As I was walking by this place, I wondered why Yelp failed to show it on the map. Someone had incorrectly categorized the restaurant as "coffee & tea". When I saw BBQ Lamb on the menu by the front door, I dropped my initial dinner plans.
The bartender was very helpful in guiding me as she could tell I was in need of guidance. Once I ordered a beer, I gave her my card to start a tab. Unlike American bars, I was given a laminated card with my tab number. It made ordering on my tab during the evening very convenient.
Although the lamb was delicious, there were not much of it. I had been confusing information when I had ordered. That same bartender took my order and asked if that was all I was ordering. Another bartender confirmed it was a main entree.
As I was finishing my ginger beer, the staff was slowly taking away my plate and utensils. Not seeing any dessert items on the menu, I decided to tab out and go elsewhere. read more
