The salad particularly tasted good after a long couple of days off traveling. Overall the food was decent but nothing all that special or memorable. But when she highlighted to the wait staff and it was taken back to the kitchen we were confronted by the owner who yelled at the diner that there was nothing wrong with the lamb. That he sold 10 others that day and no one complained. He looked at another diner who had the lamb back strap also the owner commented that it diid look under cooked. He aggressively offered her something else - she asked for Risotto - Butternut pumpkin and sage with parmigiano Reggiano - it came out with balsamic vinegar on top. When the diner asked why it had balsamic vinegar on it he said looked at her and said "are you for real" its on the menu- its not .. who would put balsamic vinegar on a risotto... what a horrible experience to end our Tassie Trip.

I was a tad disappointed that it was a white pizza without sauce (hard to tell from the menu since sauce wasn't listed on any of them), and I could have gone for more choices. That being said, it was one of the better pizzas I've had in Australia, and if you are looking for somewhere to eat post-MONA, this is close. Sweet! Little frills such as carved leather logo menus, linen tableware, beautiful crockery and snazzy glassware suited the presentation of the staff and clientele, all of whom seemed to have made a decent effort on dress and presentation. It's not posh. It is cosy. Service was impeccable and selection of plates and beverages a delightful mix.
