I've been coming here for over 20-25 years, and even though I moved away about 10 years ago, I had to stop in when I came back to town. Walking up and seeing a familiar, friendly face from my childhood (Mrs. Lauren ) it instantly brought back so many good memories with my late great grandfather. The smiles, the conversations, and of course the ice cream are still the best around! Places like this are rare these days--you don't find that genuine kindness and care everywhere anymore. So we went to Squire's in Elkton and i tell you i should have went to DQ, because we was on line and two people was in front of us, but i noticed a young couple at the ATM, when they was finished they didn't go to the back of the line Nooo they stood on the side next to us. So the lady at the counter was going to help them in front us but the guy in front of us. but she helped the guy in front of us but she said that they ordered something but the place takes CASH ONLY. Will never go back here again. Lady serving was disrespectful and not welcoming at all. If you're a person of color I highly recommend not to go here. This ice cream stand is easy to miss. It's attached to a little gas station. I discovered this stand this summer and love everything about it. The line might be really long, but they are extremely fast. I've never waited in line for more than 3 minutes. Theyre are over 30 choices of flavors. Coffee and pistachio are my favs. read more

Ice cream is pretty good, but nothing special. The cash only thing is pretty ridiculous in this day and age. The staff is incredibly rude, makes jokes that are sarcastic and not funny.
