called some people over to try to fix it but the seat would not go back. A young lady told me that there was nothing they could do and that it was not there fault. In my opinion it is the company's fault because my seat was working fine before I got my car cleaned. The fact that they took no responsible and then had the nerve to just leave me up there with my kids to figure it out. The employees just closed up and went home, didn't ask me if I needed anything they just left. You guys have horrible customer service and my car was not cleaned on the outside or inside good. I recently got an oil change from an Express Lube and the technican informed me my oil change at Squids had been improperly done, They documented what they had found on my receipt. I took it to Squids where I spoke with Christian Schultz; Christian told me he was the owner of Squids, but found out later he is the general manager. When I confronted him about what had transpired, he became very defensive and abrasiive. The bottom line of this story is ...he called me a "stupid bitch" .... said he could talk to me any way he wanted to ..and did so in front of two of his employees and four customers standing outside waiting on their cars. I came here about 2 weeks ago. I can't give no stars at all so I'll give one star. I feel okay about giving one star but ONLY because of how the cashier went completely out of her way to help me, when all the other employees just didn't seem to care at all. My car was supposed to be vacuumed with the wash I purchased. I understand you can't always get every little piece of dirt but the seats had very obviously not been vacuumed at all. The guy in the back that helps you pick a wash when you come in told me they would be vacuumed. He also told me I would receive an air freshener because I was getting the 19.99 wash but it was not in the car. I watched the kids cleaning the car and they "cleaned" the windshield from the drivers side and missed a lot of area on the passenger side. And from what I understood they are supposed to dust the dash but that wasn't done either. The cashier came outside and fixed all my problems by herself because the two people that cleaned my car were on another car, and was very polite and apologetic which made me feel better about the whole situation. But I feel I shouldn't have to complain for my car to be done right the first time, I paid for a better wash that included the things I wanted done, so they would be done. I've sense been back (today) and my car was the same way. I was going to complain again but the cashier from last time wasn't there and the cashier at the desk was on the phone so I just left. Please do not take your car here for an oil change because it could cost you more than you bargained for in the long run!! I brought my car here for a simple oil change in 4/13, so according to the mileage it was time for another oil change. Well, I decided to take my car to Tires Plus because I also needed a tire rotation which came as a package deal. Needless to say Tires Plus would not even touch my car because when I got the last oil change completed by Squids they screwed my bolt to the oil pan on too tight and now it won't screw off!! I was one angry customer. I was advised by Tires Plus to take my car back over to Squids to inform them of this information. When I got theier I was greeted by Christian (manager) who informed me that I was fed a bunch of B.S. by tires plus and they just wanted to get additional money from me. He became upset and stated that they didn't do anything wrong, he has regular customers who have never complained, and basically talked to me like I was an idiot. Of course, you're not going to take responsibility for a major screw up like this. He gave me the opportunity to bring my car back on today so that Chad could look at it, but I informed him that I was not going to bring my car back to them, because I already have a potentially major problem that they created!! I was also informed by Tires Plus that I was the second customer that day with the same issue as a result of work completed by Squids. I wish I would have known back then what I know now. This is by far the worst experience I have had since being a customer for over 3 years. I own a 2012 Altima and had an erie feeling the minute I got their that something would come up missing out of my car. I asked the car wash attendant for my key sensor back to insure that it would get lost. Needless to say that an hour later after checking my car, a pack of cigarettes came up missing. Now, a pack of smokes is a trivial thing to get worked up over. However, after speaking to Christian Shultz, general manager(general a**hole), I was blown off as well. The customer is always right no matter what the situation is. I should have been reimbursed, but instead was told not to return. Besides, why would I make a big deal over a pack of smokes? The General Manager was even there at the time and instead of trying to find a solution to the situation, he actually blamed me in the theft of my own sunglasses. The radio display screen on a new 2013 Honda CR-V was scratched which apparently occurred when the dash area was being cleaned. This was the very FIRST time the car had ever been washed. This damage was noted and brought to the attention of the supervisor on duty and a written incident report was made. After reaching the general manager, Christian, he would not honor the complaint or seek to resolve it in any way. Basically, he denied that their personnel could even cause such a problem. This display screen was not damaged or scratched in any way prior arrival at their facility, but after their employees finished with the washing drying, vacuuming, and cleaning process; the radio/backup camera display was found to have a scratch (1.5" long horizontal scratch in lower right area). Christian would not accept responsibility for any repairs. I asked if this could be escalated to his manager and he said he was the owner and his word was final. DO NOT GO HERE! THESE PEOPLE STEAL OUT OF YOUR CAR AND MANAGEMENT DOES ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ABOUT IT!! Today I went to get my car washed and I had a pill bottle tucked DEEP in the glove compartment. They are NOT supposed to go through your glove compartment. Before I even pull off I open my glove box and my bottle is GONE. I asked the two men who worked on my car if they took it and they just said they aren't allowed to go through the glove box. I told him I know that you're not supposed to, BUT YOU DID. I asked to speak to the manager on duty who was this girl named Mehgan. Mehgan took the two men in the back, where I couldn't see, and searched them. She came up with nothing. I told her I wasn't going to pay for this car wash since someone stole my stuff. The entire time they kept reintegrating that they are not allowed in the glove box, when I keep telling them that someone DID, regardless of what the rule is. The men kept denying it, Mehgan basically told me I'm out of luck and she can't give me a refund. I asked her to search the men in front of me, she wouldn't do it. Needless to say when I got home I looked through my car and found the pill bottle EMPTY, UNDER THE SEAT. When I pulled in to get my car washed it was FULL, IN THE GLOVE BOX!!! How did it get under my seat, empty???? DO NOT GO HERE! I even sat outside to watch them clean my car and they were bold enough to take advantage of a young girl and STEAL From me with no empathy and respect! Absolutely awful, ratchet, place.
