Great staff and and wonderful fresh menu of delicious meals. I could eat here every week without any regrets. The food is always perfect!

"...AFFORDABLE CLASSY DINING IN BEAUTIFUL BEAUMARIS..."…read more Last week we enjoyed a gorgeous three course lunch, with some fair dinkum QUALITY Aussie chardonnay, at the GRANGE STEAK AND GRILL in bayside Beaumaris - it was 10 degrees cooler out here [than in town] - that sea breeze was just so lovely... The whole experience was first class all the way: - elegant digs - silver service - fab food So thanks to Ben - the head guy - who made it such a pleasure - a really lovely person who kept serving us for an hour after they'd closed - we arrived very late - kinda difficult at present to judge the Chrissy traffic...!!! Anyway, over the course of 2 hours we ate and drank... and really truly thoroughly enjoyed the following: -Grilled rustic bread -Chargrilled asparagus with Spanish prosciutto -Grange salt and pepper squid -Chargrilled Grange baby sausages then -Walnut cannelloni -Chargrilled premium eye fillet steak -Reza's signature whole lobster tail risotto -Pan fried salmon -Sides: potatoes roasted in duck fat, smoked salmon with creamy salmon mousse, beer battered fat fries, beetroot mash then -Chef's selection of signature desserts including house made vanilla ice-cream, chocolate mousse, creme caramel and chocolate gateau. To drink: -house chardonnay -house made LLB's -NZ sparkling water Okay, the whole thing cost us $138 [2 x $69 Scoopon Vouchers] plus $43 for a few extras = $182 for four. Just so so so, YES so amazin'......!!!! A classy joint.. with beautiful F & B's.. decent sized servings, considering it's fine dining.. and top notch service.. but, not formal, if you don't want it to be.. not dress-up, if you don't want to.. and not over-priced.. A great place to take that some-one special... Visited on Friday 18 December 2015 for lunch.

Wow!! It starts with…read morea cozy post WWI nostalgic Belgrade, Serbia setting with a very intimate atmosphere - followed by a warm and welcoming vibe from the owner Dushan as you walk through the front doors. If you're looking for Vue De Monde then you're in the wrong place but if you're looking for something a little traditional and away from the hustle then you've come to the right place. Danube embraces the tastes of former Yugoslavia - with a Serbian influence, it really hits home for those with a Balkan background and also for those dining enthusiasts ranging from intermediate to expert tastes. Amazing Cevapi (mini mince sausages) to the Kajmak (thickened dairy cream) on home made bread, it's certain to tantalise your tastebuds. If you're lucky (and generally on Thursday nights) you'll have a chance to dine to the sounds of traditional Balkan music - performed by four very talented musicians - it's a wonderful experience and a very entertaining evening for all. To wrap it up, Danube is a small hidden away Gem that - once uncovered - will continue to shine for those who appreciate something a little different with very satisfying results!! 5 stars and extremely happy customer!!

Our table took up most of the room and I felt sorry for the other 8 diners as our table talked non stop waiting for food to appear after an hours wait. The food,,,, Don't expect finesse, more homely cooking, tomato, cucumber feta salad, sauerkraut and chopped onion accompanied the grilled meat. Baby lamb chop, sausages chicken breat and then another plate of long sausages. All quite tasty but the lamb was too well cooked for my taste.. Dessert was two crepes filled with sweetened ricotta and sultanas, very filling but delicious, one would have been enough.for me but I noticed most guests had cleaned their plates! Go if you want a taste of the Balkans.

It's always a steak…read morehouse of some sort, but it only ever lasts a year or so before it shuts down and opens up to be a new steakhouse of another franchise. Currently its Hogs Breath café, and I think this time it might actually stick. Every time I come here its always very busy to the point where we almost always have to wait(no longer than 10min though). The waiting area is in the bar where you are able to order drinks and watch TV, there are also tables and stools available so it makes the time go by a lot faster. The Hog's Breath franchise has managed to survive thanks to its cheap and tasty steaks. Don't come expecting a 5 star quality cut of meat, but what they do serve is still very good considering the price. The meat is tender and never overdone (unless that's how you like it), and the menu offers a variety of sides for your steak. Don't worry if you not feeling like meat they serve other food here too (such as pasta, enchiladas, and burgers). This is a great family restaurant as it's fun, has a themed atmosphere and kids eat free on some weekdays! If it's your first time here, I suggest their 18hour steak with a side of curly fries.

How do they stay in business!! we should've checked here first!! Garlic prawn steak that claim to b 300g?? no way!! It's a thin piece like pork chop!! @$35 is ridiculous!! The steak burger @$20?? With small frilly fries!! come on!! AVOID!! bottomline food is crap!! Walked away $65 lighter. We had 2 drinks. And definitely not satisfied! If still game.. I suggest for for their lunch special at $10. Less of a risk!!
