Matt did an outstanding job communicating with me about the details and date. Matt went above and beyond expectations to make sure that everything went well for our entire five hour event. Guests were able to sit outside and enjoy the gorgeous deck. The bar was great for more intimate conversations and the main room was spacious for the band and larger conversational groups. There is quite the community among the members, and there are events like men's night, ladies night, and couples night every week once the weather is good! Last year they got an ice cream machine for summers and i'm counting down the days until it's back this season, especially with parlor city closing nearby this ice cream hits the spot! I frequent this place a lot and am normally greeted by friendly bartenders too! I love this place and saw there hasn't been a review in a while and wanted to contribute because this place is a hidden gem and a great place to play a quick 9, or bounce between the pool and the creek bed bar all day.

Last week I had the privilege of attending the CRMA Art Gala and had a wonderful time. Parking is hit or miss. The staff is helpful. The ambiance was on point. I was actually blown away by the food this time around-- there were different buffets; one Indian, another Chinese, German... etc. Not the menu I expected, definitely not the food I would have expected a country club in Eastern Iowa to nail but they did! Delish. Every time I'm here I'm amazed at how nothing is ever updated? Part of the CR Country Club's dated charm, I suppose. Same window treatments, same sconces, same light fixtures. Overall, the CR Country Club is a gem and a great spot to host a stately shindig.
