When I explained my situation that I needed all the employees to help get these out asap, this girl (I explained above) said in the snarkiest tone "we're going as fast as we can" and proceeds to go slow. I then said "well I paid for these to be done and picked up at 3pm so this is not ok". She ROLLED HER EYES! ARE YOU KIDDING ME! I was shocked. The two boys on the shift I think were Martin and Spencer if I'm remembering correct were trying to hustle but she was going so slow and not helping them. I even reached over the counter at one point to help the boy hold the bag open that he could not do by himself and she wouldn't help with. And she says to me "we've got it ". My husband wound up renting a wedgewood blue tux (it looked like a suit to me: no strip of satin down the pants legs, no satin lapels, no cummerbund) that he wore with a pale pink shirt and a navy tie. It looked amazing: fun for a Spring wedding. Chris took my husband's measurements at our first appointment, but when the tux arrived (2 weeks before the wedding), the arms were WAY too long. No problem! We just went back down to Nordstrom's, they altered, and Black Tux credited $15 towards the alteration cost. The arms were so off, I asked Nordstrom to write off the additional $15 since I am a very regular Nordstrom shopper, and they did. Love Nordstrom's! I would have preferred that the arms had been correct, since we'd measured before ordering, but Black Tux and Nordstrom's were great to work with on the alteration. Since my husband never needs a suit in his daily life, it was fun for him to rent a fun colored tux/suit. Return was so easy - back into the box it came in, pre-paid label already on it, under the original mailing label. Highly recommend if you want to try a fun tux or suit for an occasion. The first location was in Sandy, Utah. My group and I walked in and were literally the only customers in the store, yet not a single employee bothered to help us. The employees sat in the back on their phones and never once came out to assist. After waiting and looking around for a while, we finally just left. Thinking that maybe it was just a bad location, I went to the Murray location, which for years had provided great customer service. Unfortunately, it looks like things have changed. A woman initially pointed me in the right direction, but after that there was zero assistance. Instead of helping customers, she went to the front of the store and spent time joking around with the other employees. In the past, this location would actually help you fit the suit properly, suggest alterations, and make sure everything looked right. That's what I expected again, especially since I was planning on having alterations done. Instead, I got almost no help and ended up deciding I'll be taking my business somewhere else. Based on my experience and the recent reviews online, this seems to be the new standard of service at Men's Wearhouse--employees who don't care and management that doesn't respond. After this experience, I won't be going back. If this is the level of service they're comfortable providing now, I wouldn't be surprised if this company folds up like a lawn chair when it gets cold outside
