Bottom line: I wouldn't recommend Doug unless low cost is top priority…read more Pros: He is less expensive than most; recessed lighting and undercabinet lighting looks great. Cons: When updating outlets, he missed getting the wire into the proper hole leaving an open circuit, and rather than debugging his work he blamed it on the electrical panel. Several replaced outlets and switches were not completed where tolerances were challenging and/or spacers were needed. He refused to come back and finish the scope of work to which he agreed so I had to buy tools and do it myself. Another electrician who came later pointed out areas where Doug's work was not to code: exposed wire nuts in garage wall without junction box and improper connections to recessed lighting in attic.
