I just wanted to give thanks to whomever runs the customer care department at SRP. They by far have the most efficient automated phone system I've ever used and I can always quickly get to a live service representative when needed. When you do quickly get to a live representative they are ALWAYS friendly, helpful and knowledgeable no matter what issue you present them with. If more companies took the time to run their customer service in this way customers would surely appreciate it. read more

It's 9:33 am and they turned off my power to work on something. I'm headed to doctors appointment that I needed to get ready for and now I have to wait because they can't seem to fix things when people are sleeping. Why would you send out technicians right now to fix this with no warning? Why not send out a notice so I could be prepared ? Honestly extremely pissed off. After a couple of months of a VERY tough time paying bills I called and had the pleasure of talking to Aubry! I was in tears stressed, I explained my situation and not only was she able to delay my payment but I got a card in the mail today wishing me and my family well. My husband had extensive stomach surgery. He was discharged last night with medical equipment that required electricity. This morning SRP showed up and told us that they needed to shut off our power. I explained my husband's problem and Joe went far above and beyond to run a cord from his generator to plug in the machine needed. I was very stressed and with serious lack of sleep I was not as easy to deal with as I should have been but that whole crew was very respectful and willing to assist. I'm appauled at how quickly my issue escalated into SRP blaming the bank, when the bank has proof that SRP messed up. They won't remove penalties to my account when its obvious when there pointing fingers at each other that one of them messed up not me. Rude customer service. Got to the supervisor and was hung up on before the conversation really started and having my account up didn't bother to call back. There customerless service agent made inappropriate, judgemental comments that when companies had customer service oriented policies she would have been fired. They are quick to blame others instead of actually trying to resolve an issue. There greedy and are fleecing me and their customers, telling them were not at fault so we can't help you so they don't have to give you back your money from the fees attached to your account that they never should have added in the first place and are keeping for themselves. Horrible customer service took my box deposit and did whatever they wanted with it never got a cent back

My power just got shut off due to a another customer's mistake turning their power on. The two representatives I talked to (Belinda and Carrie) were both absolutely wonderful. They made what could have been a very frustrating situation not seem so bad. read more

Generally I don't have a problem dealing with SRPbut currently I am going through a severe financial situation and struggling to keep my head above water and after speaking with SRP this morning to even a supervisor by the name of Patricia explaining my situation all she seem to care about was the fact that they may have helped me in the past and not the fact that my mother needs breathing treatments in order to stay out of the hospital and we've almost lost her twice this year to respiratory failure SRP has no compassion nor care in their heart cuz now my mother sits at home with no electricity and unable to take her breathing treatments so thank you very much for Patricia with SRP read more

I just spoke with the most wonderful customer service agent. His name was Steve. I was calling about a charge on my credit from 2013 and he absolutely went above and beyond to help me more than I ever expected. Srp is definitely lucky they have such a great employee. On another note when it comes to an electrical box going out. Srp is the best to have you may wait a couple days. With the other company they make you wait months . read more

Had Sep come out and dig in my yard and cut ten cable to my Century link and then covered the hole before Century link came to make the repair. We were left without any internet or cable for a couple of day. They acted put out every time I asked a question, even though 3 of 4 were just sitting on their tool buckets talking. Overall a negative experience, not impressed. read more

What an incredible response. We called on a Sunday because our empower box was on the fritz and we have a disabled person in our home who really can't tolerate extreme temperatures. They had someone to our house to respond with a new unit in less than 30 minutes. The customer service agent that handled the call was understanding, sympathetic, professional, and very helpful. They bent over backwards to get our situation rectified as quickly as possible and there were no additional charges for the service. Thank you to SRP and the SRP team! read more

Srp does not support solar. They force you into a program almost no one else uses where if u use too much electricity during prime time you are penalized and often pay more then non-solar customers. So if you have invested in solar you can be sure you will lose that entire investment. Not to mention they only care about money and are not looking to future and alternative energy sources. It is sad and unfortunate. read more

Spoke with Tracy in the Phoenix office. She was the most rude person I have ever spoken with. For 10 minutes I continually requested to speak with her supervisor or boss. She refused to transfer me or even give me a name of her superior. Tracy acted as if she was personally owed the money for my home electric bill. She demanded over $800 in cash or else the electricity would be shut off in the morning. When I requested that she transfer to M - power (pay in advance) she refused to do so unless she received $750 in cash. The alternative was that my home electricity would be shut off. She said "I've been doing this for 16 years and I'm very good at what I do." Wow.. what a pompous, egotistical person. She never did give me a name of her supervisor and finally ended the conversation by hanging up on me. SRP is not regulated by the State or Federal goverment...this is very dangerous and is why they act like the mafia when they deal with customers. BEWARE!!! read more
