Moved to Seattle last winter and tried 4 different barber shops around the UDistrict all of which were pretty bad. This shop had great reviews so I checked it out. The haircuts are great, usually takes a half hour, just the right amount of time. I set up the next appointment after each cut for convenience and to make sure you can get an appointment when you want because it's a busy shop. Can't beat the price ($32) and the customer service is great. read more

I moved to Seattle in September and I really have had a tough time finding an even half way decent barber was impossible to find. I had been to several places cut my hair and no matter how much I would pay I was never happy or got the hair cut I wanted. One day at my job a guest had the best hair cut I had seen in town. He told me he came to Squire and tht Erik was his barber. I called several times hoping to get a same day appoint ment and never had much luck. I figured it must be worth being patient, if the place was that busy!!!! IT IS!!! When I showed up I was also growing out my first beard and had no clue what to ask for. I explained to Erik what I thought I wanted and he knew exactly what to do with me, my hair and my new beard. The prices at Squire are moderate. The location is convenient. It has always been a fun experience. It reminds me of a modern version of the old school barber shops!!! I've watched all the other barbers at work and they have always left everyone getting out of their chair looking like a million dollars!! read more

Brian is a great barber. Having had David cut my hair a few times at the old location I popped into the new spot not sure I'd be able to get a seat/cut. Within a few minutes Brian had an opening and did a perfect job. The guy is a pro, just like David. I would recommend calling ahead (as they mention above) just to see if they'll have time to squeeze you in. They are often fairly busy but it's a comfortable place to wait.
