Let me start by saying that in my years of dealing with auto mechanics/performance shops, never have I been treated with such respect and professionalism that SSR Performance has provided me with. My weekend car is a 2015 BMW M4 and I've been looking to squeeze a tad bit more "umph" out of my car for those short, spirited moments where you really want to test the car's potential. Recently bought a 2008 BMW 335i and I absolutely love the car but it turns out that I let the excitement of buying this car get the best of me and rushed in to it without thoroughly checking the vehicle. That being said, I was looking for a shop that was very knowledgable with these cars and since it's a BMW nothing is ever simple. First met them when i bought DCIs from them and they were very quick to respond to my messages and even met up on a sunday, no one I ever bought parts from meet up on sundays so that was a good first impression. They took the time to give my car a quick look when they didn't have too so that also shows that they genuinely care about helping others. I had a lot of questions about the car since I went from a nissan to a bmw and they walked me through the car and explained what everything does. Went back in later in the week to get the spark plugs changed and they helped me out with other things. Shah and Zayn are my go-to-guys now. I have a 2014 Mustang GT 5.0. I have been looking around for a while for a shop that can get me long tube headers and also install them for a reasonable price. Saw the SSR Performance decal while driving next to a car that had it on the side window so I decided to look them up. I found their number and gave them a call. The owner answered the phone and he was really helpful, being that they do a lot of Euro cars, he told me that he would do some research and get back to me. They did their research and got back to me on the same day with 4 different options I had and which ones they recommended. They were very polite and know how to treat a new customer. Took my car in and had it back within 2 days headers and exhaust installed just as they promised. The main thing that I noticed was that my car came back cleaner than when I left it...this is the first time any shop has actually given me my car back cleaner than when I left it! I brought my 2022 Audi R8 to SSR Performance for a suspension and wheel upgrade, and the experience was top-notch from start to finish. Shah and Zayn were both super helpful throughout the process, taking the time to walk me through the best options for what I wanted and making sure everything came out exactly how I envisioned. We went with KW height adjustable springs, and the ride feels so much more dialed in now--it's exactly the balance I was looking for. On top of that, I upgraded to HRE wheels, and they were able to refinish them in a brushed silver finish that looks absolutely perfect on the car. Moved out to Irvine 2 years ago. I don't have time to work on my cars anymore so I normally went to my buddy back at home before I moved out here. Starting to get into V6 power and ended buying my m235i. My business partner suggested SSR. Called them after someone hit my car in the parking while I was at work. After watching and liking tons of their YouTube and Instagram posts I finally rewarded myself with SSRs power pack, bootmod and stance package for my F80 M3. From the first phone call to the reception when I first arrived and of course the work done to my ride, they were ultra professional and welcoming. My service rep Rod answered all my questions making me feel secure about my decision. I was given a tour of the facility and saw where my car was being addressed and met some of the techs. Posting a few days after I picked upmy 335i (N54). As a former mechanic (albeit diesel) and currently in the aerospace industry quality is paramount so I like to take my time making sure everything is in tip top shape. SSR could not have impressed me more. They didnt try to oversell me on anything I didn't need. I usually do a cursery check of my OBD and a visual to ensure everything thats wrong is known ahead if time. Their workmanship is also superior and they even cleaned up my engine compartment which Ive been neglecting. I plan to go back for some turbos as I'm sure mine will need to be replaced soon (120k miles on the stock twins) to which they offer great prices on Pure brand turbos. Made an appointment and stopped by on a recommendation from a friend. Shop is owned by enthusiasts that have been in the car scene hosting drives and events and recently opened up shop so I thought they would be trust worthy. I stopped by because I could smell fuel sometimes when I turned on my 2010 335i. Without any mention of cost or time the guys at the shop pulled my car in and free of charge diagnosed my issue.Within 30 minutes they had tracked down that my spark plugs needed to be replaced and the root cause was my injectors. These are some very honest guys, they quoted me the price for new spark plugs and injectors that needed replacement and I am set for an appointment for next week to get the work done!
