Cons: When updating outlets, he missed getting the wire into the proper hole leaving an open circuit, and rather than debugging his work he blamed it on the electrical panel. Several replaced outlets and switches were not completed where tolerances were challenging and/or spacers were needed. He refused to come back and finish the scope of work to which he agreed so I had to buy tools and do it myself. Another electrician who came later pointed out areas where Doug's work was not to code: exposed wire nuts in garage wall without junction box and improper connections to recessed lighting in attic.

When the technician arrived, he recommended upgrading to an EV-specific outlet, explaining it was the better choice. I appreciated the recommendation, but I was disappointed that it increased the price by $100. I felt that option should have been discussed during the initial phone calls so I could make an informed decision before the appointment. After I posted my original review, the owner personally came back to my home to make things right. He offered to refund the $100 price difference, but I declined because I didn't feel it was fair after the work had already been completed. Instead, he replaced two breakers that genuinely needed replacement at no charge. I really respect a company that stands behind its work and makes the effort to address a customer's concerns. While I still believe the pricing options should have been explained upfront, I also believe it's important to recognize excellent customer service when a business takes responsibility and follows through. As a paying customer, we shouldn't have to supervise their staff and then pay extra for their mistakes. We even had to supply them with additional parts to fix the issue! Thomas insists that the additional cost he charged us was partly due to shopping for parts, but gathering the tools and supplies for a project is obviously a prerequisite for any paid electrician. He even threatened to pull his electricians from the job if we didn't agree to pay the additional fee. I am appalled with the way he spoke to my father and I am definitely not satisfied with the added cost and stress that was a direct result of their service. Picture attached is the end result of the work, exposed wire, holes, overall, just a mess. Thomas can make all the excuses he wants, but he's not worth the risk for work done to your home.
