Cons: When updating outlets, he missed getting the wire into the proper hole leaving an open circuit, and rather than debugging his work he blamed it on the electrical panel. Several replaced outlets and switches were not completed where tolerances were challenging and/or spacers were needed. He refused to come back and finish the scope of work to which he agreed so I had to buy tools and do it myself. Another electrician who came later pointed out areas where Doug's work was not to code: exposed wire nuts in garage wall without junction box and improper connections to recessed lighting in attic.

My husband called to tell them what had happened and that he would be returning the box AGAIN, and the employee just said "Okay" and hung up on him! So my husband returned everything the next day and while the employee he dealt with this time was nice, he tried to give him a refund minus the tax we paid because of the a fault in their system. My husband demanded every penny back and it was finally given to him.
