I had an appointment at 11:30 with Andrew so I sat around for 15 minutes and I can say I have never felt so laid back at a Barber Shop in my life. With the hilarious conversations between the barbers and the casual but old school environment I fell in love. Everyone there was super nice. Had Burt cut my hair and trim my beard. Exactly what I wanted on both. I didn't have to explain for 6 hrs what I wanted, he knew what I was talking about and asked all the right questions. During the haircut he was really friendly and just a nice guy to talk to. Flew into Seattle and spent a few days there before taking my family to Hawaii. The barber shop I've been going to was pine and scotch. Great barbers but they were unavailable, new location and prices went up 10$(and parking is horrible). So I was bummed but the people from scotch and pine recommended squire. I booked my haircut with Myles. He was quiet(that didn't bother me at. I kinda like it that way)and this guy knows how to cut hair! It was one of the best haircuts I've had. Dan is the man! For the past six months, I've been trusting Acme Barbershop with my hair but I've always had issues with the way they cut my hair. I'm in town in need of a nice haircut for the upcoming Seattle-Portland Bike event on 7/13/13. I found this place on Yelp...and...decided to take a chance. Erick is a great professional. I asked him what kind of haircut would look on me. He recommend the "Shadow Fade" with a tapered back. I had no clue what that is. 1/2 hour later i will not only ask for a "Shadow Fade with a tapered back" when i see my barber back home but i will always ask for Erick whenever i am in Seattle. Let me start by saying that David is a phenomenal barber! A good barber is hard to find but boy am I glad I tried this place. During my first visit David and I spoke briefly about the style I was looking for and then he went to work. About an hour later we were all said and done. I have never had a beard trim and was a little nervous to let someone else cut it for me, but David really knew how to shape a beard. When the we were all done David sent me off with some product in my hair. Unfortunately after I washed the product out of my hair I noticed that my hair was a bit longer on top than I had wanted. The next day I called David and he said I could come in get that taken care of. Due to scheduling conflicts I couldn't make it in for 2 weeks but David still took care of the excess hair on top. Now that is what I call customer service! This was a phenomenal customer experience and this will be my regular barber from here on out. Thank you David and the team at Squire! read more

Squire is a great barber shop. I was able to book a same day appointment with Myles on a Friday. I decided to get a parted hair style and Myles knew just what to do. The cut and styling turned out great. He also explained to me how to style my hair. I was pleased that they charged $24 dollars for a regulars men's cut. Which I think is a good price for the quality and the fact they are in downtown Seattle. read more

I take my son here to get a hair cut every so often when we head into the city center. Regardless of which barber you get, they will spend a good amount of time clipping any loose hairs and getting it right. I love the atmosphere and there's no rush here. We usually get there early and walk around Pike Place Market, then head over to get our cuts. It's better to call in advanced to get an appointment as I've seen it pretty busy with walk-ins. read more

This place has an awesome vibe and they did an excellent job with my hair, but the barber who cut my hair had his Square minimum tip set to 35% ($8.40)... Honestly the guy deserved the tip, but the fact that 35% was the minimum tip amount I could select was outrageous. The owner has assured me that you can type in your own amount (I must have missed that option) and that typically the minimum is set to 15%, but each barber can set their own. Again, excellent work, attitude, and atmosphere. I just was taken aback when handed the screen to pay. read more

They told me another barber, Dan was available the next day. Went in there this morning and seriously got the best, most professional, crafted, and down to earth experience ever!
