I love going to the range, shooting, and learning tactics. It was easy to find with a huge parking lot out front. The check-in process was smooth because we completed forms in advance. We were given dog tags that track our experience. We waited for a few minutes for 2 others that joined our group that we didn't know. We walked through metal detectors, given gear, and informed on safety parameters. The experience we had was 3 different things. We started in the range where we were given different challenges to complete. I was a pretty good shot! Our next experience was responding to a domestic violence call as a police officer. That was intense! My boyfriend and I were able to do that scenario together. The third was a timed course that each of us do individually. There were lots going on, places to look for targets, and some fast pace moves! I was proud that I atleast did not come in last place. They offer monthly memberships. We dined at the sports bar in the front. I got to say the drinks were ice cold and the food was very good! I would definitely come back here!

Parking is free and plentiful. They have water fountains throughout. Bathrooms are super clean. Lockers are free for use and have lock and key mechanism. You can use Groupon or Viator for a deal. They have memberships! Some memberships include CCA. They have veteran perks like events etc. I really love this place. It's a fun thing to do and it's safe for everyone. They're co2 loaded cartridges but they're real guns. So anyone can come and learn. The professionals can come and train, too. You can set it up like a competition or just for gun handling experience. Luckily, I found Eddy Security and Training who fit me days before my license expired despite their normal classes already being full. Todd the owner worked around my schedule and met me on a Tuesday afternoon. The 4 hour requal cost $70 plus a $16 range fee at Reigs Gun Shop and Range. Todd was really knowledgeable and had a great understanding of security. Todd teaches the D & G combined class Monday- Saturday 10a-9p with an 8 hour range day at Reigs on Sunday. Afterwards, many of his students obtain licenses through FDACS and find meaningful employment with a security agency. Todd said several of his students were hired by Paragon Systems and Rancom Security who specialize in GSA contracts with higher than average entry wages with no previous experience. Todd also teaches concealed weapon and women's handgun defense classes with his wife. Prices for each class can be found on Eddy's website but don't include any applicable licencing fees required by FDACS. Eddy Security and Training is located in same shopping plaza as Sonic. The plaza has an orange colored roof and the suite overhead sign says "407 Academy" which can be found on the Northeast side of the Plaza.
